Great location and very cute house. Would definitely stay there again.

Comfortable, beautifully furnished and very well equipped. In a pretty, vibrant neighborhood. Walkable to shops and restaurants.

My daughter had elective surgery coming from New York. We have close friends that live nearby in Dallas and the surgical facility was nearby as well which made the vrbo location ideal.
Everything was very convenient, safe, and comfortable. I highly recommend it and will stay here again if I need to come back. Love the front porch chairs and breeze!

Very nice home in a good location.

The pictures are exactly what you'll get, it's a really nice home in a nice neighborhood. It's very comfortable to relax in with all the amenities you need to feel at home. The backyard is a really nice place to relax, with a nice outdoor couch and table.
The problems are it's old
- The shower head provides very poor water flow. Could be corrected very easily with a different shower head.
- The bathroom exhaust fan doesn't work, probably easy to remedy.
- The bed didn't look like it was made recently, or at least wasn't made to look neat and clean.
- No TV access (no antennae), so you can't watch local news without a streaming account. This could also be corrected very inexpensively.
- Pantry has old food/coffee. I tried to make coffee but it leaked all over the counter. They have a Keurig but don't offer any Keurig cups. Very inexpensive to provide a few essentials that aren't old/expired.
- The kitchen sink setup is weird, not very functional
- There's about 1/4 of the home locked off. Additionally, there's this attic space open to the interior of the home. Kind of cool, but a little weird, you can lock the door to that space.
- The bathroom door handle fell off. Again, it's an older home, the doors don't all latch.
Overall, I would rent this place again, I feel safe and comfortable. If they would do the bare minimum improvements it's would easily be a 5 star experience.

I enjoyed a delightful stay at this charming house. The interior is tastefully decorated, exceptionally clean, and boasts a well-equipped kitchen stocked with all the essentials and more. The bed is incredibly comfortable, ensuring a good night's sleep.
While it seems the windows may not open, the house has a fresh and clean ambiance with no lingering odors or chemicals. The large-screen TV offers a variety of channels for entertainment. The bathroom is well-appointed, complete with shampoo and conditioner. A lovely sitting area in the backyard adds to the overall appeal.
The location is fantastic - a safe and quiet neighborhood within walking distance to Trader Joe's, Whole Foods, numerous cafes, and restaurants.
Danielle, the host, is incredibly accommodating. She responded promptly to all my inquiries within minutes. I'm eagerly anticipating the opportunity to stay here again.

We were very comfortable staying for a week at this lovely home. The lower Greenville Avenue area was the perfect location with lots of shops and restaurants nearby including Whole Foods. The house had everything that we needed including a well equipped chef's kitchen. We would definitely stay here again!

We had a relaxing time. House had everything we needed so it was perfect!

Once I arrived at the property, I did a quick walk through and realized there was a locked door directly across from the bedroom door. Went to the backyard to see another entrance to the house. There is another lived in bedroom/bathroom. I was extremely uncomfortable with this but when I spoke to the host they just tried to convince me it was fine and no one will be home during our stay. That was absolutely not okay with me but they would not cancel/refund and VRBO was no help at all. I spent the next multiple hours trying to find a hotel.

This bungalow is located in a great neighborhood. The home is located on a quiet street and feels like a very safe area. We enjoyed evening walks through the neighborhood and even to the small downtown restaurants. The home is nicely furnished and enough space for a couple. The owner is super responsive and easy to interact with.

We found it! This house is perfect. As advertised looks-wise. Perfect location: walking distance to Lower Greenville, near Mockingbird Station, easy access to 75, 635, I-35. CRAZY nice kitchen/bar/dining/living area. Quiet neighborhood. We. Loved. It.
(almost wanted to give it a bad review...simply because i want it to be available...😂😂😂....because will DEFINITELY be staying here again). Needs a microwave. But i would have NO problem providing one. Everyone else stay away...i NEED this place in the future. 😂❤️💯

Loved our stay in Dallas! The rental was clean and well stocked with everything you’d need. Bathroom was clean, bed was comfy, only thing I wished was available was a microwave.

2nd time here and still love it!
This is our 2nd stay here and we just love the house and location. This is our first time here during Christmas and the host had a tree and a few decorations! It made the stay even more cozy since we were away from home. The bed is very comfortable. We just wish there were shade curtains, the neighbors lights shine in at night and the mornings are very bright.

Cute Rental
My wife and I really enjoyed our stay at Danielle's home. It's a cute little bungalow that was a perfect size for our stay. Very clean and well appointed. The kitchen is perfect for cooking and has everything you'd need to prepare any meal. Location is awesome, just minutes away from Greenville and everything going on there. Highly recommend.

A good stay in this cute home; fantastic location
GOOD THINGS
Cute house; looks just like the photos, except there's no sofa in the bedroom (thank goodness) and the one in the living room has been replaced with something smaller (maybe the one from the bedroom photo, with a chaise extention).
Location! Walking proximity to some great restaurants – many with outdoor seating, within a mile of Whole Foods and Trader Joes, plus a new Sams Now (smaller Sams Club). Easy to get to Central Expwy.
Great tv’s – but for us a not so good thing is that living room one is Smart only (i.e. internet connected only (which loses connection briefly but frequently, and has youtube tv, not regular cable) and the bedroom tv is Amazon Fire with no live tv – so if you’re not used to using these, there’s a definite learning curve.
Queen bed is comfortable – we brought our own pillows, so can’t speak to those.
Plenty of room after you move the coffee table to do yoga or pilates in the living room, with the bonus being youtube on the big screen tv. Or, you can do yoga on the back deck.
Solid surface floors throughout to minimize allergy issues
Plenty of cleaning supplies, loved they had good dish soap sensitive for your hands.
Basic cooking supplies are there for your first few days (salt, pepper, oils, and so much more in the fridge and pantry). Henckles knives! Also loved the collection of good wine/drink glasses.
Loved that they provided Brita water pitcher/container since there’s no filtered water in the fridge door.
Clothes washer and dryer work fine; are accessible through the back deck, with a covered walk from the kitchen door if it’s raining. Only one set of sheets, so we did have to wash and dry them timely on the same day so we could get them back on the bed to sleep.
Pretty quiet family neighborhood on a quiet street; no real traffic noise.
Owner was prompt to answer us on the first few things we had, but we didn’t want to bug her so didn’t ask her about the few inconveniences (plumbing, AC).
INCONVENIENT THINGS
No microwave – have to reheat pasta and steam veggies the old fashioned way – with a pot on the stove or glass dish in the oven. Likewise to reheat a cup of coffee or tea.
No toaster – again, do it the old fashioned way with the oven broiler (which isn’t the best). And the middle rack in oven doesn’t move, so you can only fit in a baking sheet on the top rack.
Could really use a guest guide for the home that shows how to use the tvs and HVAC. It took us a few days to figure out how to control the AC/heat so we could sleep; otherwise, it was set at comfortable daytime temperatures (although a bit on the cool side for us).
Kitchen sink stops up after you finally get the water hot and are able to wash 5 dishes – so, you wash the dishes in cold or put as much as you can in the dishwasher and use that more often.
Bathroom shower drain stops up so you’re in standing water for most of your shower. We had to use the plunger at least every other shower.
No smaller cutting board that you can use on the countertops, only a huge one that’s part of a rolling island. Easy to use but awkward to wash.
Sofa is a bit low for taller people.
We knew there was no garage or covered parking, but don’t forget Dallas can have some nasty storms.
FYI – there’s no desk, though the dining table is a good size, and sturdier than it looks in the photos. Or, if you need work-from home privacy, there’s plenty of room in the bedroom for a folding desk (we bring one along).
We might stay here again but would have to evaluate dealing without a microwave and toaster or deciding if it was worth it to buy our own for the stay, especially if it was 2 weeks again. Those, the sofa and the plumbing issues (that are annoying, not catastrophic) brought our review down one star, from 5 to 4.
