Tolle Lage, sehr sauber.
Alles toll

The photos do not do this place any justice. It is exceptionally beautiful and located inside the jungle which provides a wonderful experience. Spotted lots of animals within the property premises, including chipmunks, monkeys, a Jesus lizard, and even a frog. Considering the location insects were surprisingly not an issue.
The host also provided us with coffee for the entire duration of the stay as well as gave us a pineapple and 2 mangoes upon our arrival.
A car, taxi (UBER is unreliable) or public transport (need a 15 minute walk to reach the nearest bus stop) is required to reach the town center.

The lodge is well located in the middle of nature. We could sit nice outside to observate the animals. The bungalow has a huge Window, so that you can also watch the animals from inside the bed.
The owners had recommended their neighbor to us for a tour in Manuel antonio, which was very good.
The complex as a whole is very well maintained and the pool is also very tidy. The room does not have air conditioning, but this was not necessary as there was enough air circulation due to the design of the Bungalow and the fan and it was not hot or stuffy in the Room.
We felt the price was too high. Our kitchen was not well equipped. We would have preferred a small electric stove.
In addition, we did not receive fresh towels or room service for 2 nights. Basically, you don't need fresh towels every day. However, we were there during the rainy season, so our towels couldn't dry.

Very comfortable and beautiful area. We almost had our private lodge with very helpful and kind hosts.

Great place in the middle of nature. We can always watch monkeys from our balcony and there's 2 hammocks which is perfect for a couple. There are 2 other rental properties in the compound but we felt privacy as our balcony was opposite the others and facing just nature.
Kitchen is equipped enough for simple meals. The swimming pool is nice to have is the Costa Rican heat.
Owners are very kind.

Lovely place to stay with very nice hosts. It was great to be right next to the rainforest (with capuchin monkeys!) and with a nice pool to relax in.

The forest accommodation is located in the middle of the rainforest, in a particularly beautiful, orderly and well-maintained environment. In the cabin you really feel like you're out in nature, it's simply fantastic. The pool is easy to use and clean. Special point for the two cute dogs who are adorable :) Next time we're in the area, we'll definitely come back here!

We loved our stay in Selva Linda Lodge! Absolutely magical to be in the rainforest and be able to sit in hammocks on the balcony watching and listening to the wildlife. We saw quite a few monkeys during our stay! The facilities are great and it was lovely to dip in the pool after hot days. The check in and check out was easy too, and our hosts were very friendly. Thanks so much! Highly recommended!
There isn't a great pedestrian route to Quepos, however the surroundings of the lodge make up for it! It's easy to get in to town via car or taxi so this isn't really a problem.

It was in a unique location, overlooking the jungle. The owners were very friendly and helpful. The pool was clean and private. Close to the chocolate tour and far away from the hustle and bustle of Quepos.
It would have been helpful to have a rack for drying our wet clothes, but overall a great experience!!

Quiet in beautiful surroundings. Frioendly hosts who showed us a pregnant sloth on the premasis. Great value for the money. Highly recommendable

We saw a lot of monkeys and even a sloth from the balcony. Owners are very nice people.
There are no curtains in de room but that's okay because you will see monkeys when you wake up.
It would be even better if they have the option to include breakfast.

Stunning view of the jungle and wildlife. We could literally see the titi monkeys jumping tree to tree from our bed. We had wildlife presence in the morning way better than we saw in Manuel Antonio national park.
The host, Cat, is lovely and very attentive. She found and shared activities we couldn't find anywhere else and was always available for help.
A more complete kitchenette would have been welcome.

Super neat room set up! Loved the hammocks, and it was neat to stay in the jungle!
Cash only, but that was made very clear from the start so not a problem at all.

the pictures don’t do this place justice. Amazing to wake up in the morning to a view of the jungle. Saw lots of squirrel monkeys near property. Owners lovely and v friendly.

The host was extremely friendly and even understood when Check Out took us 2 hours more (!) bc of a misunderstanding and bc our taxi took almost one hour to arrive. The location is very beautiful and peaceful and very connected to nature. It feels like in the middle of nowhere so it’s a perfect hide away go calm down and connect with nature.
Just something to be aware of: the bungalows are designed to stay connected with nature so instead of windows there are mosquito nets and no airconditioning. It can get very warm during the day and you always hear the jungle. But we loved that!
The property isn’t easy to reach without car, at least you should speak some Spanish to call taxis.

The place is a little bit off the main roads so you preferably need some means of transportation. It was more or less in the middle of the jungle and the night sounds were an amazing loud orchestra.
I did a bit of hiking in the forests around the place, which was an adventure. The trails were less than desirably marked and clear, and after a few kilometers I ended up at a dead end. There was also a sign some few hundred meters in on the trail, which said that you should never hike alone - a little too late for me, as I was hiking alone. A pro tip - which I used - is to continually put down markers on whatever you're using as a map app on your phone (google maps etc). That way you can always get back to any one of those markers if you get lost and find your way out. Also, it was never so remote as to cause any worry, as you could still here the sounds of roads and civilization throughout the hike. For the hiking interested, I would absolutely recommend it, with realistic expectations of how far you can go along the poorly marked trails (about 2-3 km)
Perhaps that finding the place was a little challenging, but not too much. Google earth didn't help fully, so you need to contact the owners to get their directions for the final few hundred meters. The owners didn't take card payment, which made me have to search for an ATM to get cash. Not a big obstacle but of course less visitor friendly than it could be.

Loved the indoor outdoor area, the monkeys in the morning and the friendliness of the owners.
Extra face towels and hand towels would have been appreciated.

This cute property is located in a quiet little slice of jungle heaven. Every morning of our stay we sat outside with our coffee and saw a troop of squirrel monkeys playing in the trees. We stayed in two of the bungalows and we were happy with both of them. There is a well maintained pool that we were also able to enjoy in the evenings after long days of touring and hiking the area. Oh! And I can't forget to mention that the owners have two doggies that love to have guest around. :-)
The only thing that could have been better is that the screen doors had some holes in them.

Great location, quite with nice view directly in the forest. We would consider staying again.
Kitchen could have been better equipped (e.g. dishcloth, bottle opener, pepper, oil, etc.)
Room and bathroom floors were clean. Recommend to also dust off areas around windows and ceiling.

We stayed in a lovely cabana-like cabin with outdoor deck and kitchen - outdoor living at its best. The pool area was delightful, well maintained, and very private; we had it to ourselves when we were there. The grounds outside the facility were extensive and a great place to walk. We loved our stay at Selva Linda and will stay there again!
The kitchen could have been better equipped, adding a cooking burner at least.

All was perfect, but especially terrace in the jungle and swimming pool.
Air condition would be a plus. However, lack of AC does not disturb at night.

If we could rate this with the mark 11, it would be absolutely great stay in Quepos. Super nice owners (including their dogs Angus and Choco), very clean room and swimming pool, in kitchen all appliances and kitchen facilities, beautiful big terrace with hammocks and breathtaking view (birds, jungle, monkeys, nature....), secured parking, nice walking trails in the surroundings, value for money is great.
If in Quepos and Manuel Antonio area, don't look further. This is absolutely THE BEST PLACE TO STAY.

This is hands-down one of the best places I've ever stayed in. You can sit at the terrace that faces the jungle and listen to the animals surrounding you. The bungalow itself is clean and comfortable. You also have a well-equipped kitchen and a swimming-pool at your disposal. It was a pity to leave this place and its nice owners!

The directions were confusing on Google maps and Waze, but the host was responsive and it wasn't a big problem

Very confortable and brand new bungalows. Large terrasses surrounded by tropical forest, it is very relaxing. All cooking facilities for a family.
First accomodation i have ever met without soap.
Not so easy to find, a sign board should be put on the main road
