About this house rental
Historic restored home in the heart of the Delano district. Home is literally steps from a wide variety of restaurants and bars! Base pricing is for 4 people, space can accommodate to 12 people intimately. Four queen beds, a queen pull out leather sofa, a twin day bed, a queen bean bag bed (for kids), and 2 twin air mattresses. Long term option is available at discounted rate. Off street parking. We welcome everyone professional/leisure. We respect our neighbors NO loud parties! Breakfast not provided.

The home was very well kept inside and out. All the amenities are very nice with all of the items needed for meal prep. The location is 2 blocks from downtown and a lot of great restaurants. I recommend this property and very much enjoyed my stay! Thank you

We came for back-to-back weaving conferences and had a few folks for the whole time and some coming and going. So three of us were ultimately joined by up to five others. Winnie was great helping us sort out how to make it work with eight people our max night. She made sure that the extra beds were made up and that we had plenty of towels. The entry system was super easy for everyone.
We only had two bathrooms but we made that work, especially because we had night showerers and morning showerers.
The kitchen is well stocked with pots, pans, utensils, spices, coffee maker and basics. The dining table and counter chairs made our few meals together quite nice.
The washer and dryer were great and we put them to good use!
The location was super: within easy walking distance of the convention center and it was easy driving pretty much everywhere. There was a Braums two blocks away that was crucial for one of our guests who was addicted to their ice cream and cherry-limeades! And she got us a bit hooked!
If we had more time, we would have hung out in the lovely back yard but our schedules were too busy for much leisure time and it was mostly spent eating and sleeping! The beds were very comfortable and the showers were great!
My husband and I have stayed in a lot of HomeAways/VrBOs in the US and Europe and this one was right up at the top of the list for great hosts! It made everything easier and more fun! Our guests all appreciated the great choice we made!

It was like home away from home had everything you would need beautiful inside and out comfortable beds . If it was up to me this would be the place go to every time .

The location was adequate but I would rather have been in a less crowded area. The house itself was clean through and through. It was comfortable spacious and provided everything we needed in all areas of family living. In spite of the neighborhood, it was agreed that we would stay there again.

Good neighborhood near exploration place and the new library downtown. Cosy place with good set of kitchenware and a few pantry basics is great! Back yard area lovely with sitting areas (though sadly weather did not cooperate). Would definitely stay here again!

We loved the house, and we walked most places we went, lots of cute shops, restaurants and bakeries. There are 2 amazing dessert places right there. We really liked how they used the space in the house. We hope to come back next year during dance competition season! Host was very helpful and got back right away when I had questions!

This property was perfect for a weekend meeting that I, my brother and his wife, and my nephew had in town. Places to eat within walking distance. We also found pickleball courts within walking distance that we used in our down time. The property was as advertised. Nice back yard sitting area. The house was very clean and had all we needed inside. Will stay again.

We loved this house. Two bedrooms and a full bath downstairs and another bedroom with a full bath upstairs was a perfect layout for us. The house was spacious, clean and bright with a well stocked kitchen. Communication with the host was very easy and friendly! I'm sure we'll stay again.

The house was clean and cozy and beautiful. It was so inviting , and we loved the smell from the plug in lol! The art on the walls, the way it was decorated, the host was so kind and checked in on us, even wished us a Merry Christmas!
We loved the colors, the easy use of the appliances, to us, it was top shelf. They had everything we needed, even seasonings for cooking, detergent for cleaning, toiletries, clean towels, we absolutely loved it! We can't wait to come back. The location was very good, it was close to our family out there, restaurants, sight seeing, we have no complaints.

This is our third year staying at one of the homes hosted by Winnie and we can’t say enough about how much we enjoy staying. The house has all the extras you need. The room layout is perfect for a group to have space and also places to gather. A short walk to the river and so close to town and Braun’s. Thank you again!!

The house easily accommodated our group. Well stocked kitchen. Loved that there was a French bakery near by. Was great that a high chair and baby bed was provided for our use. Also, appreciated quality paper goods and shampoo/conditioner.

The house was spotlessly clean, furnished nicely with high quality mattresses... It was the best stocked & supplied Vrbo I have experienced, with extras of everything you might need. Plus it is adorable with an inviting backyard & patio we enjoyed relaxing on. Easy entry. Felt safe. Highly recommend!

Great property that we decided to stay at instead of another hotel. Room to stretch out in the house and it was stocked better than any VRBO I’ve ever been in. The beds were so comfortable and we enjoyed our stay there. A definite place I would stay at again.

This owner has gone above and beyond for their guest's comfort. Everything was neat and clean, seemed like it was new. We've never stayed at a guest/vacation place which was as well equipped as this one. We had local family over for dinner. The kitchen was a joy to work in with everything from spices and kitchen cooking tools to mixing bowls and a food processor. We'll be staying here for our next trip to Wichita.

This house had all the amenities and more. You don't need to bring a thing . I usually have to get coffee, coffee filters, paper towel, salt and pepper and a few other items, but not at this property.
Easy check in and location is near enough to a great exit on and off the highway.
We walked in downtown Delano and went out to eat several times. Walking distance to River and Museums.
Only concern was neighborhood is "up and coming" and there are people about without homes, but they seemed to stay mostly in the areas of the business district.
We did sit outside and felt safe but locking your home and car are always a good idea when you travel. We met some of the neighbors and they were very nice.
Beds were so clean and comfortable.
Winnie was so quick with her responses and texted me instantly.
I would definitely stay here again and urge anyone visiting Wichita to stay as well.

This house helped to make our Thanksgiving holiday a little more special! It is nicely updated and comfortable. Our hosts were super easy to work with and we would gladly rent from them again!
One word of caution: the stairs are a little steep going up to the bedroom upstairs. Just take your time using the stairs. My husband slipped going downstairs. (He was wearing socks.) He took extra care from then on out, and the rest of our stay was without further incidents. We truly enjoyed this home!

The VRBO property gave us a feeling of home, where we could enjoy visiting, eating and playing games. The sleeping arrangements were perfect for the four of us. Very comfortable accommodations.

Wonderful home that has been beautifully renovated. It was clean, comfortable and had absolutely everything we needed. Winnie was super attentive. We will definitely stay here again if we return to Wichita 😊

Summer vacation
Was a very nice place. Not far from Sedgwick zoo. We dated 2 nights to split up the driving on our way to moab utah. Clean, and the owners were very nice and communicated well

Home base
Our trip to Kansas was to have a celebration of life service for our daughter. We needed a home base that was comfortable for us to prepare for her service and have time together as a family. This space met all of our needs much better than a hotel room. .

Love this home!
We loved our stay at Winnie’s home! The house had everything we needed - even laundry detergent! - and was comfortable and stylish. We hope to stay there again next year when we are back for an annual event. Winnie was so easy to work with and responsive. You can’t go wrong staying here.
