This unit was excellent! We’ve stayed here multiple times and are never disappointed!!
The property manager is very responsive (Thanks Clyde!) and a pleasure to work with.
Looking forward to our next stay at this cool, comfy, and awesome unit.

We had a great stay at Mai Tai. Everything was as described. All the rooms had a ceiling fan, but the loft had a portable, Dyson fan which helped a lot because it does get pretty hot up there in the middle of the day in August. Clyde was very helpful and pleasant to work with, and we really appreciate his hospitality. We look forward to vacationing here again the next time we visit Molokai!

I fell in love with Molokai instantly and very deeply. What a unique and blessed place!
The apartment was lovely with a wonderful lanai, I miss the birds in the tree there terribly! We often cooked our meals, the kitchen is well stoked and the beds are heaven.
The wonderful beach there is awesome and safe. We're from Switzerland and unfortunately don't have a sea, but this would certainly be the place in all of Hawaii where I would go back in a blink.

I was a leader of a Sierra Club service trip. There were 13 of us, 4 stayed in this condo and everyone met here for breakfast and dinner. It worked beautifully for us! Four single adults were very comfortable with the sleeping arrangements. The condo was attractive, spotless and well equipped. I hope to return next year!

The owner was great at communicating and taking care of issues. The condo was clean and had everything we needed. We enjoyed the protected lanai, as it was very windy when we visited!

We were lucky to get the Mai Tai. Check in was easy and Clyde was responsive to all our needs and questions. The pool is cold, but beautiful (but it is February and I’m not sure how much sun it gets). There’s a hot tub too. We used that quite a bit, but it closed at 8 pm. Wish it would stay open a little later. But this has no reflection on Clyde’s place. It’s great.

For those wanting to get away from the bustle of city life, this is the place. It is quiet and peaceful. Plenty of paths to walk, beaches to sit at, room at the pool and on the lanai as well. We enjoyed cooked meals and watched the sun set every night.

Great condo.

Our family of 4 had a wonderful time. Very relaxing. Home was just as advertised with comfortable beds.
No nightlife and had to do lots of cooking which was fine for us.
Beaches a short walk are beautiful and empty. Waves were too much for us to do much swimming or body boarding. Pool is great.
Surrounding areas are pretty desolate. People were lovely and friendly. Understandably they want to preserve their island and not have it overrun with tourists. We had no problems. Mahalo!

We had a great experience renting this condo. No problems getting checked into the room. It was clean, loved that it had a W&D, and lots of beach towels. The only thing I would recommend would be desk or floor fans in every room. It was very hot and humid when we were there and it would have been great to direct fans to where we needed them. Trade winds didn’t keep it cool enough.

The rental was great for our family of five. Convenient access to the pool, tennis courts and beaches. The first four days the kids thought we had a private beach because we were often the only people there.
The unit has everything you could need on Molokai. We even grilled a few times and had everything we needed.
The rental and island were both beyond expectations. A great place to relax or stay active with snorkeling, kayaking, golf it hiking tours.

Home away from home
Clyde was fantastic. Respond quickly with any questions I had. Property is beautiful and has all the amenities. Well kept, clean, and cozy. Not an island for all, but if you come, stay here. Outstanding

Peace and tranquility
While staying at Mai Tai, the only sounds you will hear are from the birds, trade winds and waves. It was wonderfully quiet. Everyone was so respectful. This is the best equipped vacation rental we have ever been in. Clyde and Carrie have thought of everything! Communication was excellent. Whenever we had a question or concern Julie and Dana took care of things immediately. They were outstanding. The washer and dryer are fabulous! Lots of storage. Very comfy beds. Well stocked with spices. Great selection of books to read. The club house also has a library. It was fun being able to pick fresh limes whenever we needed them. All the residences, property, pool and hot tub of Ke Nani Kai are well kept. There are 3 beaches within walking distance. However, during the winter the waves are quiet strong and we rarely could swim but the waves were mesmerizing to watch, it was like watching a choreographed aquatic display, it was absolutely beautiful. It was wonderful to see the monk seals snooze on one of the beaches and watch the whales breach. The east side of the island has calm beaches for swimming and snorkeling. You will need a car and it is best to rent from a local. The airport car rental cost is outrageous! No restaurants or cafes on this side of the island but with such a terrific kitchen to use it is more fun to create your culinary dishes while enjoying the lush view here. I greatly enjoyed all what this kitchen had. Stock up on your groceries from Friendly's Market (and they are truly friendly) before you arrive and then enjoy all what Mai Tai has to offer!
Molokai may be quiet but it is not boring. Do your homework and talk to the people of Molokai. You will be surprised by what this tranquil island has to offer. Mahalo to Clyde, Carrie, Julie and Dana for a wonderful experience!

Clyde is a wonderful host.
Clyde communicates quickly and with the detail that you need. We had no difficulty getting into the condo and found everything was there. The unit is close to the office , pool and hot tub. a country store is a five minute walk and was really very well stocked.
Do understand that this is Molokai and there is little to do but the beaches are indeed open.
Thank you Clyde

Relaxation Central
Great place to really wind down and relax! Close to a very nice pool, hot tub, outdoor grill, tennis courts. Meyer lemon trees just behind the condos and plumeria dot the property. 8-12 minute stroll to a couple of lovely beaches. Pretty good snorkeling as well. Would definitely stay here again!

Molokai Gem
Very comfortable and inviting condo in a beautiful location. Although there’s no A/C, there are multiple fans and a nice breeze and we were comfortable (even in July). The location is a bit remote in terms of distance from groceries and town, but a bit of planning (hit the grocery store and stock up! Items are available at the local “bodega” but they’re so expensive and selection is minimal) and a few allowances for a nice drive into town makes the location a positive. The beaches are amazing! We had a wonderful time in Molokai!

Great family trip!
I took twelve family members from grandparents to grandchildren to Molokai for a week. We rented three condos in Ke Nane Kai; this was the largest, best equipped and nicest of the three. The dryer broke down on the day of our arrival but it was fixed the next day. This unit had the largest kitchen, though it is pretty small, with the largest refrigerator. It's a second floor unit, (short, easy flight of stairs), with three large lime trees just beyond the lanai. All of our condos had tile floors, which makes sense for the island but meant you could hear the people walking on the upper floors. The permanent residents tended to ignore the temporary guests and weren't particularly friendly.
The condo was great but the staff was split. A younger lady was working when we checked in and there was a minor problem with one of the other units that was quickly resolved; this lady was fantastic. A couple of days later an older woman was working the desk and she was simply rude to other vacationers trying to pick up a package they'd shipped to themselves. The complex staff made it clear they will not deal with problems involving a particular unit; those must be resolved with the owner(s).
Clyde was very solicitous and wanted to make sure the dryer issue was resolved. He was extremely gracious and an excellent host. I have already recommended this unit to a friend.

Such a fun place to stay. Would come back
Great place that was well equipped and comfortable for 5 adults. West end of the island is quiet now, but in the summer the beaches are swimmable, beautiful and empty. We had so much fun exploring the island and the house was always a comfortable place to come back to. Third bedroom is a loft but that worked fine for us! Would stay again!!! Hosts were very easy to work with and always returned emails and answered calls quickly.

Family visit to Molokai
We had a fantastic visit to Molokai, and staying at Mai Tai was an important part of it. It was a perfect fit for our family of 4 that includes two teen boys. Everyone had their bedroom space, and there were plenty of living room seats for hanging out. The kitchen is well stocked with plenty of cutting boards, knives, plates, etc. Tennis courts are very nearby, and the house has all the rackets and balls you could need. The pool is also convenient. The beaches are a short walk away. The smaller ones to the north are especially beautiful. We were extremely happy with our stay and hope to return.

Wonderful Retreat
The pics are accurate - very nice tropical property. Very near pool and tennis, and a medium-short walk to the beach. Sunset is nice over the trees, very golden, and the warm tropical air going thru the property was very healing. The kitchen is well-stocked and the washer and dryer are fairly new and work well. The internet was excellent. Bed was comfortable. Molokai isn't for everyone, but for a retreat, to get away, I'd go again and definitely stay at Mai Tai.
