it’s in a lovely village, with nature accessible via the garden. Francesca was so nice to welcome me personally. Nicely renovated.
think it’s important to give honest review.
Anyone can value the pictures.
So try to review what you cannot see.
First of all, the road to get there is fine… if it would be one direction.
For several kilometers as well full of tricky curves so you can just hope not to meet someone going down - or vice versa.
Second: no number so you have to find your way in the village (it’s ca the 3 rd house on the right)
That’s still do-able but several things were for me not ok.
The space is not 100m2, at the most 60m2, Especially if you consider that the sleeping area is on the attic.
so most past you cannot stand straight.
And the two 2 persons bed is in one space, so zero privacy with two couples.
The sousterrain is cold in temperature and bare in atmosphere. And quite dangerous - low ceiling/small staircase - to get to.
So just a function to get to the garden.
The ground floor is the best one.
But the pellet heating makes enormous noise.
Asked about the fire place, but in fact not a real option.
And the awfull sound of the pellet heating makes you flee to the attic.
Where very unfortunate- sleeping (even if you are just with one person) - is hardly possible…
whenever you move the pillow the light switches on…
(about 30 cm from the matras).
Plus the two fierce burning lamplights on the street, give a fierce awfull orange light…
No drapes to prevent that..:
No drapes anywhere to prevent someone looking in as well…
besides the nice personal welcome by Francesca, there is no welcome whatsoever with bottle of wine, or piece of chocolate… Not even a bottle of water.
Since there is zero shop around in quite some miles.
And the road quite stressfull…
Extra minus.
Compared to many other lodgings in Italy, paying €80 for 1 person in the ultimate low season is - considering no breakfast or even a little something - very steep.
