Fawlty towers

View was excellent

I can't give a minus score, so it gets 1 star for the view. Aside from the usual things that are a bit meh but you make do - old room, very worn, windows welded shut and rusting, not enough towels, 1 satchet of coffee, keys jamming in every door and getting trapped in the car park. Pool was under construction. The room below us was being renovated and jack hammers started at 7:30am. The room was filthy - smashed glass under the fridge, wrappers under the beds. And the icing on the cake. My 15 month old picked up a tablet off the floor. Half of a 4mg xanax someone had dropped. Our stay could have gone very very badly. Not sure how this place had so many great reviews.

Relaxing break, amazing view, convenient location, walking distance to many food and drinks.

The view was amazing. The pool was warm, best used in morning or lunchtime as shaded in afternoon. Enjoyed playing pool in the games room. We had a superior room and it was newly renovated and trendy. Lots of dishes, big fridge and the view again from the kitchen, balcony and bedrooms amazing. The bathroom had a washer/dryer which was great for us. A lovely coffee shop, Nandos and Maccas in walking distance. Also convenience store and bottle shop around the corner.

The driveway into the carpark is a nightmare. There should be a warning, our car bottomed out on the ramp every time we went in or out. The car space was extremely small. I had to get out so we could park. My husband climbed across my seat to get out of the car. There were not enough pillows in our room. Especially being a Superior room you would expect 4. There were 2 pillows on the bed in the master, none in the cupboard. 3 pillows in the other double. The room was checked before we arrived. I'm sure it was cleaned and maybe not used since Christmas. The bed had hairs, dust etc where is was exposed. The doona cover was dirty. I washed it. My daughter refused to sleep until I cleaned the bedding.

Good apartment but ruined by the whistling wind noise which dominated

Very disappointed.

There was no fan or air con in main bedroom and the bed was raised to window height so you wouldn't open them for privacy sake and road noise. The fan & light in the main area couldn't be switched on. All the remotes had flat batteries. All the electrical cords were pulled out including TV aerial (hidden behind sofa and too low for older people to easily re-connect). The road noise was awful it was uncomfortable to sit on the small balcony because the heat/noise from the air-con was too much. On arrival we had to remove a vacuum cleaner blocking our door entrance.

For the view and proximity to the ocean I loved it.

The location was fantastic, exactly what I needed. I was so pleased to receive the front facing unit, which has views as far as the eye can see to the north and south, as well as what is right in front of you.

The location of the swimming pool left a lot to be desired. I would love to have used it but the process of getting there was too hard and on two occasions, I found the sliding glass doors from the games room would not unlock to allow access. Also within the unit there were only 3 chairs not 4 for the dining bench and the lack of relaxing chairs was annoying. The couches were too low and without arm support, too hard to get in and out of (for an older person!).

Great location. Gorgeous views. Good sized kitchen. Friendly helpful staff member.

Location was very good. Across the road from beach, easy walking distance to shops and cafes. Rooftop bbq and duel bbqs by poolside. Gorgeous view from room. Beds were comfortable.

Key access into garage was dated and difficult at times to open garage from car. Can walk in from the street and easily access different floors. No ac in bedrooms. Dirty cutlery, cups and dishes. Oven was dirty. No pantry storage in kitchen.

Very relaxing and enjoyable stay.

Location was great. Beach just across the road with lifesavers on patrol. Beautiful views from unit. Cafe and restaurants nearby. Beautiful place for a walk. Markets nearby.

Unfortunately, nearby units were being renovated so some unavoidable noise from workers.

Good location

The kitchen blinds need serious cleaning or replacing as they are heavily grease stained. Linen is supplied but the spare pillows did not have pillow cases on them. Bedrooms curtains do nothing to keep the light out.

Great location, fantastic hosts

Excellent location and stunning ocean views. The hosts Mariska and Taze were great and very accommodating. They were very helpful and did what they could to make our stay more comfortable.

The apartment was in need of a spruce up. It needs a paint. The fridge was old and well used. It looked like it had come from a Tradie's workshop. It really should be replaced. The toaster was unacceptable. There weren't enough pillow cases for all the pillows. We had to ask for more and they were supplied without hassle. The pillows were old and stained. Only one face cloth and hand towel. Again, they were supplied on request.

Beautiful location, no room cleaning service

Location was good, walking distance to the beach and cafes, amazing view, warm pool, facilities in room all working (we regularly used the oven, stove, washing machine), pool table and air hockey machine.

Toilet was smelly when we arrived, no replacement toilet paper (bought our own).

The unit was very comfortable and the location was excellent.One tiny point was the pool is in a shaded area and the wind was quite cold add to that the water in the pool was Cold so we didn’t use the pool.

If the pool was heated and with a spa would have been perfect.

Loved the room and the view and the location was walking distance to most things

Good location and very comfortable apartment.

Very comfortable bed and apartment that was spacious and well equipped. Some sea views. Great location for what we needed, close eateries. Very quiet. I would stay again.

We should have booked an apartment actually facing the ocean. There were some sea views from the ‘sides’ of the apartment but not facing the beach as such. The smelly and not clean cupboard holding the hot water system.

A good location and good value for money.

The property is in a good location with plenty of shops and food outlets. Overall the apartment was very goox.

The pool was not available for two half days of our trip there. The WiFi was inconsistent in the apartment and the signal needs to be boosted.

Booked for 4 adults but was allocated 1 queen 1 single with trundle, which was not suitable for our ages. This apartment was very nice but just not suitable, we were allocated another room which was a very poor apartment in comparison for the money.

The bed was comfortable and the room clean.

The room had a dangerous electrical fault such as power wall socket hanging out of the wall no management or any one on duty at the weekend.

Little extras like the Expresso coffee appliance and the coffee capsules provided. Having a great Italian restaurant in the same building was a bonus.
