This is a very nice, well located property. Nice outlook - you can see the ski jumps at Happo One and everywhere is an easy drive. Easy walk down the road to Echoland to all the restaurants and shops. Shuttle buses are also very close.
Floor heating in the house is excellent once you find your comfortable temperature.
These are all very minor but worth noting if they might affect you:
The 2nd bathroom upstairs is a separate shower and a separate wc with a basin integrated into the toilet suite. There is no other basin. So to wash your hands you need to either add a soap dispenser in the room, try and do it in the shower and keep dry or use the kitchen sink.
The exit signs upstairs and down are *exceptionally* bright and may disrupt your sleep. A compliance requirement no doubt but a bit of a pain.
There is not really a drying room here. There is a ski rack and some floor space in the entrance and a pair of sliding doors you can use to close off this area. But if you turn up the floor heating enough to dry things well, the rest of downstairs where 2 of the bedrooms are, becomes uncomfortably hot.
There is a coat rack downstairs but really only fits 2 jackets. If you add another they will be overlapping each other so if you're trying to dry them it's not ideal.
The window over the kitchen sink has no blind and if the neighbours don't close theirs they're looking in on you.

Snow Haven is located only a short walk to Echoland as well as multiple bus stops which got us to the different ski mountains. The house is very spacious with heated floors and wifi, even the bathrooms had plenty of room. The Staff of Shiki Living who look after Snow Haven made our stay such a delight. They would pick us up to go to the supermarket, book us at the nicest restaurants in town, book us Taxi's and even helped us transport our luggage to Hakuba Base Camp on check out day. We couldn't recommend this house more, or any of the Shiki Living locations. When we come back to Hakuba this will definitely be the place we stay.
We loved everything.
