Looking for an exclusive Corolla Beach destination? “Sweet Home Carolina” is your choice, located in the carefully manicured and landscaped Buck Island, a one of a kind gated community on the Outer Banks. The house is beautiful with tasteful décor, and granite and stainless steel in the kitchen. The top-level master has a huge rain shower plus a soaking tub. Other bedrooms are masters with their own private bathrooms and deck access. The rec room has a pool table, and the ground level media room with easy to use LCD TV gives everyone a space to enjoy games and movies.
Buck Island is centrally located in Corolla across from Tim-Buck II Shopping Center. A beautifully landscaped community, it sits right on the ocean and offers many community amenities such as an olympic size pool, kiddie pool, basketball half-court, beach cabana with rest rooms and showers. Beach and cabana services are available for a fee. There is also a lighted oceanfront walkway and oceanfront pergolas to enjoy the ocean view while there.
Top-Level: Great Room with TV, Gas Fireplace, Kitchen with 2 Dishwashers and Bar seats 5, Dining Table seats 12, Loft with Seating, King Master Bedroom with TV, 2 Sink Vanity, Soaker Tub, Tile Shower with Dual Rainfall Shower Heads, and Deck Access; Half Bathroom on Landing.
Mid-Level: King Master Bedroom with TV, Shower with 2 Seats, and Deck Access; Master Bedroom with Duo Bunk/Trundle, TV, and Deck Access; Queen Master Bedroom with TV and Deck Access; Queen Master Bedroom with TV, Shower with 2 Seats, and Deck Access; Queen Master Bedroom with TV, Shower with 2 Seats, and Deck Access.
Ground-Level: Rec Room with Pool Table, TV, Kitchenette, and Access to Patio leading to Gated Pool Deck, Hall Half Bathroom, Media Room, Laundry with Washer, Dryer, and Laundry Sink, Master Bedroom with 2 Twin Beds and TV.
Extras: Private Pool (28 x 15), Hot Tub (6), Elevator, Wireless Internet Access, Pool Table, 2 Refrigerators, 2 Dishwashers, Gas Fireplace, Gas Grill, No Smoking, PETS NOT ALLOWED, Parking: 5 Cars, Distance to the Beach: 1750 ft.
Community Extras: Beach Cabana with Showers and Restrooms, Kiddie Pool, Oceanfront Pergolas and a Lighted Oceanfront Walkway, Olympic-sized Community Pool, and Community Tennis. Rental golf carts are prohibited and subject to removal at the renter's expense.
Additional amenity details:
Private Pools are open from May 3, 2024 until October 13, 2024 and May 2, 2025 until October 12, 2025. Pool heat is not an option for this property. Hot tubs are available year-round. Gas fireplaces are shut down from May 15 until September 15.
All Outer Banks Blue properties provide bed linens and bath towels for a small fee added to every reservation. We provide 1 bath towel and washcloth per advertised occupant. We provide 1 hand towel and 1 bar of soap per bathroom sink. We also provide kitchen towels. Beds are made prior to your arrival, and we provide a starter supply of toilet paper, bathroom soap, paper towels, and dishwasher detergent.
