Very unique B&B that I can highly recommend to anyone who wants to have a different hotel experience. The view from the castle that is attached to the B&B is just beautiful and the host, Marianna, was super super nice and always helpful when we had questions. <3

A beautiful and quiet location, not too far from La Spezia and Cinque Terre. The room is beautiful and large overlooking the courtyard. It is an ideal place if you are looking for a romantic getaway for two in a quieter place. The breakfast is fantastic, our host served home made foccacia!

A great place for all those who value peace and quiet. Access from the highway is relatively easy and even at night rather hassle-free. Nice owners who don't make a problem checking in after official hours. Besides, staying overnight in the castle is an unusual occasion, so I recommend it.
Unfortunately, neither in the castle nor in the village itself there is no restaurant. However, the owners recommended us Ristorante Bernardi (10 minutes by car), which serves very tasty food.

The hosts were really nice and kind and the place beautiful. We were able to visit the castle and have very interesting explanations about the region. We took this accommodation to visit Cinque Terre. It was convenient and very pleasant.

A magical night and an unforgettable experience to sleep in a place full of hundreds of years of history is something you do not live every day and at least for one night I had the feeling that I live in other times. Everything was wonderful: the dream location, the possibility to visit every corner of the castle, the very kind host, the delicious breakfast, both with salty and sweet products. For dinner, the host recommended a local restaurant, Bernardi, about 5 km, but it was worth it all the way there. Everything was great. If I had known how wonderful it is, I would have booked for at least 2 nights, but unfortunately we only stayed one because we had planned to visit more places. I hope I will have the chance to come back!!!
Everything was just perfect.

Best breakfast during our whole stay in Italy. Unique hotel right under/next to a castle which can be visited even at night (the castle is part of the hotel). Beautiful view over the village from the castle top. Lovely host! Unfortunately we stayed only one night, we would have loved to stay longer.

Hidden in the green mountains and hills of Lunigiana, right at the foot of a castle lies this little and wonderful B&B inside a beautifully restored century-old housing complex. The hosts are a very charming family, who also rebuilt and craftly arranged the castle. The castle itself is a highlight, can be visited and offers a unique view above the adjacent village - and into the past.
Another highlight is the breakfast with typical local food, freshly cooked and served by the friendly and helpful hosts.
It‘s a perfect, quiet hideaway about a 0,5 hour drive away from La Spezia or 1 hour from the Cinque Terre.

A fantasticly designed suite in a cozy B&B placed at the castle entrance. Everything was very clean. Wonderful home made breakfast. A great experience living in a castle. A very friendly young host who is always at your service. A place is reachable by car only.

Special, interesting location, hotel inside a medieval castle. Very kind staff, comfortable clean room. Value for money. The house is restored carefully and with a style.

The host gave us a fantastic private tour of the castle tower in the evening with the story of the family and how the castle hotel was born. The view from the roof is magnificent with view of Alpi Apuane and Appennini.
We brought our own food on one of the open terrace at sunset and we loved just to sit with such a fantastic view of the surrounding nature (the forest/hill around the castle), there was a very special atmosphere and we really enjoyed this experience. The place is quiet and you hear the music of the nature.
The host has a very nice and well educated dog, and a baby cat, we looked for the cat who was lost amongst the castle and finally heard the miao and we were able to get it. There was a very familiar atmosphere with the host and she made us feel at home and relaxed.
The view from the castle at sunrise on the valley and the rays of the sun on the mountains and the music of the nature are breath-taking, it is a very refreshing and exceptional experience.
The room was super clean, quiet and bed very confortable.
At breakfast the host served us bread made warm on the spot, we liked it.

The staff was very friendly and welcoming. The location rather exceptional. The room is clean and comfortable though not very big. Our two pets were very happy there and were very welcome. Very quiet place and great for walks. Pity we could not stay longer as we were passing through.

Dramatic location. The house is actually inside a medieval castle and the free tour of this is charming.

It was an amazing experience to sleep attached to a castle. The rooms where super clean and prepared with best care and attention. We were given a detailed tour of the whole castle, which was freely accessible during our whole stay. Being on the top of the tower was a wonderful experience, enjoying the fresh wind and wonderful view from high up. The beds were particullarly comfortable. Breakfast was very tasty pleasure with fresh pastries.
