Everything about this place is lovely. Hence why this was our second visit. All the little homely touches, such as the little welcome pack including milk bread, chrisps, cookies. And all the little bits within the property you may need for your stay, like shampoos, shower gel, would be lovely if ther was a hot tub. But still amazing place to stay. I even wished I could live there. Lol beautiful.

The property was very well presented and well equipped- there was everything we could possibly need for a comfortable stay. The welcome pack was an unexpected plus - thank you. It was good to have off street parking outside the property.
Nothing- it was great.

Extremely comfortable sofas and beds. Bed linen, towels, hand towels were extremely high quality. Property has everything you need, from all the bathroom essentials, to a fully stocked kitchen including free biscuits, crisps, milk, butter. Beautifully decorated.

I think we all use the phrase "a home from home", but it's true here, I could happily live at The Lodge!
There's a real high end finish throughout, and they've thought of practically everything.
Two big comfy sofas in the lounge, really comfy bed in the huge main bedroom, nice big shower with strong water pressure.
The kitchen is fully equipped and they even leave a big carton of milk, bread, snacks etc
I've already tried booking again for my next trip but it's not available (perhaps I should write a negative review instead of an honest one ;) )
The host is very responsive and helpful.
The only thing I can think of is that I couldn't find a way to securely leave the windows open if I was going out or overnight, but I didn't ask the host about that.

Very cosy, beautifully decorated, spotlessly clean, excellent standard of kitchen equipment, all facilities excellent. Provision of bread, milk and treats a lovely touch, especially after a long journey. Excellent parking and handy for local shops etc.
It would have been helpful to have airers to dry clothes and information about recycling, but these are small points in an otherwise excellent holiday home.

Very clean and extras provided I.e food/provisions were excellent.
2nd bedroom was very small. Its door could not be shut properly because it was coming off its hinges.

We’ve stayed here a lot and it’s a cosy, well decorated cottage. Great option in an area strangely lacking in alternatives.
It’s clearly getting used a lot. Compared to our first stay 18 months ago it now feels slightly worn and the bathroom smells really musty and damp.

It's the little extras that make this place so special - everything is provided for you, milk in the fridge, tea coffee and hot chocolate and even a loaf of bread. First class

A very comfortable cottage- superb equipment level with many thoughtful touches. Spotlessly clean with excellent furnishings. Very comprehensive welcome pack of provisions. A very convenient location for the city but also nicely tucked away from the road.
No negatives - everything was fine!

Amazing lodge perfect for a small family like us, the bedrooms are close together so our three year old felt comfortable going to bed. The kitchen was beautiful with every piece of equipment you could think of. The living room was lovely and spacious as well as comfy! The place had been decorated with Christmas decorations which was a beautiful touch. Thank you so much for a wonderful stay, we will 100% be returning 🤗
