Gorgeous 1300 sq. ft. condo in Legacy Villas. Legacy Villas is set against the Santa Rosa Mountains and next door to the world famous Waldorf Astoria Resort and Spa in La Quinta. Legacy Villas has 12 sparkling salt water pools (including 2 lap pools) and 11 spas throughout the community. The two large main pools have poolside cabanas and water entertainment for the children. Your villa is very close to the main pools and just steps from two of the satellite pools.
Unlike some of the other units in Legacy, this villa is unobstructed by other units. Therefore, you have a clear view of the Legacy Villas lush landscape and the picturesque Santa Rosa Mountains. Additionally, there is a grass area directly off the two patios, which is ideal if you have small children. They can play within your immediate sight, while you relax on the patio. Our villa is west-facing so that you can enjoy the beautiful La Quinta sunsets right outside your living room door!

Property location is great, spacious, clean and was stocked with all the amenities we needed.

This was an excellent rental experience starting with open and responsive communication with Melynie, to the clear check-in procedures, to the great condo (fully furnished and equipped, clean, and exactly as described), great location, and wonderful amenities. The unit is beautiful & spacious, better than pictured. But security is ridiculously tight & no fun can be had here. My friends husband came to surprise her & he wasn't allowed to stay here because it "sleeps 4". We are grown adults, travel a lot & have never been treated so poorly and so restricted by such extreme inflexibility.

We were very pleased with the unit for ourselves, our adult son as well as our dog. Nicely decorated and the location was close to two pools as well as the main clubhouse pools. Melonie was very responsive to any questions or messages I had sent. Looking forward to our next stay at her property.

Our family really enjoyed this condo and the community. This unit was bright and clean and had everything we needed. Comfortable beds, furniture and a well stocked kitchen. It was a great layout for our family of four but would be perfect for two couples too. The condo was perfectly located for quick access to the pool and very quiet. We loved sitting outside to enjoy our morning coffee or happy hour at sunset. We will be back to this unit!

This is our 4th visit to LQ and first time staying at Legacy Villas. We have found our perfect spot! The community is absolutely beautiful, surrounded by mountains with incredible views, 12 pools and hot tubs as well as a fitness center. We loved the resort feel, the beautiful views right from the condo (inside and out), the close proximity to Old Town La Quinta and the open and airy feeling of Melynie’s villa. Location was great, a short walk to the main pool and fitness center. It was also very nice to be on the ground floor and have grass right outside for our dog to play in. Thanks for a great stay!

Melynie was super accommodating and the condo was as well! We thoroughly enjoyed our weekend stay. Super fun and relaxing and we had everything we could need. We will definitely be back!!

Came for a girls trip! Check in was easy peasy - Melyne was awesome to work with…walking in unit was clean and smelled good! Unit was supplied with everything we needed in kitchen and bathroom! Towels were soft, linens were clean, bed was super comfy. Loved smart TVs. I was pleasantly surprised with how close the unit was to multiple pools and could pick which pool based on scenery or how busy pool was. Gym was sufficient and we spent a lot of time at the main clubhouse area…which is gorgeous. Awesome access to the cabanas which felt ritzy! Everything on the grounds was very clean and well kept. Laquinta was a nice sleepy little area to stay in - close to some nice hikes as well. Would for sure stay here again!!!!

Melynie was lovely! We were able to get in early on the first day and the condo had everything we needed. The ac regulations were tough because it was super hot but the large fans were great, and a night dip in the pool definitely helps. We were very comfortable and the location is excellent. Short walk to town or a cheap Uber ride to get dinner and drinks.

Positives:
Condo was very clean and well stocked. Owner was helpful, responsive and accommodating. The grounds and setting are beautiful. The pools are well kept and refreshing.
Negatives:
One of the king beds should be replaced. It didn’t isolate movement and made a restful night’s sleep difficult. The owners ask that the thermostat not be set lower than 76 degrees. For my family, that is too warm for comfortable sleeping conditions.

Heaven in LaQuinta
This condo is perfect. Legacy Villas is a beautiful complex with a variety of swimming options including family pools and lap pools for adults in a central location. The condo is well equipped, nicely furnished, and extremely comfortable. The owner takes pride in her property and is on the property and very responsive. I highly recommend this property.

Nice stay
The condo was in a great corner location downstairs. The unit was well stocked and the beds were comfortable. The towels were new and soft. The kitchen had plenty of appliances and utensils. Great communication with the owner! The one recommendation I do have is that the carpet needs replacing, it was very stained in many areas. Overall, it was a great experience.

Christmas Getaway
Went for Christmas with my wife, son and his wife. We all had a wonderful time, the Legacy Villas were even better than expected. Pools available everywhere, quiet neighborhood and beautiful surroundings. Took many walks to the Waldorf La Quinta Resort next door, about an 8 minute walk and got to enjoy the bars, reastaurants, shops and views there. Spectacular.

Once again visiting a magical and beautiful space
This is our 4th time at Legacy Villas, but our 2nd stay with Melanie. Her villa is extremely well-equipped such elegant kitchen ware and decor, the space is clean and very nicely decorated, the villa is celestial to spend with with family and friends. We spent four glorious nights resting, eating, and playing games, a perfect getaway right before the holidays. We love staying at Melanie's villa, we are already planning our Spring and Summer vacations here, hope there is availability after the positive reviews. We highly recommend her villa.

La Quinta Treasure
Our stay at this La Quinta condo was excellent. The community is gated, private and quiet. It's nestled up to gorgeous rugged ranges that were dramatic from sun up to sun down! The condo is very well set up with everything needed for a short or long stay. The beds and pillows are extra comfortable......an important feature for us.
The location is close to everything you need and with a large variety of restaurants.
We were relaxed when at the condo and thoroughly enjoyed our stay!!!

Thanksgiving holiday
Our Thanksgiving week of sunshine and golf in La Quinta was only made better by our accommodations at the Legacy Villas. This two bedroom/two bath home was perfect for the three of us. It was furnished perfectly. The kitchen came with everything we needed to prepare a simple morning breakfast all the way to a full Thanksgiving meal. Morning coffee on the terrace just off the bedroom was the perfect location to welcome the day. Our pre-arrival communication with Melynie couldn’t have been better. We will certainly consider staying here again when we return to the desert in the near future.

Spacious and well-appointed!
My cousin and I went out for the weekend with my dog, and have stayed in this development before, love the location and vibe, so we knew we wanted to stay again. The layout is great as the bedrooms & bathrooms are on either side of the kitchen/living room, so great privacy if you are traveling with others. Pet friendly was a huge plus! Very nice appliances and a well-stocked kitchen so if you are looking to cook meals you will have all you need. Patio is also quite pleasant.

Absolutely wonderful!
The condo is beautiful and spacious, as are the surrounding grounds. The kitchen was well stocked with dishes and supplies and there were plenty of towels, including for the pool. We brought our dog who enjoyed the many trails around the property and my son loved pool hopping! Great outdoor patio space too. We hated to leave! Highly recommend.

Comfortable and convenient
My kids and I stayed in Melaynie’s condo for a couple of nights and it was perfect! The place is very comfortable, very nice bedding, towels, etc. there are at least two pools just a few steps away and they were not crowded- especially if you are staying during the week. I highly recommend her place for short- or long a get away!

Family & Pet Friendly
Melynie’s a great host! The condo was clean and stocked with all the essentials. There are several pools throughout the property which we enjoyed with our kids and never it felt too crowded. We brought our dog and and enjoyed walks on the trail that goes around the resort that allows dogs on a leash. We will definitely come back again!!
