Las Palmas Resort is located on Sandy Beach in Puerto Penasco, (Rocky Point), Mexico. The resort includes our condo for vacation rental. The private resort is a gated-community with full-time security, 3 pools, Jacuzzi's, 2 waterslides, clubhouse, restaurant, swim-up bar and a spectacular oceanfront view of the Sea of Cortez. Unit is very clean with modern amenities.

The Space:
The private resort is a gated-community with full-time security, 3 pools, waterslide, clubhouse, restaurant, belly-up bar and a spectacular oceanfront view of the Sea of Cortez. Maximum occupancy is 6 people. $40 USD per night for extra persons up to 8 total.

This property is exactly how it's described - clean, great layout, ocean view, and very convenient location. We had four adults and 2 teens and everyone was comfortable. Tom was also very responsive and responded to questions immediately.

We had an amazing stay at Tom’s Las Palmas condo. It was great for our family of 6. Plenty of room and comfortable beds. Tom was a great host. Easy to communicate with and made sure we had everything we needed. The only problem we had was with the resort, they closed the pool for two days of our stay. The kids were disappointed, but we were able to play at the beach or it would have been two very long boring days. Overall, we had an amazing time and hope to make this an annual vacation!

We enjoyed the accessibility to the Taco stand, coffee and juice stand, multiple bars, restaurant and small store. It is also in walking distance to shops and other restaurants. The beach was clean and not crowded for Spring Break.

I loved our unit it had everything we needed, kitchen was very stuck, it was clean, ocean view with great large balcony. Property was great for kids 9 and 3 yo. Had two large slides and one small slide. Separate adult pool overlooking the ocean. Walking distance to restaurants. I felt safe due to security guard being on duty 24/7. We had a great stay and I will def stay here again.

The room layout was nice with a nice view and many amenities were provided from the kitchen and going to the beach. The mattresses were far to hard and the AC in the west bedroom made a constant squeek and rumble noise. I got very little sleep for the four days but I'm a light sleeper. We had a nice time and the grandson and his parents liked the kids pool.

Our condo was very nice and had everything we needed for our week’s stay. The resort had wonderful pools for the whole family. Water slides for all and an adult only area which was very nice. Thankfully, enough beach chairs for all of the adults, and a wagon to get those and all of our items to the beach, all provided. There was also an insulated bag to keep drinks and food cold. We also had beach towels. All of these items were very much appreciated. It was clean, beds were very comfortable, and room for everyone. There was a nice private area just outside our sliding glass doors which included a sitting area, as well as table and chairs for eating. We were able to text or call anytime we had any questions and we had prompt responses. We will keep this place in mind for our funture vacations.

The place is super clean and very spacious, I loved the place everything that we need is within reach, we enjoyed drinking the complementary coffee, and I think it's much better if I will also get text messages regarding the doorlock code and some other reminders incase i don't get the info from the website. Over all are really great and I definitely will come back.

The property was well kept but some maintenance issues were a bit behind. It is a good and comfortable space and really an easy walk to the beach. Parking was good too.

It was OK!

We come to this resort every 2 to 3 months. This room was great for accommodating our family. However, the bed in the master suite is so uncomfortable and extremely loud that i would not recommend staying here for that reason only. We have a 5 month old and I couldn't even use the restroom in the night because it would wake up the baby. I didn't get much sleep because of how uncomfortable the bed was. My husband has a bad back and he had to sleep outside on the patio chairs. Other than that, we are pretty simple and had a great time.

We enjoyed Las Palmas. The grandkids spent most of their time at the waterside. Swim up bar in the adult pool was nice. Very friendly and accommodating staff. We want to go back when the ocean temp is warmer. We recommend Las Palmas and don't forget Wrecked at the Reef.

If you're looking to visit a resort and enjoy the amenities, this is not the one. Not one thing was open. They even said the main pool was heated and jacuzzi. They had them all covered up with plastic and nobody working the pool bar nor the restaurant nor the coffee house very disappointing. Had to utilize another resort's amenities. Thankfully we were able to get passes from a friend, which was not easy. Otherwise we would have had zero fun.

Very good stay. We stayed just for a night as i booked this for a fam of 6. It was most of the familys first vacation home rental and they were amazed. The Condo had everything and was very good size for a fam of 6. I would definetly book again.

This place was amazing! First time staying at las palmas and Tom made it super easy figuring everything out! Rooms were good sizes and plenty of space for the 6 of us. The only thing was the pull out bed in the couch didn’t work but didn’t dull the trip. Definitely will stay here again!
