Excellent

Lovely quiet peaceful location. The cottage was spacious, plenty of room for 5 adults and 2 children. Large outside area were the children can play and the adults can sit. The cottage was clean and well equipped, comfortable beds and excellent showers, in all three bathrooms!

Simply an amazing property, my family and I will definitely stay here again in future.

I stayed here with my large family - 8 of us. Property is great for a quiet and peaceful break. Everything was amazing, and exactly as described. Host was kind with great communication - we needed an extra bed and it was all sorted with no trouble at all, before our arrival. After the first night we needed an extra set of beddings and she provided it. I forgot to pack a charger, but the host lent me one. Property was really spacious, spotless, and had everything we needed - basically a home from home. Best of all, it has 3 bathrooms, which is fantastic for a large family.

Nothing really to dislike, maybe a bit of a distance to amenities but it wasn't really an issue for us. If you have sensitive skin and need beddings washed with fragrance-free laundry powder, make sure to let the host know in advance and she'll ensure it's done

We had a great time and would recommend the property

We stayed here as wanted to visit Southend and Clacton and surrounding areas so drove out each day, also had 3 kids so lots of outside space for them to let off steam. Couldn't fault the property and owners were lovely, vary accomodating.

Peaceful location & clean, spacious,comfy lodge with friendly host...

Clean spacious & peaceful lodge...well equipped & comfy. Slept well & host was most helpful. Good to have washing machine & dishwasher.

All good-maybe cushions & throws in lounge would be nice touch...

Excellent house for family meet up

Lovely house, far bigger than it looks in the photos. Plenty of room for our three generation family meet up with three bathrooms and four double bedrooms. Best stocked kitchen I've ever seen in a holiday let.. Rural location and great estuary/coastal access.

Nothing to not like ..crazy, windy roads!!

This is a great place and I would book here again!

Modern well kept bungalow with a feeling of space and peace. Well equipped kitchen with dishwasher!

Could not work out how to get the ovens to grill? Otherwise all good.

Great stay in a lovely property with a very friendly host.

Sheena, the host, came to introduce herself once we had arrived and let us know where we could find her if we had any issues. The kitchen was very well equipped and had everything we could possibly need. The sofas were very comfy and the bedrooms were spacious and comfortable. Would definitely recommend and stay again.

It was a little hard to find when we first arrived.

The best customer experience

Spacious bedrooms, dining, kitchen and lounge area; very wide lawn for children to play. Fully equipped house and very clean. The customer service experience was the best we have had!

All round a great place, would highly recommend. We will certainly re-book.

It was perfect for our needs, the garden is massive and great for the children to run around in complete safety. Loads of indoor space too, all rooms, a great size and the living space extensive.

Excellent value & location

Large large and spacious lodge .. 3 bathrooms, spotlessly clean.. plenty utensils for big families or groups. Quiet location easy access and parking. Good local pub

Great modern and clean property. All amenities needed for a long stay. well stocked kitchen and plenty of space.

Very lovely, modern and spacious home - I highly recommend

The location was lovely and the house was very spacious. My dad has mobility limitations - yet this place was great and suitable for our family of 6. I would recommend this place to anyone! The hosts are also very friendly.

It wasn't a problem for us because we came prepared, but large supermarkets are about 20- 30 mins away from the home (by car)
