Great location: Gondola and bus station just across the parking lot, very clean and calm.
Music was great in the lobby
Breakfast was tasty but way too simple. Only toast with butter and jam, salad and boiled eggs. After 5 days I got bored and it is not difficult to offer different spreads, sausages, fruits etc.

Excellent property located right at the base of Tsugaike mountain (in my opinion the best resort in the Hakuba Valley). The staff were incredible, most spoke english or had enough english language skills to answer any questions. The people make the place and staff here were really exceptional. I stayed in a dorm room whihc are laid out well "capsule style" which gives you alot of privacy and seperation from the other guests in your room. The facilities were super clean, like scrubbed daily. Breakfast was great; coffee was SUPER strong. There is a small meeting room available if you need some privacy for work calls. The drying room stays hot all night long and gear was always super dry in the morning. There is also a kitchen were you can cook for yourself if you need to. Also laundry machines and dryers available. The bus stop from Nagano/Narita is almost at the front door of the hotel and the bus to get to the other resorts in the area is a 2 minute walk away from the front door. My only complaint was that the wifi was pretty weak, had trouble streaming video more than once but was capable of uploading youtube videos thought it did take a little longer. overall I HIGHLY recommend the UnPlan Hakuba. I didn't want to leave and would 100% stay again. You will not regret staying here
Wifi could have been stronger throughout the facility

Staff were super-friendly and helpful. The location was amazing - very close to the bottom of the Tsugaike gondola and ticket office.

Location amazing, close to Tsugaike gondola. It's a good idea to choose here instead of Happo One since buses from train station run frequently and stop nearby. The hotel has a cozy restaurant with delicacies made with local ingredients. Room was simple but had everything you need for a snow trip, including a unit bath
Room heater was very strong even on weak configuration. Breakfast could have meat options and cheese. And drying room could have hangers with clips for gloves and goggles.

It is really comfy and the people there are so kind and welcoming.
The breakfast price, maybe. It was too high in my opinion.

The atmosphere was amazing, the work staff were awesome and showed me great hospitality. I came in the summer so the location wasn’t ideal but such an amazing place, and if you’re coming in winter it would be ideal.

There was an extremely loud party / club that took place at the hotel on Wednesday night from midnight and it went on until 3am. there was no warning and I was woken up by the loud music.

The location was fabulous just a short walk to the slopes, restaurants and shuttle bus stop. The shared bathrooms were clean, with hot strong showers. The cubby style bunk beds each with a light, power outlets and phone changing point were cosy and warm. We each got a voucher for a free drink on check in. Lift passes were available from the restaurant at the property. Coin operated washing machine and driers next to kitchen.
The shared kitchen was tiny for the number of guests staying and we had to queue to use it the first night and got there as soon as we were off the slopes the second night so we didn’t have to wait. The kitchen was dirty and generally run down. Only three bar size fridges to accommodate all the guests. Inadequate seating to sit and eat meals, there was a cosy sitting room with one traditional table which was usually over full at meal times. There was another area which could only be accessed by walking through the restaurant but it was designed for working and usually full of people on computers with no room spare to sit at a table to eat. In the bunk room the wall paper was peeling off with stains on the wall and the windows rattled every time the door was opened and closed. The heater adequately heated the room but was broken and had to be adjusted utilising pilers which were supplied. The bathroom sinks were open plan and unisex. Had to rent towels and purchase slippers.

Location, very clean, restaurant downstairs has awesome pasta/noodles, nice chilling room for hotel guests.
Very basic room. Not even a table next to socket to charge your phone... so phone on the floor... if the cable long enough. Also no kettle in the room. Its available though if you go 2 floors down to a tiny kitchen/ common area... both thigs not the end of the world, just a bit inconvenient for the price of jpy25.000 a night.

Food was amazing! And super close to the ski lift.

Staff was nice and accommodating. But only available in the evening.
Coin-operated washer/drier
Really expensive for what it offers : heating was very loud all night, it woke me up several times, no options for breakfast, food at the restaurant was limited and not worth the cost, no elevator and view to a parking lot, shared kitchen is small and not very clean. All that for a much higher price than many other hotels in Hakuba right at the slopes.

The location is very good, near by the Tsugaike Snow Resort, you can just walk to there. We were stayed at Dormitory Room, the mattress was good enough for the price. Each bed has outlet and light, that is all I need for a night.

I liked the location, very close to gondola and ski lift. The girl at the reception helped arrange a lost and found call for a forgotten bag in Hoppo one.
The facilities were minimalistic given the price charged. Few things like water bottle, ski equipment rent discount should be provided. The breafast menu could be expended little more with sausages and bacons.

The mixed room ventilation little bit not good at rainny day.(bit heavy raining that day/night)
