THE CACTUS HOUSE
Our larger-than-life Cactus property is quite the impressive remodel. The spacious corner lot provides plenty of room in both the front and back of the home, and the extra lower level allows for comfortable accommodations for even the largest of groups. The expansive backyard features an attached pool and spa with a waterfall, large outdoor TV with Bluetooth speakers, gazebo with shower and bathroom, an a 8 burner gas grill with side burners, pizza oven and stand alone griddle. A large outdoor dining table accommodates 10+ guests with adjacent patio heaters. There are also 3 fire pits, ping pong table, corn hole set, several outdoor patio chairs, sofas and chaise lounges, along with a putting green for golf enthusiasts! Pool chiller available in summer months.
7 of the 8 bedrooms can be configured as either 1 king bed or 2 twin beds, 1 bedroom has a queen bed.
THE SPACE
The entrance to our home has polished marble floors that line most of the home's interior. Everything has been professionally decorated, and this is prominently displayed in the remodeled kitchen, which comes with granite counter tops, a wine rack and cooler, vaulted ceilings, built-in electric glass stove tops. The Kitchen is fully stocked with pots, pans, dishes, glasses and cooking appliances and utensils that should satisfy any master chef.
The main living area presents panoramic windows overlooking the backyard. The lower level showcases expansive seating, 85 inch TV, and bar area. A full bathroom and two bedrooms are on the lower level, as well. Back upstairs in the living room is a large flat screen TV, wood fireplace, and plenty of seating. The luxurious master suite features a bathroom with large open shower, jetted Jacuzzi tub and overhead flat screen TV and exercise bike. Garage has been converted to game room with foosball, pool table, air hockey, PS3 game console as well as golf simulator and 50 inch TV. For movie fans there is an extensive movie library on hard drives in the theater room, living room and outdoor TVs. Large flat screen TVs in all rooms with internet connected ROKU. DIRECTV in all rooms. High speed internet Wi-Fi throughout the home. With eight bedrooms and six bathrooms, this property can easily host 18 people. The home is child friendly with high chairs, cribs and pool fencing is available upon request for a small fee. Pets welcome, please contact host. The great location close to major freeways, golf courses, and shopping centers makes this immaculate home even more desirable.

The rental house was better than the description! It's a perfect place for groups of friends or families to come together. This place exceeds all expectations; a luxury, jewel of a home, incredibly organized, stocked, and ready for a great adventure. The pool, hot tub, games galore all were wonderful, but the size of the rooms and property lent space and relaxation to every corner of the house; the grilling stations were phenomenal, and the ability to cook a nice meal, spread out at the dinner table, and watch sports or movies afterward made it a hard place to leave. Convenient, clean, comfortable, and just a fun place to stay; host and property manager were kind and attentive- couldn’t recommend more.

This 8 bdrm house is exactly as described. Each year 8 of us go on a golf trip to Scottsdale or Palm Springs. This by far is the best house we've stayed in. Everything is supplied including all incidentals you'd typically have to pick up. Plus pool and hot tub are heated at no additional charge.There must have been about 12 TVs in the house. Will definitely book again if we go back to Scottsdale..

12 of us were super comfy in this well appointed home. The back yard and pool were fantastic! The kitchen was VERY stocked and it made cooking very easy. The neighborhood was pretty and we enjoyed early morning walks. Sleeping was great and we appreciated the comfortable beds and nice linens. The espresso machine was a sweet perk too. The local caretaker Paul was helpful during our stay. We WILL be back and appreciated the communications prior to the trip with Kelli & Doug.

This is a great house for large groups. It has it all -- indoor, and outdoor amenities and location. We were a golf group, and this house was very convenient to our courses (We-Ko-Pa, Boulders, Gray Hawk and Quintero) and restaurants. This house is high quality. Many rental homes that cater to large groups show the wear and tear, but this house is in immaculate shape. All bedrooms are nice. Plenty of indoor gathering areas. Outdoor areas are amazing. Swimming pool is great (mid-June water temp was fantastic). Probably the best VRBO large house we have ever had on our annual golf trips.

This property is five-stars. Best vacation home I have reserved so far. The pictures do not compare to the actual beauty of this home. Magnificent backyard with pool, jacuzzi and every amenity you could ask for. My group of ten had a great time together and still enjoyed individual privacy in the spacious home. Communication with the owners was exceptional.

Our extended family of 11 (9 adults, 2 children) stayed at the Cactus House during Christmas week. The house was perfect for our group: nice open concept kitchen/living/dining area, plenty of bedrooms/bathrooms, a game room in the garage and a huge backyard to enjoy. The house was well-stocked with paper goods, shampoo, laundry supplies, kitchen items, towels, etc. The owners were super nice and responsive to our questions and requests, as was Paul the property manager. They set up pool fencing and baby gates for us to keep the little ones safe. The house is 5 min to the grocery store, pharmacy and nice outdoor shopping and restaurants at Kierland Commons and Scottsdale Quarter. Overall, I highly recommend this property and would definitely stay again!

We stayed here for a long weekend getaway for a 40th birthday celebration! We were a group of 13 ladies. This property met all expectations and the communication between the host and property manager along with several extra accommodations found on location, really made the stay above and beyond- in all aspects. This house was perfect for our group of girlfriends, who were all impressed with the property. And now several of us want to go back with our families to experience the house with them. Needless to say this property is great for a large group and also idea for families! Doug and a Kelly you really knocked this out of the park with this one!

16 adults stayed here to celebrate our 40th birthdays. There was sooo much room and we were obsessed with the backyard. The pool was big enough, the floats provided were perfect, and it was just beautiful. The seating area was big enough for our group. The outdoor Rec areas kept us busy and going all night long.

We have been coming to Scottsdale for over 25 years for baseball and/or golf tournaments and renting houses for said events.
This year was an 8 person golf tourney and we wanted a place where everyone had their own room with a nice bed and this house easily delivered that. We also cook at the house mainly and the kitchen is super well stocked, and the BBQ area is truly amazing! The kitchen itself is super stocked, including lots of plates, utensils, paper towels, dish towels, etc..! This is a big thing for us and the house over delivered!!!
The outdoor area is huge and can easily fit way more than the size of our group! I am guessing that 20 people would be easily comfortable! The pool is fantastic, there are TV's outside as well as fridges, an outdoor putting green, hot tub, huge tables, and PLENTY of propane for the 2 BBQ's AND grill (yes, there is an outdoor flat grille for hash browns, veggies etc..
Inside is even more amazing. I am a tech guy and there are TV's in all the major living areas as well as the bedrooms! There is a house wide sound system via Alexa, and you can also control music etc. on a per room basis. WIFI is high end (over 200mb/s) and there are options for Netflix, YouTube, Amazon etc.
Again, having been renting houses in Scottsdale for more than 20 years, this is the last house we will search for, and we have already requested our dates for next year! There is NOTHING you will find that this property is missing! I didn't personally speak to the owners or the property manager but according to my buddies who checked in first they were super awesome! They had even said if we needed ANYTHING to call them, including kitchen items, and eve beer! You simply don't find that type of service in ANY VRBO!
The house, the owners, and the property manager are simply amazing and you are imply not going to find a better house for a large group, and this is coming from someone who has been doing this for 25 years!!!

The house was well suited for a large group with bedrooms that could accommodate the six couples easily. Paul did an excellent job providing a brief orientation of the house and its features.
The backyard and pool are amazing. There are plenty of activities for guests that stay there. We loved our stay and wished we didn't have to leave.

The everything house.
The location was fantastic. Getting access to the property was simple. It was very easy to work with the owners and they were always very responsive. The owners have taken a lot of care to make sure guests have everything they need. The house is loaded with games, electronics, beach towels, sports equipment and kitchen appliances. The house manual is massive but we were glad we had it to get the dish tv to work outside and in the living room. The caretaker was extremely thorough walking us through the house, but the initial tour took a long time.
The owners have put a lot of tender loving care into the property but if we come back, we would hope for upgrades to the bedding, sheets and pillows. Also the sound system needs to be modified. We have stayed at other homes at this price point that have installed one system that plays the same music inside and outside the house. A Sonos type system allows you to select the areas you want to hear the same music. Playing music around the house was a bit frustrating.

Excellent all around
This was the perfect place to stay for our group of 11 guys on golf trip and going to Waste Management Open. Great location near restaurants and easy access to get to several golf courses (including TPC Scottsdale). Plenty of room for everyone and everything you could ask for is provided. The owners and house caretaker were wonderful. Lots of communication before trip to make sure everything was prepared and caretaker Paul there to greet you and show you how everything works in the house. Lots of little amenities are there for you (shampoo, detergent, sun screen, k-cups, ziploc bags, etc.). Just items we’d normally have to buy and leave behind are provided. You can see in pictures the house, pool & hot tub are great. The pictures don’t do the backyard justice. The space is huge and great to spread out. I was a little concerned being near the road as it’s the first house in the subdivision but we spent each night outside and hardly heard any road noise. If you are considering booking, do it! It matters so much to book with someone who really cares that you are going to have a great time and I can’t say enough about how awesome Doug & Kelli were. Our next trip back I won’t have to search for a different place because we will certainly come back here!

70th Birthday
Our week was an unqualified success. Communication with the hosts was clear and quick. They thought of everything we could need, including a new Rummikub game and a baby gate at the stairs. The on-site manager answered all our questions and was able to address Internet issues promptly from his computer. The house is near a busy street, but the traffic noise was not a bother. You will not regret shelling out for this rental!

Perfect oasis
From beginning to end, Doug and Kelli were easy to communicate with. Paul was available in case we needed anything and was very easy to communicate with, also.
The house was set up perfectly for our group of 14. (7 couples).
Kelli and Doug have thought of, and provided, everything you might need.
We spent most of our time outside. What a great setup. There was plenty of seating for us around the fire pits, with propane heaters to help us stay warm in the evenings.
We look forward to our next family get together at Cactus House!
