There were 11 of us. My husband and I took our family. It was expensive but well worth our 10 day stay. It's quiet and beautiful. There's a private beach within walking distance. We saw Hawaiian green sea turtles on the beach almost every day. This trip gave our grandkids memories that will last them a lifetime.
Our property manager Peter was available and quick to respond to any of our questions or concerns.
The only (but not really) downside is that the location is an hour away from Honolulu. But there is convent grocery shopping 8 minutes away.
Goodbye beautiful Hawaii. Aloha and Mahalo.

Our family of 11 rented this house for 8 nights, in May of 2024. When we first arrived, the house was a bit more outdated than the photos. The house was not Clean, the two lower bedrooms had an awful odor that was musty/mildew mold like. There was visible mold on the ceiling fan, exposed electrical wires, a broken patio door and areas that had clearly not been cleaned in some time. We rented this house as it claimed to have 6 bedrooms, however, 2 were unusable due to the smell. With concerns of safety/mold, we reached out to the owner immediately. The owner claimed to have a mold inspection completed, reporting there was no mold found and that we could go back into the house. They would not produce the report which we requested, not sure howe a mold inspection could be completed in 3 hours of our request, on a Saturday. They never offered to clean the house or make any other concessions. The owner was unwilling to refund any of our money, $26K. We were forced to find other accommodations and rented rooms at the Hilton Hawaiian Village, knowing that the owner would be difficult to work with, however, our family’s health and safety was of the upmost concern. There was no compromise offered by the owner, who clearly misrepresented the property. We have contacted VRBO 4 times now, before and since we left Hawaii, with no resolution. VRBO has reached out to the owner, and they have yet to respond. This owner is nonresponsive, and the property is a health risk. Renter Beware.

Place needs some repair, dishwasher wasn't working, shower in back bedroom was leaking, downstairs sauna and steam room wouldn't heat up ,which I needed as I twisted my back while there, .other than that the house is clean and amazing for the amount of people we had there, would like to do again in about 5years will keep your information. I have traveled quite a bit (Europe, N.A., Africa, & S.A.), but have never had such a bad experience with renting a home. We had an 11 hour flight to Hawaii, & when we arrived at the rental we found it filthy, infested with live cockroaches, & uninhabitable. The bedsheets were dirty, floors were dirty, sinks were dirty w/dead bugs, shower had drywall and debris from construction in it, toilet bowls were filthy, chairs had been broken & glued in an insecure way, coffee pot was filthy, dirty dishes in dishwasher with mold growing, stainless steel appliances in kitchen dirty, sand on floors & furniture, dirty rugs in bathrooms, dirty sippy cup under bed. I could go on, but you get the picture. We had to go to a hotel which required a 4 night stay because it was last minute. When we went back to the rental to get some refrigerated food we had left at the house we found broken glass near the front door (gravel area) and no way to clean it up thoroughly enough not to risk injury with barefeet or open shoes (the kind used in beach areas). We tried to work with the owner, but when the glass appeared, we just couldn’t risk getting injured in addition to the cockroaches and waiting on the house to get cleaned which still wasn’t done 2 days after we arrived. We did not go back. This was a miserable start to our vacation. The host did offer to give us money for a 5 star review We have too much integrity for that. The host refused to refund any of the cost of our 9 day stay. Costly to us

This house is under construction and this was not disclosed to me. The owner called to say that they had some vandalism but that everything was back in order except the glass railing on the back deck. She made us sign a waiver to go ahead with our rental. When we got there we found the glass doors on the oceanview deck were broken with jagged glass and had thick sheets of plastic that we were not able to open.
The space under the house which was presented to me as a possible sleeping area for my grandsons was being used as a construction staging area with hanging wires, loose screws and nails on the ground and stacks of construction supplies some with sharp edges. We noted other signs of construction:
Our grandson punctured the sole of his foot with a screw left on the lawn. We had to check the carport and lawn to see if there were more.
The outdoor shower was littered with broken sheetrock and covered in sheetrock dust.
A painter showed up unannounced and painted downstairs in the carport during our occupancy.
All railings were missing and decks off bedrooms were littered with construction supplies.
A kitchen window was shattered with evidence of a BB shot hole, but was still in the frame. It could have easily been broken completely resulting in injury.
We found much more lacking and for the price we paid it was very disappointing. She offered $1000 back but that was not enough for all we found wrong and the lack of full disclosure by the owner.

We were looking for a place to take our entire family for a getaway, with most of them, this being their first time to Hawaii. With six bedrooms and amazing views of the ocean and mountains, it did not disappoint! Highly recommend this location!

Communication with management team was first rate. What was expected of us was communicated via phone, AND a comprehensive binder in the house. Questions were promptly answered. Lost internet and team was communicating with us immediately; fortunately, we were out for the day and it was back before we returned; the grandkids didn’t suffer withdrawal. Planning a vacation? Great location and property. Lots of beaches nearby. Groceries nearby. Planning on being a tourist? 1hr, or more, drive to all the major attractions—Cultural Centre; North Shore; Kualoa Ranch; Dole Plantation. We knew that going in so we were not surprised. Lots of room for our ten. Highly recommended.😃

Overall a nice experience and the ocean views were the best we’ve seen. Access to the ocean is easy walking distance - it’s a lagoon area that felt very private for our family. During our 7 day stay we saw (huge) turtles almost everyday. (There was a man (local) that lived in one of the houses in the lagoon - he very protective of the turtles. He would come out and yell at anyone that got too close. Not us, we read all the signs posted and stayed a respectful distance away from them.) This lagoon felt like our own little slice of paradise during our stay. We were glad the beautiful turtles had someone watching over them.
The house had plenty of towels for use, which we needed as we went to the lagoon everyday. (Unfortunately, 1 of the 2 washers broke, it leaked water on the first load I did on the very first day so we ran loads whenever able for towels. Property manager, mentioned a new washer was on order so future guests shouldn’t have the inconvenience).
There is plenty of parking and the house is large and literally the views were amazing. It was a great space for our family reunion.
Cons-
House is showing wear & tear. Washer/dryer that does work is beat up from lots of use.
Balcony doors that open WIDE for those amazing views is very difficult to slide and didn’t lock. Needed a padlock to lock the sliding door.
The automatic gate was lopsided like someone ran into it.
Bring your own paper towels and toilet paper with your supply run as there is little or no back up.
Hope this feedback helps future guests.

I found the process of renting the house to be very easy! The communication with the owner was great. The house was just everything! It was exactly as the pictures showed and more! It was love at first and last site for everyone in the group!

We had such an amazing trip! Our group had children as young as 3 and adults as old as 62 — everyone had something fun to do. The house was beautiful and clean with an amazing view! There was even a small area of lawn for the kids to play safely while we watched the waves crash on the rocks below. A couple of minor issues that were disclosed before our arrival to be aware of - one fridge does not cool completely and is really only for drinks, the back door does not lock properly because one handle is broken and needs to be closed with special lock and lastly the ocean view room has a screen door that does get caught and can be difficult to close (previous guest took it off the track). Also there is only one trash can and it is collected once weekly. This was slightly inconvenient as the previous guest had filled all the trash bins with the wrong rubbish. This was something that did take some time to sort through but again these were very minor inconveniences. The house was bright, decorated beautifully and did I mention, CLEAN!! There was space for everyone to spread out but could also come together at one of the dining tables, large sofa or outdoor furniture. Games were stocked for the kids and there was an abundance of water toys (boogie boards, snorkels, sand toys and floats). The views were stunning and it is only a short walk to the secluded beach right out the back door. We were able to sun bathe right next to beached sea turtles!! I would not hesitate to return to this location and highly recommend this stay to anyone looking for a once in a lifetime vacation.

This was the perfect place for our family that ranged from 2 mo. old to 86yrs.... The folks that couldn't be in the water felt like they were on the ship deck watching those that were...
Watching the turtles swimming in the water, the kids playing on the beach or in the yard, watching the sunsets after dinner, playing cards, relaxing in the many lounging opportunities... it all added to being able to relax right on site and not feel the need to drive all over. Though one day we did enjoy a drive to the Dole Plantation and the North Shore. You might check out the Mermaid Caves, just a few miles south, at low tide... pretty neat... Thank you for a wonderful place to stay for our last Hawaii trip with mom.

Overall I have to say the experience was positive but there are some recommendations want to mention for those visiting this home in order to have a more enjoyable experience.
Pros - great location to a small beach and on the water.
Nice yard space for events or people to spread out.
Great deck with dining table and seating.
Large kitchen to accommodate cooking.
Plenty of rooms for a large family or group of friends with bathrooms in every room.
Recommendations
For the price want travelers to be aware of the following:
There are only bath towels. No wash cloths or hand towels in the bathrooms.
They provide a small - single use bar of soap in the bathroom. So bring your own as there is no wash cloth for using body wash unless you bring washcloth too.
They have beach toys for kids and snorkel gear but only provided 10 beach towels and no chairs so we purchased some beach chairs and left for future guests to enjoy.
There are 2 washers and dryers but the set in the left doesn’t work well.
There is an extra fridge upstairs which we thought was nice but didn’t realize it only mildly cools (which owner was aware and didn’t advise) so all the meat, cheeses and items that could spoil did. Recommend only drinks in the white refrigerator.
The owner preferred communication via email but once emailed responds pretty quickly. Don’t try to text.
If you want to do anything in Waikiki, north shore or east side of the island be aware that it will be close to an hour or more drive due to the construction and traffic.
There is a grocery store less than 10 min called Tamura market which has some basics but recommend shopping in Ko olina for most of your items to get better selection and pricing.
Other recommendations for Oahu - if you want to go to USS Arizona memorial make reservations ahead of time. Kualoa Ranch has some fun activities, Waimea falls is a nice walk and swim in the falls. Up north of the house are 2 nice beaches we found that aren’t very busy Keawaula beach and Makaha beach park with nice tide pools for kids.
Enjoy your stay!

We had 12 people (6 couples) stay at this house and it was perfect. For the amount of people at the house you had plenty of space. Each room had its own bathroom and the view was outstanding. We watched turtles and whales swim by with our morning coffee. I have stayed on the north shore, Ewa Beach and near Waikiki and this has been my favorite spot.

The house was well maintained with a fully supplied kitchen. Bedrooms were large and comfortable, each with its own bathroom facilities. Very nice for a large group. Awesome views from the Lanai with the wonderful sound of crashing waves to nap to. The only way in is up a stair case so it was a little difficult for my father who is 80 but the house was nice enough he didn't mind. The beach adjacent to the property was nice but a nice easy walk, or easier drive 1/2 mile or less up the street was a huge beach that was empty most of the time. Spent a lot of time there. This is a house that was worth the price to my family and me.
