We had a great stay at the cottage and loved walking to the river or to get coffee and ice cream in Yorktown. It was well-equipped, clean and quiet. Highly recommend for a getaway.

We were there for a few days to celebrate my mother’s birthday. We drove to Williamsburg for many of those festivities, but had lovely quiet moments in the cottage and walking around Yorktown. Management was very responsive to questions we had and was very proactive when the area was impacted by a severe storm. Definitely recommend for visiting the area and wanting a quiet place to relax. People staying in the other cottage were also very quiet and respectful of us so that added to the serene environment. Ample parking. Highly recommend.

The house had a slightly stale smell to it but overall wonderful

Very cute, cozy, spacious cottage. We lucked out with great weather to enjoy the quaint historic town. A walkable distance to the waterfront, but A free trolly is available to get around the town easier, and a stop is right out front from the cottage. The patio area at the cottage was a nice relaxing place to

The cottage is beautifully decorated and centrally located in all of the historic fun that Yorktown has to offer. Although the layout is accurately described in the listing, be aware that if you are an early riser, you will wake anyone sleeping in the reading nook or living area. The large living area has wonderful air flow, however, the bedroom does not. The cottage was very humid and sleep in the bedroom was hard to come by. There is an air purifier, but the cottage could benefit from a dehumidifier.

My family and I enjoyed our stay here in Yorktown. Since i have family in the neighborhood, we were able to visit and catch up. The cottage was super clean and very cozy and plenty of sunshine throughout the house. We felt very relaxed and hope to be back in the future. Thank you

A most perfect five night get away for us and our second visit to this wonderful cottage. Perfectly clean, well set up, comfortable, quiet, peaceful and happy. Plus, it is in a great location. We cannot wait until we return for a third getaway there.

We had a lovely time staying at the Yorktown cottage. Such a convenient location! Walking distance from Yorktown Beach and The Mobjack Cafe which is a great place to get breakfast and a treat! The cottage is a very clean, comfortable and cozy place to stay. I look forward to coming back!

In general very nice. Perhaps it was a longtime ago since anyone rented the property because it was very dusty on all floors. The dust flew around with the A/C on so that could have been better. Otherwise the cottage very nice furnished, felt like a home. Sofa bed by the window in the livingroom should be expected more as an extra bed than a bed to really use for a longer vacation, a bit wind from the window and nothing nearby to put clothes in. Kitchen small but nice. Does not include a dishwasher and therefore a bit more work to cook in the kitchen.

Two of us traveled to the area to visit a friend and planned to spend time together just catching up. The area is great for a morning walk. The York riverfront is just a few blocks away. The cottage is very tidy and stylish. Nice big gathering table and sitting area with great natural light. Hosts are super responsive.

The Yorktown Cottage was the perfect place to stay on our visit to the area, within walking distance to everything in YT, and an easy drive to Colonial Williamsburg. The cottage was immaculate and we really appreciated the no-shoe, no-pet policy as well as the air filter. Christie used Free & Clear laundry detergent for the sheets and towels, and dropped off additional bedding, so it's the perfect place to stay for those with allergies. We loved the decor, artwork and comfortable furniture. The cottage is light-filled and spacious with everything you need in the kitchenette. Our hosts were responsive, kind and very helpful. We will definitely be back!

My wife and I stayed in this beautiful cottage for 3 nights while exploring Yorktown, Jamestown and Colonial Williamsburg. The hosts were very accommodating and a pleasure to talk with. The Cottage itself is very clean, beautifully decorated and located in a great area very close to everything in the Colonial Triangle.

We loved our recent stay at this cottage. The cottage itself had everything we needed. Careful attention to small details for comfort. The house was very clean and nicely furnished. The location is super! Great historic village! Great shops and coffee in the village! Super art gallery. Very nice clean beach and walkways. Battlegrounds and museums very close. If you are looking for a quiet walkable safe getaway this is it. Owners were lightning fast with response to questions. I loved it and will be back.

We rented the cottage for my daughter’s wedding weekend. It was a lovely setting for the bridal party to get ready. The bride and groom enjoyed the next two nights there alone.

There aren’t many properties that are better in person than the pictures, but this is one! Just beautifully decorated and so comfortable. We stayed over the Yorktown Day holiday, and were literally two small blocks from the parade route. We would not hesitate to book here again. Loved our stay.

I cannot say enough about both of your cottages, absolutely beautiful! I found myself cleaning as we left your home as if it were my own! I hope you could tell that we were respectable and most conscientious to your beautiful property! I would love to come back each year to have a family gathering at a place I would call… a home away home!
Thank you again!

Although tropical storm Ophelia deterred us from most of our planned activities, this cottage was perfect! The proximity to historic Yorktown and the Yorktown Battlefield sites couldn’t have been better; it was also only a short drive to Colonial Williamsburg. The cottage was stocked with everything we needed for our quick stay and the owners were extremely quick to respond to any questions I had! We are hoping to visit Yorktown again and would definitely book this cottage again. Thanks for sharing your beautiful property with us!

We loved our stay at this cottage! Perfect for my husband and I and our 2 teenaged kids. Within walking distance to all the restaurants and shopping at the waterfront. We didn’t have to drive at all while enjoying Yorktown and the free trolley stops right in front of the house. Also within 15-20 minutes to Historical Williamsburg, Water Country, and Busch Gardens!! We would absolutely stay here again and will recommend to our friends!

We enjoyed ourselves here so much. The cottage is nicely decorated and very clean. We were very comfortable. We loved being able to walk around and visit different places without moving our car. Highly recommend! Will stay again if in the area.

Great location. Traveling with elderly great grandmother and two children. The cottage was perfect for four persons. Plenty of bathroom towels. The kitchen was nice for end of the day snacking and cooking up meals for children. Quiet location as well and very convenient to take kids on trolley rides to Yorktown for beach and ice cream.

All of my family loved staying here! Such a cozy and lovely location within in walking distance to local attractions - Yorktown Beach, the American Revolution Museum at Yorktown, Mobjack Coffee (delicious coffee and pastries), and more! We also enjoyed the games in the home. Didn't turn the tv on once! But it's there if you want it. We hope to stay again!

The location of this property is perfect for those who want to walk and also relax in a cozy private space on their vacation. The pictures are spot on as to the beauty and layout of this space. It was perfect for my husband and me. Kitchen was well stocked with any and all utensils (we stayed for 8 days) and the linens were plush. Communication with host was usually within minutes! If you are a couple visiting the historical triangle of J/W/Y, like to ride your bikes or are avid walkers like us….look no further!

I would highly recommend this property to all who wish for a peaceful and relaxing getaway! This cottage is an absolute gem! Our four-day stay seemed much longer as we were able to experience historic Yorktown by Segway, dining at waterfront restaurants, shopping at the weekend markets, and leisurely strolls along the quaint streets of Yorktown! This property is so convenient to the many points of interest in the area. We will definitely return!

Clean and great location . Only thing I wasn’t completely satisfied is bedroom needs a tv . Would recommend buying bigger tv for living room and move that tv to the bedroom. Other than that very nice stay .
