Se alojan más personas de la cuenta allí tanto en el sofá como en la escalera me encontré durmiendo a gente. A mi compañera de habitación le robaron.

If you just need a room next to the airport with no expectation, take it. If you expect more don’t !

The bed was comfy

It’s said breakfast included but there were 2 cereal bars and that’s it (see picture “lobby”). The tenant said it would be “in the kitchen, no worries”. I was expecting yoghurt, eggs or cereal but got nothing. At arrival, I was stuck with a roommate of mine because the tenant was not there, I was behind the door and no one could open. However, I called and the tenant came 15 minutes after but still, I had announced my arrival time. The alarm system was untraditional, every time a door was opened, it would beep which is not enjoyable when you want some chill time.

La disponibilité de rentrer et sortir quand on veux, d avoir a disposition le four, micro-onde et frigo.

Tous c est bien passer sauf que le code de la salle de bain n'a jamais fonctionné donc je ne m en suis jamais servi et que l avant dernière j étais dans la chambre seul avec deux hommes qui ce connaissait et je me sentais pas en sécurité, j aurai préféré être entre fille et pouvoir utiliser la salle de bain que j avais payer .

Rude Behaviour, Annoying Door Lock System

The Property was clean, usually the Dormitories or the common bathrooms are not that clean but this was not the case with this property, it was clean all around.

I would definitely say that the owner needs to be polite as the hospitality industry don't need such kind of behaviour even if the customer is wrong. There are 4 doors you need to unlock several times every day. The main door, main lobby door, bedroom door and the bathroom door each one have a separate lock with touch pad. I was sometime unable to unlock the bedroom door with my code as compared to other doors which were working fine each time with same code. I get blocked by the door lock system while my phone was inside and a guy from the neighboring bedroom helped me to communicate with the owner.. I complained him that there is something wrong with the bedroom lock and it needs to be addressed, the first sentence he replied was "there is nothing wrong with the lock and what's wrong is with you". It's quite harsh to say it so straight. Even when he came to the property his behaviour was similar and he said I need to put more attention while entering the code. To cut it short, I figured out that the time limit to input next digit after the previous was set to a very short period and I need to enter the code asap rather than putting more attention on each digit. The other annoying thing was the alarm sound with each door which rings every time on every door even in the midnight. There was no message prior to my arrival from the property that the main door needs a passcode and there will be no one to assist you at the property. Luckily I was having the internet so I messaged through booking.com but what if someone doesn't?

Only if you need to be close to Newark airport

Generally it is an okay place to stay for one night stay if you want to be close to the Newark airport. So to me location was the most important thing.

If you are coming from Europe, don't expect a hostel you are used to. It is more like Airbnb, but with many beds in one room. There is no staff to help you, if you have any problems. You cannot leave your luggage after check out, because no one is around. There is NO breakfast, at least I have not seen any. Then, if you want to see the NYC you need to get a train over there, so if you add ticket cost maybe it is not worth to pay less for accommodation.

Exceptional

The owner was friendly and was able to promptly give me the code to enter within minutes after I called. In addition, everything in the hostel felt very homey, from the setup of the living room, to the kitchen, and to the restroom. The kitchen, bedroom, and bathroom were spotless, with new (or like new) appliances. The room was set up in an ergonomic way, with a clear path into the bedroom and spaces clearly delineated for storage and for sleeping.

A couple of parts of the walls in my room needed a little touch-up of white paint (because of scuff marks), but that is a minor issue.

Disappointing

Free breakfast was offered. However, breakfast was inedible, all was offered was coffee which doesn't count as breakfast, and the machine was not clear on how to operate.

Called for a week to reschedule dates in 2 weeks advance, their voicemail was full. Same time tried to contact them through booking.com, but no reply. They finally send reply back after a week that they cant. Was given a room of 4 beds, which had a total of 3 occupants including me. At middle of night, another 2 occupants shows up out of nowhere, wakes everyone up, takes up one of the occupied bed and the empty bed. Very poor rescheduling.

Value for money with some compromises.

The location was good and it was value for money.

Though it was mentioned that breakfast is included but just coffee and biscuits were provided, that too were insufficient.

It has trash smell in room and NO RESPECT for guest. it is full of drug smell No clean and someone was using my bed it is against policy bc we pay cleaning fee Owner need to refund
