Very nice breakfast. Enjoy it very much. Most friendly hostess
In our case, nothing

I had a great experience communicating with the hotel prior to my stay. The interior design was very pleasing and the overall atmosphere of the hotel was enjoyable.
The bedroom and bathroom are separated by glass walls, which means there is no privacy from the other guest.

The breakfast was incl. and it was really good. The host is very nice and attentive. The building has charm.
A few extra towel hooks would be good.

The Stay was good . And the Staff was friendly. Breakfast was also good.
The toilet didn't had a door. It was a bit awkward. Other than that everything was well arranged.

The restaurant on the property was great, the chef was helpful and nice to chat with.
The room had white shutters on the windows that look out towards the side of the house with many, many lights that stay on all night. The lights are purely decorative and even after the restaurant closed the lights stayed on all night. Easily solved with black out curtains which every room seemed to have but ours. No hand soap, but 3 tiny bottles of shampoo. Nothing to do in the town so only arrive to sleep and bring a sleeping mask! Picture is a view from the bed at 2am.

Unfortunately, I stayed one night in this hotel.
It was horrible - if you have a different choice, then don't stay here!
There is no reception and no service available during your stay. They will not apologize for any inconvenience or refund anything.
The room I stayed in was on top of a steep stairs, which they told me is due to this being a monumental building.
It is very dangerous - be warned.
Also, you can hear EVERYTHING that the others guests do. And I do mean everything. From farts and toilet flushes to arguments and squeaky beds. Again, they told me due to the fact that this is a monumental building.
You can also hear EVERYTHING from outside. I've slept outside, but it wasn't as noisy as this.
Once again, this is a monumental building...
However, the night I stayed there, there was a party going on in the room next to mine.
First of, these guests couldn't find their room, so they casually unlocked mine at 1am. They were somewhat inebriated, so it's not their fault that their key actually worked on the wrong door....!
When they finally found their room, on the other side of the building, they proceeded to turn on the music and continue their party.
However, I was trying to sleep, so I went to find a way to contact the property to inform them. There was a land line phone in the room, so I tried the contact provided in the information package from the room. Dead number. Not to be reached. Then I tried to contact the number that contacted me about my stay. No answer.
I was tired and found no other contact information, so I kept that number posted by sending several messages during the night.
I couldn't sleep. The music nextdoors went on until 6am!
So, I have spend that night 5 hours looking around the room.

We wanted a romantic weekend and booked the Honeymoon suite. What a super room! We loved it. The breakfast was super. fresh pastries, eggs, muesli with fresh fruit and orange juice. The night before we had dinner in the restaurant and found the small cosy personal atmosphere prefect for what we wanted. Service was great and the food was also good. There is not alot to do within walking distance- but for a romantic night out this place was perfect. A true hidden gem.
We found the room a little too warm, and couldn't find the temperature controls in the middle of the night. The next day the owner showed us where it was - problem solved!,

authentic
indeed a bit noisy, but the host informed us and proposed an upgrade… did
not go for it because we liked the bed under the old wooden roof!

The noise from outside. And staircase up to the room. Horrible

Breakfast not available until 10am so didn’t get any as off to Schipol.

the honeymoon room + garden room + gold room were beautiful, very clean, great bed. very unique location. i think if you're with 2 people its great.
in a boutique hotel i would expect great service. it didn't feel like that. i understand they were very busy, but because of that we felt very unwelcome. we were with 12 and didn't really know where to go. some rooms were ready some were not. some rooms were amazing, but one room was only accessible through a very very steep ladder and the apartment for 4 persons was just with 1 kingbed in a bedroom and 1 sofa bed in the livingroom.

Very comfortable bed & sofa bed. Breakfast was excellent every morning.

Great hotel staff, very good food for dinner and breakfast.
Stairs leading to hotel room were very narrow and hard to put travel bags but I was advised about this when booked my room.
4.3
Excellent spot! The apartment we rented was perfect and so well equipped. Interior was pretty and everything was really clean and neat. The breakfast is served in their on-site restaurant. Really good continental breakfast - they even made effort with our baby and prepared a few things for him. We also had dinner at the property - the food is amazing! Really quant and lovely location to visit!

it was very clean, super nice facilities and in-house restaurant. Room was of exceptional standard and lovely to look and stay at. Staff was superb.
4.3
The staff (especially Kim) is very nice and helpful. Very nice restaurant with a delicious cuisine.
Very noisy environment, no soundproofing. You can hear a lot of motorcycles noising 24 hours around the clock. On Sundays: the bells from the church across the road wake you up early and do not stop.
It could be nice to add some vegetables and omelets to the breakfast.
4.3
Super big room, extra large bed which was super comfy. Good breakfast in beautiful refurbished barn. Issue with booking but staff was very reactive and upgraded my room to a suite. Hotel is peaceful and quiet, but close to all amenities.
Issue with last minute booking: room booked at lunchtime for the same day but no staff present on site when I arrived at the property at 5pm. However the staff was extremely reactive and arrived within 10 minutes to check me in.

And the restaurant is super goed! They made very delicious food and desert!
