About this house rental
Situated in the heart of Downalong, Harbour Moorings is a beautifully refurbished four storey, terraced, fisherman’s cottage with four bedrooms. This stunning holiday home has been lovingly restored to a high standard with fabulous sea views from the master bedroom of the Harbour, Porthminster beach and over to Hayle.
Harbour Moorings is minutes away from the beaches, Harbour, restaurants and galleries. Benefiting from a private parking space for one car at Porthgwidden car park, this property has everything you need for a relaxing family holiday.
On the first floor is a spacious light lounge with Smart TV. There is also an additional reading area for you to sit back and relax whilst enjoying a glass of wine. There is an small outside balcony.
Stairs from the lounge lead to the ground floor where you will find a fabulous large open plan kitchen dining area. The kitchen is well equipped with a free standing fridge freezer and large range cooker - perfect for hosting a family get together. There is also a dishwasher and washing machine.
The dining area has a large table with seating for eight with a sofa and Smart TV.
Also on the ground floor is a WC with wash hand basin.
Harbour Moorings also has access to St Eia Street via the kitchen and there is a small courtyard with hosepipe and washing line for your wetsuits.
The master bedroom on the top floor has stunning sea views across the Harbour and Porthminster Beach. There is king-sized bed, ample storage, Smart TV and a couple of relaxing chairs to take in the view.
Also on this floor is a bunk bed room with sea glimpses.
A family bathroom is also situated on this floor and has a bath with shower over, WC and wash hand basin.
On the second floor are two further fabulous bedrooms with ample storage and a further bathroom with double shower, WC and wash hand basin. The first bedroom has a kingsize bed and the second bedroom has a zip and link bed to provide two single beds or a kingsize bed. These beds can be configured to your own requirements.

Access Statement – Harbour Moorings can be accessed on either St Eia Street or Teetotal Street. The access on St Eia street is through a small gate with no steps to the front door. This entrance will bring you into the ground floor kitchen. The access on Teetotal Street is via four stone steps to the door. This entrance will bring you to the first floor where the living room is located. Please note, this holiday home is located over four floors and as the property is a traditional cottage the stairs inside may not be suitable for some guests. Please supervise children at all times near stairs.

The property was lovely and well-maintained. Set in the heart of St Ives, all conveniences are within a short walking distance.
The streets surrounding the property are tight if you're driving, but they are packed full of character. I will definitely be coming back at some point in the future.

Fantastic house in a great location
We have stayed at several different houses in St Ives over the years; this is definitely one of the best. It’s spacious, well-planned and has every convenience you could ask for.

Great stay at a much more spacious home than we expected (and in perfect condition) in adorable and beautiful section of St Ives - right near the wharf and beaches. Whole family Loved it!

What a place.
Couldn't fault anything from of trip property location is fantastic, the house suited our group size (4 adults + 3 children)perfectly. Ive stayed at other properties in St ives but they didn't come anywhere near to Harbour Moorings we will certainly booking again.

Perfect Cottage in the Center of St. Ives!
Location was perfect in lovely St. Ives - close to shops, restaurants & multiple beaches. Home suited the group needs well, and we enjoyed the multi-levels and the open kitchen. Pillows were a little too large / firm for the taste of our guests, but overall the home was extremely clean, cozy and comfortable.
