While the listing is “accurate,” the condition of the property is poor. The heating system was not working properly.I contacted the owner, and he did respond by changing the thermostat remotely, then came over when it still didn’t work, and brought blankets. He was a little rude about it, though. We never really got warm; slept in jackets and double socks. There was a leak under the master bath lavatory that soaked the rug, so I stepped on a cold, wet rug in my socks when I first got up. It had clearly been leaking because someone had put paper towels in the cabinet to soak it up and there was mildew. The bed in the master did have the listed foam pad, but it was the most uncomfortable thing I’ve ever tried to sleep on. There wasn’t a skillet in the kitchen that wasn’t warped. The provided dishes, utensils and pots and pans were all poor quality. The refrigerator started making a loud noise on the first day, although it did work. The ice and water dispenser didn’t work, but there was a fresh bag of ice. No eggs or butter as listed, though. The steps down to the bedrooms were very short and steep. Impossible to navigate for someone with mobility issues. The user friendly shower was in the master, down two sets of steps. It would be a nice place if it was better maintained.

Very nice property! My family, and In-Laws traveled out to Texas for a wedding. The house was clean and very well kept. Mark was very nice and accommodating. We had a couple requests that came up, and he was very quick to get back to us. Was a little cold for the pool, but the hot tubs were nice!! We would definitely stay here again when we make it back out this way!!

All my sisters had a wonderful time, the property is in the middle of all the activity in Wimberley, so getting around was easy. Mark was very responsive to our needs and easy to contact. The hot tub was especially inviting after a long day shopping.

As soon as you walked into Marks place you felt like home! It had everything you needed and more. An amazing back patio for great conversations with friends and relaxing times in the hot tub. We stayed with a couple so we each had our own space with a bedroom and bath so worked out perfect! Wanted to share a good note about our hosts at Wimberley. Somehow the black basket for our friends cooler and the 3 cigars were left behind. They contacted Mark our host and they mailed them that day. Great customer service! Would highly recommend this place to anyone staying in that area.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Casa Grande. Very roomy and was well supplied with everything for our stay. The area is quiet and yet close to towns/cities for daytime activities. If the need ever arises we would welcome another stay there. Mark was very helpful throughout the process.

Hill Country Paradise
Beautiful home located in the heart of the Wimberley. This spacious home delivers everything as promised plus much more. The tree lined trail leading to the salt water pool and sun deck was amazing. The pool was cool and refreshing. The deck had several super comfy chairs. The back courtyard had a private hot tub. The home itself was tastefully decorated and had lots of extras. Mark and Kimberly were fantastic and thoughtful hosts. I highly recommend this as the best place to stay in the Texas Hill Country.

Fantastic property to stay at while visiting Wimberley!
If you're looking for a fantastic property that has all the amenities you'll need for a short or long stay and is located near everything you'd want to do, this is your place. The rooms are large, the furniture is very nice, beds are comfortable, and the place is very well kept. The outside patio is huge with lots of seating and night lighting. Great for a large gathering. 5 minutes from downtown and stores. The fridge was even stocked with breakfast supplies and drinks in case you didn't get a chance to stop before arriving. Will definitely book this property again if we go back to Wimberley.
