The Mediterranea is an exciting, upscale 4 story luxury gated condominium resort located on the beach with breathtaking views of the emerald-green waters of the Gulf of Mexico. The Mediterranea is indeed special and features gorgeous, manicured gardens, a huge pool in the center of the complex, community clubhouse, fitness center, underground parking and a gazebo which leads to the beach. This complex is by far, the classiest in all of Destin!

Our exquisite 2 BR/2.5 BA remodeled unit will sleep 8 comfortably and is located on the West end of the complex, which is perfect for watching those amazing sunsets! You have breathtaking Gulf views from anywhere in the condo including the large wrap-around balcony where you can drink your coffee or sip your wine while you watch for dolphins, listen to the surf or take a swim in the huge pool which is located in the center of the manicured grounds. This unit now comes with free beach service (2 chairs and 1 umbrella) beginning in early March until October 31.

Our condo is in pristine condition and features a brand new kitchen with new white cabinets, tiled back splash, granite counters and brand new stainless appliances. The living room is styled with comfort in mind with a cozy reclining couch, a large flat screen tv and plenty of seating for a large family. The master bedroom is very classy, includes a king size bed and comes with its own master bath. The master bath has a jetted tub, separate shower, dual sinks with granite counters and build-in makeup dresser. The second large bedroom features a queen bed AND full size bed and also comes with its own bathroom. There is a half bath in the hall for guests. There is a blow up queen bed (that you conveniently plug in) instead of a pull out couch!

Unit 312D truly comes with everything you need to have an amazing vacation including three TVs, free high speed wireless internet, full size washer and dryer in its own laundry room, and a fully equipped kitchen.

The Mediterranea is located just steps from Pompano Joe's on Scenic Gulf Drive, and convenient to restaurants, golf courses, movie theaters, water park, Outlet Mall, Destin Commons, the Harbor Docks, the Track, numerous Arcades, and tons of shopping!

The condo was beautifully decorated and very clean. It had all the comforts of home while on vacation. The kids loved the private beach (an easy walk across the street) and the pool. Great location – easy access to 30a and Destin but on a quieter beach. We’ll keep this in mind for future vacations.

We didn't want to come home. Mediterranea 312D did not disappoint at all. Condo was in perfect location close to everything and it was well maintained. Owner was very professional and made the rental process easy. We will be back for sure!

We had an excellent stay at this beautiful and conveniently located property. We loved the view from every room and the balcony. The location was great. Close to Destin, but a little less crowded and the beaches were beautiful. Pool was huge with lots of seating which was also very nice. We would definitely rent here again.

Loved seeing the Gulf from our balcony and walking across the street to the sand and waves. Also enjoyed being able to walk to restaurants (several which we went to more than once.) Owner was very responsive to a minor problem even though we said we could live with the issue for several days. She had a contractor out in a couple of hours. Condo was comfortable, well layout and loved the reclining sofas. Would rent it again.

We celebrated my 50th birthday at the Mediterranea. We loved this condo. It was clean, the furniture was comfortable, and the kitchen had everything you need. We have stayed at the Mediterranea several times over the years and have never been disappointed. We thought this was the best room we have stayed in a the Mediterranea. We have already booked again.

Very nice place to stay we loved this room! Loved that they had a vacuum to clean sand and floors up. The pool was clean up until the end it was a little dirty, but overall very nice place.

The kids had a great time at the pool. The location is just about perfect. Felt like home away from home. Only thing I could have asked for- maybe some beach towels and a hair dryer? We bought some so it was no big deal- have had some properties in the past provide them. Donna was great. Property is gorgeous and upscale. We loved it!

The cleanliness of the condo was the first thing we noticed and is very important to us. The kitchen was well appointed and had a nice pantry to store groceries. It always makes me nervous to rent through VRBO because we’ve been let down upon arrival in the past, but if anything, the pictures of this unit don’t do it justice. It’s even better in person! The view (ocean and resort pool) from the balconies is amazing. We saw maintenance working on the beautiful grounds our entire stay. Having chairs and and an umbrella ready for us on the beach each day definitely spoiled us. It’s easy to get in and out of the gated entrance and assigned parking space, and the unit is convenient to so many trendy restaurants and shops. We would definitely stay here again!

Our stay at the property was great! The unit was spacious for our family of 4 and generally clean (hard to keep some of the sand at bay!). The pool and easy access to the beach were awesome! I only have two recommendations; the unit needs oven mitts!! We cooked in most nights and could not find any oven mitts, also a pizza cutter would be great too:) Only other recommendation is the mattress in the master bedroom. I'm not sure if it's because it's memory foam or it's very old but it was so uncomfortable, laying down, our feet were actually above our head, we ended up sleeping at the other end of the bed for more comfort! Other than that, great stay and very easy access to beautiful pool and beach! Thanks so much!

Condo 312D was beautifully decorated, very clean and well stocked with all the cooking and entertainment items we needed. The grounds are secured, well lit, quite and relaxing. We’ve been going to the Destin area for 40 years. The Mediterranea is our favorite place to stay because it is very well kept up, clean, has nice amenities and is in a beautiful area and close to everything. I hope when we return we can stay in 312 again. It was very comfortable and beautiful.
