The Deep Creek Hideout- a 2 bedroom, 1 bath private cabin close to downtown Bryson City and Deep Creek recreation area in the Great Smoky Mtns National Park. You'll love the convenience of this location no matter which direction the days activities have you going. Riding the Great Smokies RR, hiking in the Park, rafting the Nantahala River or fishing the Tuckaseegee, Deep Creek Hideaway is a clean & comfortable place to relax well stocked with items you need for your stay. Fenced-in back yard, automated outdoor lighting; as well as hot tub, front porch, flat yard, Mtn views, with a remodeled and fully equipped kitchen. We are pet friendly (pet fee required at booking).

This home is better than listed. Mark & Elizabeth go above and beyond with this property. I’ve rented several houses but this is by far my favorite. They have everything you need. We will definitely be back. Thank you for sharing your home.

My sister and I needed some time away and this home was the ticket!! They allowed us to check in a little early and gave us so much wonderful info on the town, fishing, and area. The home has everything you can think and more. The decorations were beautifully done and made you feel so relaxed and comfortable. The backyard is fenced and our pups loved to just relax. Plenty of room for my large dog crate and they supplied a small one for my sister's pup. We went walking, tubing, relaxed, swam, and the hot tub was fantastic! Perfect long weekend adventure!

Mark and Elizabeth thought of everything! This house is perfect and has all of the amenities you will need. My husband and I traveled with our dogs and the owners were very accommodating. It is very private and secluded even though you are close to everything. We will definitely be back for a longer stay next time!!

Our Deep Creek Hideaway stay was a blessing! The cabin was perfectly maintained, tastefully decorated, meticulously clean, organized, and generously stocked with more than we could possibly need. The fresh flower bouquets and many other special touches – including spa-like toiletries, and comfy bed and linens – gave us the feel of a boutique hotel! Above the valley (but easily accessed up a short driveway), the grounds were serene and secluded by wonderful trees and flowering bushes – but with mountain views and a large, level, fenced yard area our Labrador loved!
5 minutes away from the GSMNP Deep Creek entrance, we hiked the wildflower-bordered trails to 3 beautiful waterfalls; and waded along the creek’s easily-accessible banks. Our “bucket-list” walk-up to Clingman’s Dome was breathtaking. We enjoyed our visit to Darnell Farms; exploring the quaint Bryson City shops; and watching the GSM Railway comings and goings. We lazed at the cabin – puzzling; reading; relaxing in the spotless hot tub; sitting beside the fire-pit, watching the moonrise. We enjoyed cooking in the wonderfully-equipped kitchen, with the added option of both spotless propane and charcoal grills – then eating under the umbrella on the large deck table.
Most of all, we cannot thank enough, our incredible hosts Mark and Elizabeth – for their passionate, loving and above-and-beyond guest service commitment - from our 1st inquiry and throughout our stay. We cannot wait to return to Deep Creek Hideaway!

This little cottage was the perfect getaway for my husband, myself and our two dogs for Spring Break! The home is cozy and includes every amenity imaginable plus some… a heater in the bathroom, ample firewood for bonfires, a relaxing hot tub, a crate for your pup (plus pup amenities like toys and bowls), flowers from the property to greet you, and cozy bedding, towels, robes and blankets! It is convenient to downtown Bryson City, just three minutes away, and Deep Creek in GSMNP with a three waterfall hike and tubing just five miles down the road. We loved hiking in Deep Creek and the Road to Nowhere, visiting Cherokee and driving Newfound Gap Road through GSMNP. We were too early for some activities in the park and around town, leaving us the opportunity to return again in the summer or fall. Mark was super helpful, giving recommendations when asked, and clearly loves the property and the area himself. Prepare to relax and unwind. Just a beautiful spot!

The perfect vacation rental doesn't exi.... oh, wait. Yes, it does, and this is it. This place is special. We've stayed here several times, and every time we come back, we notice some new, thoughtful feature. It is spotlessly clean, the location is far enough out of town to feel secluded, but close enough to be convenient. The area has plenty of activities to offer, and the town of Bryson City has a variety of shops and restaurants but not so many people as to feel too crowded. We will always choose to stay here for our visits to the Smokies!

We opted for a mini vacation during President's day weekend and what a perfect place we found! This house is tucked away yet close to everything!! The house was spotless and so cozy and sweet, exactly what we needed. We were able to bring our 3rd 'child' which made it even nicer! Everything you could possibly need for a stay was available. The attention to detail was incredible! It was a wonderful weekend with lots of bonding time with our 2 teenagers! ❤️ Loved it and hope to stay again!

We have stayed in cabins, before, but this one tops them all !! The owners of this cabin leave no stone unturned when it comes to accommodations !! The cabin was spotless when we arrived and the owner contacted us to let us know to call him if there was anything we need. The fenced back yard was a lifesaver for pets. The decor inside is so tasteful and pleasant !! We had a wonderful experience at the cabin and in town !! Our only regret was not booking it for another week or so !! Such a cozy and homey cabin !! There is no doubt that we will be back to Bryson City and in the very same cabin !!

Just beautiful. Immaculately clean and decorated professionally. More supplies than I can list. We didn’t want to leave the cabin. Perfect for small family and their dog. Also quiet. We thoroughly enjoyed our time at this amazing home. It had so many thoughtful touches for us and our pet Schnoodle! Hot tub worked wonderfully. Evening on the deck so peaceful. Close to all. We will come back here for sure. Thank you to our wonderful host who is surely premier!

The home was exactly what we needed. It was perfect for our family of four and our fur baby. The host even provided beds, toys and bowls for our pup. The two queen size beds were comfortable with cozy bedding. My favorite feature was the heater in the bathroom. It made stepping out of the shower on a chilly morning so nice. We hiked and mountain biked in Tsali the first day. That trail is dog friendly unlike the Ntuonal Park. I highly recommend renting kayaks and dropping in at Tsali park into the pristine lake.We were amazed how clean, clear, and warm the water was. We spent the whole day swimming and kayaking. On our last day it was pretty rainy so we headed over to Cherokee Cinema. Nicest and cheapest Cinema I have ever been too! After tickets and snaks our family of four made it out of there for $50, WHAAA. I can't express enough how great our stay was. Our hosts communication with us was quick and kind. He gave us lots of helpful advise. I Highly recommend this place. It's right in town but you feel like your in the woods.

Such a charming, well-equipped retreat! The decor is cozy, and the furnishings are comfortable. The spacious fenced-in back yard, the dog bed and blankets pleased our pup, while his humans were thankful for the waste bags since we had forgotten ours until 50 miles from home. The owners have neglected nothing that could make the visitor’s stay an outstanding experience. It’s nestled in wooded setting up a small hill for more privacy.

We really enjoyed our stay in this house. Our family of four and two dogs had everything we needed. There were SO many thoughtful touches for our dogs (kennels, treats, toys, etc). The fenced in yard was just what our dogs needed after a 900 mile road trip. The home was in a great location to access hiking, rafting, tubing.

We had a few days to retreat at our “home away from home” and this cabin has all THAT and MORE! We could not ask for a better place and Mark made sure we had everything that was needed for my husband and two furry friends! We will be back to this perfect location when we can get another break! We really enjoyed staying at this property. It is extremely well kept up (e.g. nice kitchen, nice bathroom) with a lot of great amenities. The location feels very private, but it is still very close to both the Deep Creek trails / campground and to Bryson City.
Just some of the things we particularly enjoyed:
- Patio was comfortable, we ate most meals out there
- Fenced yard was perfect for our dog (and it is very nice that the patio gate to the driveway can be closed while the gate to the fenced yard can be left open).
- Hot tub was clean and worked well - it was fun to use at night and see all the fireflies
- Very well-equipped kitchen
- Master bed was comfortable
We would definitely stay again if we come back to Bryson City.

Per our request, Mark had two crates ready for our dogs. Without our request, Mark tried to make early checkin available for us. Even though the hot tub cover was penetrated by a tree limb due to high wind, he was able to clean the tub and tape up the hole hours before we arrived. Mark was very responsive and easy to communicate. He kept asking if we need anything or have questions about the area although his property already provided things more than we could possibly need. Mark also provided hot tub cleaning service in the mid week. I would definitely recommend this pet friendly property to a small family with or without pets.

This was the best-stocked vacation rental I have ever stayed at! Better than the pictures, immaculately clean, all as described, except they didn't mention the gas grill. Fenced backyard was perfect for our dog, and I wasn't sure I'd get my wife out of the hot tub. Mark was so friendly, and checked in mid week to make sure all was well. Close to Bryson City, a quiet alternative to the Tennessee side of the park. Don't miss the new Nantahala Brewing on the way into town, weekends only for now. Can't wait to come back!

We got exactly what we were looking for with this rental! Close enough to town for convenience, but far enough away to be secluded! No issues with phone service or Wi-Fi. We had everything that we needed for my husband, myself and our pups. The fenced in yard that’s connected with the front porch made it so convenient for letting the dogs out. The house was very clean and stocked with all the things! Highly recommend! We will be returning!

This is a great location - 1 mile to a trailhead for hiking and 12 miles to the casino.

The cabin is furnished and has all the "extras" extra blankets, coffee and supplies, basic cooking needs so you do not have to go but every little thing. This was our 2nd stay and will be returning again!

This place is perfect - only 2 minutes from downtown yet completely private. The house is well stocked with everything you need. Our Doodle dog loved the back yard and we loved the convenience of being able to let him out off leash. There are plenty of games for family game night and the hot tub is amazing. We will be back!

The house was a perfect size for us and our dog. The place was so cozy and loved the gas fireplace. We also loved that it has a fenced back yard that we could take our dog out in. The place had a very nice front deck. I also liked when we came back to the house at night the outside was well lighted. We enjoyed our stay and going out each day exploring the area.

This was our first time ever renting a cabin. We really enjoyed our stay here! We came for the polar express train ride and it is literally 3-5 mins away. It's really clean and has everything you would need. We didn't know what to expect so we brought all of our own stuff. Anyways, we will most definitely be staying here again!
