Corona del Rio has five full bedrooms plus a sleeping loft, six bathrooms, an outdoor kitchen, pool, hot tub and water slide! Located in the beautiful Heartstone subdivision, the home is only a half-block walk to two river parks. The open living room-dining room-kitchen and large cedar table are ideal for hosting large family, friends or holiday gatherings. Outside, the large cabana, outdoor kitchen and fireplace create a great venue for enjoying hill country nights or watching the kids play in the pool. This home is the PLACE TO BE in Concan and truly the “crown jewel” of the Frio River!
Management provides: pillows, comforters, mattress pads, and all other bed linens (see below), starter kit of 2 trash bags, one roll of paper towels in the kitchen, 1 roll of toilet paper for each bathroom, 3 pods for dishwasher, liquid dish soap, and shrink-wrapped hand soap for each bathroom
***Effective 1/1/24, Frio Premier/Frio Select Rental Homes will not be providing towels to guests, including bath towels, wash cloths, hand towels for the kitchen and restroom, and bath mats. Guests will be responsible for bringing these items. FPRH/FSRH is proud to be able to continue to provide bed sheets, including flat sheets, fitted sheets, and pillowcases for all beds. As always, other bedding including blankets, pillows and mattress protectors will continue to be provided. Linen fees have been adjusted accordingly to only reflect sheet rental and prices have been set based on house size and number of beds in the home.

Our recent stay at this family retreat rental was nothing short of amazing. The house itself was spacious and well-appointed, offering plenty of room for our entire family to spread out and relax. The kids absolutely loved the pool, especially the exhilarating slide that provided hours of entertainment.One thing we'll definitely do next time is rent a golf cart. One unexpected perk was the daily trash pickup. It may seem like a small thing, but it was incredibly convenient not having to worry about trash piling up during our stay.The view from the back of the property was absolutely breathtaking. We spent countless evenings on the patio, enjoying the scenery and taking some truly stunning photos. Next time, we'll be sure to pack our telescope to take advantage of the clear night skies and stargaze.This family retreat rental exceeded our expectations. The combination of a beautiful house, a fun-filled pool, and a picturesque setting made for an unforgettable vacation. A few minor additions like a golf cart and telescope would make it even more perfect, but even without them, we highly recommend this property for your next family getaway.

Loved the home, very spacious for everyone to sleep confortable. I loved the layout. Especially the kitchen. We could all be close to each other and have conversations. Grandkids all raved about the pool, that is the main reason we chose this house for the slide. Only wish it had an outside shower and restroom. Beside that I still give it a 10.

There were about 30 ladies who attend, and some little girls. We all had a blast. this was our 2nd year. Only reason it will not be our 3rd, we have 2 who drive 8 hours. Need a house closer.

Wonderful house for a group. River flow was non-existent, so having a fantastic pool was a winner! Everyone enjoyed the outdoor cabana for socializing and the flow between inside and outside kept everyone connected. House itself was wonderful. Only thing I would add would be boards with lots of hooks mounted in all of the bathrooms and maybe the garage to corral all of the damp clothing and gear. Everything ended up on the floor. Also, some kind of retractable clothesline near the washer or in the garage for drying swimsuits that don't go in the dryer would be nice.

We gathered together for grandpa's birthday and had a wonderful time at Corona del Rio. The pool and slide were WOWZA! Enjoyed by all, and the entire property was so perfect for our group of 15, aged from 6 to 70 that other than an early morning run/walk by some of us, we had no need to even leave the premises for the duration of our stay. The kitchen utensils and cookware are very well stocked.

Overall great property. Kids and adults love the slide and the pool. Refrigerator in the kitchen needs to be replaced, would not cool the entire week even when we took all the food out and moved to the other refrigerator. We have a bunch of children so a lot of milk we needed to keep cold. Could all those kids have kept opening the fridge door-absolutely, but the refrigerator was almost as hot as outside. Still gave it 5 stars, best property.. and owners may not be aware. Property is clean and quiet and a lot of fun.

Overall we had a great experience. Management was very responsive and helpful. We had an unfortunate experience because of the drought. We couldn't float the river which is what we look forward to on these trips. There was a water shortage so each night the water was shut off at the house from 11pm - 6am. So flushing the toilets was an issue. Of course, that wasn't the fault of the home owners so I don't hold it against them. The slide was fantastic and so much fun! The only other issue is there wasn't a half bath downstairs nor an outdoor bathroom so after getting out of the pool you have to walk into someone's bedroom to get to their bathroom. It would be nice if they built an outdoor bathroom. The biggest complaint from the group was the mattresses. They are very thin and uncomfortable. We are a large group of adults over 40 so that seems to be an important feature for most of us these days. Regardless, I would still recommend this property and consider staying at it again if we ever go back to the Frio.

Overall it was a fun time spent swimming in the pool and playing games with extended family. The house was clean and cool and the pool was crystal clear. Before arrival we were aware of potential water shutoffs due to the extreme drought conditions. We had a few water issues but the management team was wonderful in responding quickly to resolve. Seriously Fun
Firstly , the management company was absolutely amazing. Any little problem we had they immediately fixed and they were really nice. The house itself was phenomenal . You can’t beat that slide . Adults and kids alike had so much fun on the slide . There were plenty of nice big beds ,lots of seating and kitchen space . The outdoor kitchen area was really nice as well. We’ve rented four houses in the area now and this was our favorite

My family and I really enjoyed our time. The house was exactly what we needed for our large family. We really enjoyed the outdoor area. If I had to give any recommendations it would be to relabel the buttons for the waterslide and spa, we were confused with how to turn off/on. Also the room with the 2 queen beds made a lot of noise getting in and out. Maybe need new mattresses. Other than that, everything was very nice.

Great experience, House was cleaned and well maintained. Called about AC unit and someone came out immediately and fixed it. Loved the pool and slide area, only issue is how slippery it is outside when the concrete gets wet.
