About this house rental
Enjoy Swedish style and tranquility at "Svartarp Gård", a converted farm located 16 km north of Åseda, in the famous Glasriket surrounded by several beautiful lakes and smaller ski areas. The house has a beautiful garden where you can enjoy a your meal, barbecue or drink your morning coffee outside.
A short walk takes you down to the water where you can swim and fish. In winter you can also ice skate on the frozen lake. The forest around the house is rich in berries and mushrooms. On quiet days, it is not uncommon to see wildlife up close.
The house, renovated in 2007, has two floors and a furnished basement, where you have plenty of space to socialize and also to sit together in peace.
On the second floor there is a large fully equipped kitchen, a closet, a bedroom with double bed, a dining room and a living room with TV and stereo. The windows face all directions and each offers views of the forest, red barns, garden and fields.
On the second floor there is a closet, two large bedrooms with double bed, a bedroom with two bunk beds and a terrace. The rooms are decorated in authentic Swedish style with decorative wallpaper and wooden furniture. All bedrooms have large windows and plenty of light during the day. Blinds can keep the light out when you want to rest. On the terrace there is a small table and a few chairs where you can sit and overlook the garden.
In the basement there is a bathroom with shower, washing machine, dryer. There is also a freezer and a microwave.
From the house you are close to many attractions and activities in Småland. The glass kingdom is interesting with art glass workshops and larger glassworks. Also take the opportunity to visit Astrid Lindgren's World and Vimmerby, among others.
In Åseda there is a good selection of stores and restaurants. A little further away are the two larger cities of Växjö and Kalmar.
