About this house rental
A's by the Cove is ideally located in the heart of downtown Annapolis's Historic and Art Districts. It is a fully updated & detached home with historic charm and an inviting front porch. Well conceived and open floor plan to include a living room (with queen sleeper sofa), a dedicated workspace, 1/2 bath and eat in kitchen on the first floor and 2 bedrooms and a full bath upstairs. Enclosed rear yard provides an opportunity to create a lovely quiet space out our back door.
One parking spot (in a nearby by public lot - less than 60 yard from the house) is included with your rental, you can walk to West street, Main Avenue or the city dock all in less than 10 min.
The property is equipped with a RabbitAir Air Filtering device which allow the interior air to go through a 6-stage filtering twice every hour. it traps allergens & contaminants. It is certified Asthma & Allergy friendly.
A perfect location to enjoy Commissioning Week, Boat Shows and other festivals in Historic Annapolis.
A's by the Cove has a minimum age requirement. All adult members of your party must be 21 or older unless they are children traveling as part of a family group. Every guest must be registered and verified on your reservation. We have a strict no party or gathering policy.
Guest must sign Rental Agreement and provide Government ID.
Although you have access to the entire house and private backyard, there is one locked owner closet located in the living room.
Your arrival (and departure) are fully contactless. You will be provided with detailed check-in instructions the afternoon prior to your arrival including a code and/or mobile app to enter the home.
We are here for you during your stay, but our level of interaction is entirely up to you. We are only a phone call/message away and will respond usually within minutes during extended business hours. During the overnight, we probably wont get back to you until early the next morning. If there is a life threatening emergency, please contact 911 and then call us and leave us a voicemail. We reserve the right to stop by the property at anytime but will give you at least 4 hours notice except in case of emergency.
The property is equipped with video recording camera outside the home. There are 2 cameras located on the front porch and the backyard for the safety of our guests. One on the front porch looking at the front door and one on the back porch looking at the backyard. Those are used for security purpose only. Any recording is automatically deleted after 30 days.
Third Party Reservations (Guest not occupying the home) are strictly forbidden and again any channel policy (airbnb, VRBO, booking...). The guest who made the reservation must be an active occupant of the home for the entire duration of the reservation. Unauthorized guests will be removed from the property and the reservation will be immediately canceled. No refund will be provided regardless of the cancellation policy.

A great place to stay with 4 people. A short walk to downtown, and USNA is walkable. Property was well appointed and everything works nicely. Very appropriately priced as well.

We stayed for one week and the home was perfect for our first visit to Annapolis. The location made it easy to walk to all the shops and restaurants. We took day trips to Washington, DC, and to Baltimore as well. I loved sitting in the nearby cove reading my book and seeing families and people walking their dogs. The house was comfortable with plenty of room for us. The provided spot at the parking lot nearby was really useful.

Excellent location, walkable to the best places but away from the confusion. Great parking access which is a big deal in Annapolis. Lovely, clean, simple home that covers all one’s needs for a nice visit to Annapolis. Look forward to visiting again and hope it is available.

A's by the Cove is quiet and perfectly quaint. Everything is in walking distance from the water to the arts district. Great restaurants, shopping and entertainment! We walked to see a show at Rams head Tavern and had a great time!

We were very comfortable at A's By the Cove and really enjoyed being able to step out for a walk or a meal, assisted by the hosts' great recommendations. A no-stress mini break while getting our kid settled at college.

Peacefulness and proximity capture the essence of this location. Off the main streets to create a peaceful and quiet environment, yet so close that I walked EVERYWHERE! Two blocks to the serene Acton Cove, where I could enjoy morning coffee and relax after a day of sightseeing. Mere blocks to Main Street and Ego Alley, which is loaded with restaurants and shops and boats. And just a couple blocks beyond that will take you to the Naval Academy. The Art District is also full of food and shops and is not too far either. The home itself is comfortable and clean. I loved the keyless entry! I would stay here again in a heartbeat if I ever return to Annapolis.

We are so happy we stayed here! We were in Annapolis for 8 days with our two small kids (ages 3 and 5), and this was the perfect spot. They had a pack n play and toys/games for the kids which was awesome. I loved having a washer/ dryer especially with kids. The parking is steps away which was super helpful. The little park nearby was such a wonderful gift, we were there every night. I also appreciated the book of info the hosts left with local recommendations.. we loved checking the restaurants off the list! Thanks again for a great first trip to MD.

We stayed in this house for a week while visiting our son at USNA. It is in a great location close to coffee shops and restaurants. It is easily walkable to all main shopping and dining areas, USNA and the waterfront. Owners were extremely responsive throughout the process. We had no problems getting into the house at check-in. The house was in great condition and very clean. There is a desk setup for anyone to work out of and my husband took advantage of that setup to work out of all week. The house was in a safe area as well. Great house overall and highly recommend it to others who stay in Annapolis.

My wife, son, and I had a great time staying at Kelly and Thomas’s place in Annapolis. Everything was better than expected and the property was in the perfect location. Very easy to get downtown but far enough for nice quiet evenings. We highly recommend staying at the A’s by the Cove if you are traveling to Annapolis!

Home was very cute and lots of decorative touches. Place was very clean and even had a little backyard, though we were not able to use it weather was a bit cool. Enjoyed walking in the town of Annapolis, basically right out our door. Lots of restaurants, gift shops and museums. Perfect place to stay, while visiting Chesapeke Bay Area Was also great to have a parking spot!

Property is a short walk to shopping and waterfront. Kelly and Thomas were very responsive to questions. As street parking is scarce in this neighborhood it was especially welcome that the rental included a parking pass for a nearby lot.

Great location for us attending a concert at Rams Head. Very comfortable beds and place to stay. Quick and clear communication with the hosts. Included parking pass was fantastic to have, would definitely come back and stay here when we need a place in Annapolis!!

We had issues entering upon arrival, which is the last thing you want (or expect) after a long flight and 2 hours of driving through DC traffic, as the lock needed love & care when using it to enter the home. Then, we sat down to get some work done & the WiFi wasn’t working. We had work to do while we were there, so that was super problematic for us. Then, only 1 of the 3 TV’s worked - not conducive when you have an 8-year old that goes to bed early & you want to have a little down time. Several things were broken besides the lock - a kitchen cabinet, bathroom faucet, blinds). It’s clearly a rental that’s needs some attention, which is a shame because it’s a cute little house. On a positive note, the owners were very communicative, the beds were comfortable & it was a great location. But for the price we paid, we expected the house not to have so many issues.

The location was great for walking distance through the historical area of Annapolis including USNA. There were great restaurants and we enjoyed the Boardwalk.

Perfect and as promised!
I accidentally found this property while searching for a hotel and I am so glad that I did. The property was convenient, pretty, very clean, with unexpected amenities and just what we needed. It was very welcoming and the hosts were great. I am thankful that I found this gem and will definitely plan to stay here again if I find myself back in Annapolis. No complaints

Perfect location for USNA Reunion
This house is fantastic and we loved our stay! Perfect for a USNA reunion weekend, and what a huge perk the parking pass was - we parked once and walked everywhere. We’ve stayed at multiple hotels in Annapolis over the last 20 years and this house beat them all. So clean, comfortable and welcoming! Excellent communication from the hosts prior to and at the end of our stay, 100% will be staying here again if it’s available.

Very nice property and great location! Communication was with owner was great. Having the parking pass right up the street was a great perk. I would say the only negative and it is a small one is the cover on the living room couch needs washed badly! Very dirty and stained. Other then that very nice clean place in a GREAT location to walk to everything. Will be back!
