We felt at home! The hosts are really welcoming, friendly and helpfull. The breakfast was varied and complete.
The area is quiet and peaceful. The bus stop is 2 minutes walk, very convenient for visiting Dublin.
We couldn't have asked for a better place were starting our first holiday in Irland!
Nothing!

Comfortable, vriendelijk, compleet

The experience was really nice! They provided with transport to and from the airport and on top of that a delicious breakfast with many options, so anyone eating there will be full after the breakfast! The staff is kind and helpful, so you have a great time staying there!
Everything was nice, only problem was that the room was a bit cold for a while but that was only because we didn't quite understand how the heating battery worked. So technically nothing bad since the only thing was something that there was a fix to!

Lovely host, very accommodating, had to get up and leave early the first day and they made sure to have breakfast ready. Comfy bed, close to a lovely little village but a bit further from town than I anticipated. Lovely and quiet area

Pat and Joan were lovely hosts. Pat met me at the airport which made my life a lot easier, especially after having the stress of my luggage not arriving with me. I found both Pat and Joan to be absolutely wonderful, a lovely couple.
The room was just as I expected. The variety of food offered for breakfast was exceptional. Beyond what I had expected.
There is a bus stop approximately 5 minute walk away which takes you into Dublin. I took advantage of this during my stay.
I highly recommend Beechtree House for you to stay at.

We had a very pleasent stay at Beechtree House. The room was nice, the breakfast good and the hosts, Joan & Pat, made us feel very welcome. Joan even waited up for us when we arrived very late due to delays on our airfare. Thank you so much. We can truly recommend to stay in Beechtree House!

Well! We loved EVERYTHING!!!!!! Breakfast was a feast fit for a king! The local village was amazing. Bus trip to Dublin town was easy and cheap! The bedroom was AMAZING! Biggest and most comfortable bed we have ever slept in! The shower was incredible! But what made our stay superb was Pat and Joan!!! Best people we’ve ever had the pleasure to meet on all our travels! Not to mention the cake Joan made for my hubby cos I mentioned it was his bday when i booked our stay! We actually can’t wait to go back. Btw we even picked us up and dropped us back to and from the airport!!! You won’t get better than this! They will always be our friends from now on! Thanks guys. You are just GREAT!!! Xx
ABSOLUTELY NOTHING!!!

Cosy and well appointed room with garden acess. Quiet neighborhood in walking distance of the charming village of Lucan. Easy drive in to Dublin City. Joan and Pat were excellent hosts, very personable and accommodating without being overbearing at all. Absolutely would recommend and will stay here again when in the area.

Everything and our host in particular ! It has been one of our best moments of our trip thanks to the warm welcome and the perfect recommendations given by Joane. And a super breakfast on top.

The property itself is beautiful (a family home of ‘empty-nesters). We had a self-contained apartment, which was separate to the main house. The apartment was outstanding & beautifully decorated. Our hosts (Joan & Pat) have thought of everything: so much food that we couldn’t eat it all. A few little ‘gifts’.
They were both really helpful with suggestions of what to do, where to catch buses, etc.
There was absolutely NOTHING TO NOT LIKE. If someone could find fault here, they wouldn’t be happy ANYWHERE!

If you want to feel genuinely welcomed, and like a part of a family, stay at Beechtree. Joan picked me up from the airport and I was greeted with a warm hug. She also informed me of the easiest way to get around and assisted me in buying a transit card for visitors. This was life saving and wallet friendly.
Her and Pat have created a wonderful place to stay while visiting Ireland. I was traveling alone so feeling safe was the most important thing for me. That is exactly how I felt during my stay. The single room I booked had a double bed and a shared bathroom that I never had to wait even a moment to use. While I was out in town one night I sent a late message to Joan about when the bus stopped running and she replied instantly with info about an all night bus and when the bus number changed after midnight.
One morning I woke up late and she felt terrible they had put breakfast away, her and Pat offered me fruit or a bar just anything for me to eat. They were amazing hosts and I will recommend them to ANYONE traveling to Ireland. Genuinely grateful for finding this gem.

Super clean, great breakfast and comfy room.
A bit out of the way but 15 minutes walk to the shops is ok.

The house is beautiful on a quiet street with easy access to the highway. The hosts were friendly and helpful and went above and beyond to make our stay wonderful. We would definitely recommend it to anyone traveling to Dublin. Thank you so much Joan and Pat.

Our room had a private entrance with a kitchen. We had a fridge, microwave, toaster, egg cooker and coffee maker. It was stocked with milk, orange juice, yogurt, cheese slices, ham slices, eggs, bread, jam, butter and cereals. This array allowed us to make our own breakfasts and light snacks. Pat was very helpful pointing out where to catch the bus downtown, C3 or C4. He recommended restaurants in Lucan and to buy a Leap card if you are going to use Dublin busses for a few days. The location is in a nice residential area. Very quiet, and a nice easy walk to the village.
An electrical outlet in the bathroom would be nice.

Joan is super friendly and the structure is very warm and cozy. Everything was perfect, the breakfast was delicious too. We really enjoyed our time there.

Pat and Joan were so kind and welcoming - every morning a lovely spread of all kinds of breakfast items were laid out in the kitchen (including delicious luxury yogurts!) Our room was indulgently comfortable - king size bed, a battalion of cozy cushions, and very tastefully decorated. Plus, the bus into Dublin city center was only three minutes walk away from their front door!

The properties ambient warmth and cosiness. The rooms are beautifully decorated.
I loved everything 🥰
