Nice people and clean

I wish the window would’ve had a second curtain on it… It either was a blackout curtain or everybody upstairs could walk by and see right in my room. I would’ve loved to been able to kerp the window open with fresh air, but not had a blackout curtain.

A clean comfortable room with a great décor. Easy accessibility. Centrally located to all major restaurants. Helpful staff. Great shower controls.

Place was understaffed and the receptionist was also the go to person for everything. Don't like bathrooms that have a handbasin outside the bathroom.

It was a comfortable stay in a convenient location.

The bed was very comfortable. Decor was woodsy and cozy.

There was no security lock or ironing board or iron. Check out time of 10 am is earlier than most places.

We had reservations for 3 days, but left after one. The staff did refund the other 2 days.

The staff was nice.

Couldn’t get the TV to work, dead bolt on door broken, the bed was beyond bad, and the pillows smelled like dirty old men had been sleeping on them for the last 20 years.

Can't say we didn't enjoy our stay, but some things at the Ponderosa Motel could have been better.

Very friendly and helpful desk clerks. Good coffee in the lobby in the morning. Room was neat and clean. Fun streaming selections on the tv. Location was centrally located.

The log furniture looks appropriate for the lodge looking motel, but it was very difficult and very uncomfortable to lean against the bed's headboard to watch tv, especially since there were only 3 pillows for two people in a king sized bed. Also, the housekeeper was very pushy when insisting the Sunday check out was 10am without exception.

It was pleasant. And the landscaping was immaculate in and around town. Impressive.

Staff was really great. Super nice people. They were all very helpful. All of them. Especially Teresa. Salt of the earth.

The beds need to be updated. Mattresses and bedding and price needs to come down just a little...

Booking dot com *** has software that is not seamless with motel staff. Failure to respond to reservations in queue to prevent overbooking. Look at improving communication with email and follow up to confirm bookings.*** Please look into the system to protect guests from being put out.

great option to stay close to mountains

excellent location close to Wallowa mountains. Very well equipped room and cozy bed. super friendly staff, good option for breakfast. great internet. Much recommended if you plan to stay in the area.
