Nice place

We had a great time at this Chula Vista home. Access to 805 and 905 was ideal to get in and around San Diego.
The house itself was large enough for our family of 12 to spread out in. Each bedroom had one queen or king sized bed. There were air mattresses available as well, but when we were there they were not holding air well. Not a challenge for us, but might be something to check on if it's needed by your group.
The only thing mildly

Spacious, clean, great views to downtown San Diego and the Pacific coast line.

The view is beautiful, but indoor furniture and kitchen staffs need to upgrade, the quality is too bad ! And our group are alarms too cold at night but the manager doesn’t give us feedback!

This property was great for our family of 11. Dell, the property manager was great - very responsive when we needed something. There are so many cupboards and drawers in the kitchen, it was a little hard to find utensils and the pots and pans were a bit worn. However we made due and enjoyed our stay!

We loved staying here! The house manager Del was so helpful and was absolutely fantastic. Best house manager I’ve ever worked with. The pool and jacuzzi were amazing and so fun to swim and soak in. Del was right on top of making sure they were the perfect temperature for our group when we needed them. The house is spacious and suited us well. The only perceived improvement would be the beds….they are hard. If you like a really firm mattress, then you’ll be just fine. Everything else considered it was a great stay, and I’d probably stay there again.

Our Family vacation stay was amazing! We felt just at home. The house is beautiful and very spacious. Dell is amazing he was very attentive with our needs. He always made sure all pool was nice and warmed up for us everyday! We definitely recommend

Our stay was amazing. The check in process couldn't have been easier. Dell and Andrew were on top of our every request. We had a total of 14 people and between the 5 bedrooms and blow up mattresses there was plenty of room for everyone. The hot tub and pool were so much fun. We would definitely recommend staying here with a big group.

I was here on business with my team. This was a perfect location for us, and much cheaper this time of year than staying in a downtown hotel. This will be our go-to place when we return.

We had several issues with the house, none of which stopped us from having an overall good time.
Pros;
The house is situated on top of a hill in a nice neighborhood with nice views of the city lights, the ocean (far in the distance), and the Tijuana border.
Their was enough room for all of us to not feel crowded. It was close enough to Imperial Beach & Aquatica Park, but also far enough to not be overly crowded so we could have peace & quite when we were ready to get out of the craziness.
The pool & jacuzzi was good entertainment for the kids.
Cons;
Though the house is beautiful on the outside there are several problems.
The house wiring needs to be dealt with immediately. There are several outlets around the house that doesn’t work & many more that are so old that when you plug something into them the cord just falls out. Lights throughout the house didn’t work. Lights that did work downstairs would flicker every time somebody was walking around upstairs. In the master bedroom, there is a lighted mirror on the dresser that would flicker all by itself when something was being plugged into a different outlet on that same wall. The master bedroom ceiling fan is so out of balance that we couldn’t use it for fear of it falling out of the ceiling. The downstairs bathroom exhaust fan doesn’t work. The smoke detector in the downstairs bedroom was completely missing but the wire harness was still exposed. Both door pool alarms going into the backyard are disassembled & not working which is not good if you have little ones.
The master bedroom bed is not a King as advertised, but is a Queen. The bed frame made way too much noise when getting in or out of the bed or even just rolling over. I took the time to wire tie the bed frame together so it wouldn’t make any noise. The bed upstairs NorthWest bedroom is terrible. You can actually feel the bed springs coming through it. I had to go buy a 3” memory foam mattress & a topper pad to the tune of $200 just so the couple sleeping in that bed could be comfortable. All of the linens are really old.
The door knobs to the garage side door & both back doors do not work properly & if you didn’t use the deadbolt, then the doors would pop open.
The cleaning was only done around stuff.
The grill looks like it had not been cleaned in several months. It ignited a grease fire inside the grill as we where attempting to clean it.
Previous posts don’t lie & none of the items where taken care of.

The host is very accommodating. It would have been better if the pool and jacuzzi are well heated especially during cold season. But overall the place is perfect for small family gathering.

Good
The house was in a good condition, neat and tidy, no many concerns.
the water pressure in the mainly bedroom should be reviewed(too weak), and the propene tanks should be filled because I didn't have enough gas during my stay and I had to fill it from my pocket.
4.5
Overall it was a decent stay, the price for the stay I think was a little too high, the pool lights were broken so we didn’t get to use those, the grill was also super super old and it was breaking apart with rust, having to contact the pool guy everyday was a little inconvenient but they were good with communication, I think the view from the top was awesome but I didn’t enjoy how the master bedroom had the queen bed but the website says otherwise, I probably wouldn’t stay here again

Lots of space to spread out
The home is very large and clean. It allowed our family to spread out nicely.
There were a few things that indicated it's a pretty hands-off rental (mismatched utensils, mugs, plates, etc), but the kitchen had all of the needed elements. There is no door into the master bath which made the soaker tub less inviting to me personally, but to each his own. The bar is sunken, and we had a couple of trips, but the biggest annoyance was having to text the pool guy every time you needed him to turn the hot tub on and off. He was excellent about doing it, but we hated to have to bother him.
That being said, we enjoyed the BBQ, the hot tub, and walks through the neighborhood. A nice view from the back yard too.

Disappointed
I wanted a getaway in the ocean this property is nothing as described. It has no ocean view. To dip you toes in the sand like it says you have to drive 20 minutes. This property is in residential area it had no vacation feel to it. The beds are old. The pool was a hassle. You have to text the property manager every time you wanted the hot tub on. I would not recommend it to anyone.

Fun girls weekend
In general, the home is fine for a quick stay and has a California style feel, spacious, and with a great view . I would not recommend for a longer stay. Unfortunately, the overall cleanliness of the home and quality of interior Decour is unsatisfactory. The beds are very uncomfortable and need new mattresses. The dishes were dirty upon arrival.

Great neighborhood and spacious vacation home
This home is located in great neighborhood. Very good for multiple families vacation. Property manager is reachable by text messages and very prompt. Kids had lots of fun in poolOverall we enjoyed this place thoroughly.

Great Vacation Property
The house had lots of room for a big group. The host was very helpful and very good at communicating. We love the house and the area of San Diego. No backdoor neighbors and the view was perfect. The pool and hot tub were great! It was clean.
The kitchen not quite as well stocked as far as tools. We could have used more towels between showers and the pool. The hot tub was not hot unless we texted and asked for it to be turned on, which was inconvenient. Would have been nice to be able to control this ourselves. We could never find the lights for the outside gazebo.
Overall it really was a great place for a getaway.
