We have used VRBO to rent houses in the Palm Springs/Rancho Mirage area four times over the last 8 years. This last rental at Alan's 49 Vista Mirage home was absolutely the best experience we've had.
The home is impeccably clean and organized. He has setup home automation throughout the house - inside and outside so that lights and music can be voice-controlled or controlled via an app on your cell phone.
Alan stocked the house with those initial supplies like spices, sauces, oils etc that a renter needs but wouldn't use up in a month if they bought them. He also surprised us with gifts of wine and water etc.
Using the pool and spa were amazing.
The office was equipped with a monitor and other supplies needed to work. Their Spectrum Internet service was fast enough for two of us to work via Wifi seamlessly.
And best of all Alan and Brett were the nicest people. We enjoyed spending time with them when we weren't working and they were available.
We highly recommend staying at this home or one of their other 2 properties (18 Vista Mirage Rancho Mirage or 35891 Matisse Dr, Palm Desert).

It was very easy to get comfortable in this vacation property with such a well-stocked kitchen, as well as comfortable home amenities and lighting throughout the property. Our host was second to none—beginning with the warm welcome and continuing throughout our entire stay.
