Séjour de vacances

C'est un petit hôtel charmant très moderne très propre les chambres étaient assez vastes la salle de bain adaptée avec un petit séjour et un balcon. nous étions à quelques centaines de mètres de la mer l'endroit était calme. Le personnel toujours ses rayon et toujours à votre écoute.

Cela manque peut-être un peu d'accessoires dans la salle de bain notamment pour accrocher des serviettes.

Very comfortable and clean!

We were before in Santa Maria Beach Apartament and breakfast was really bad, we were so happy to move to Hotel Da Luz where we finally had good breakfast!! Personal was very friendly , amazing swimming pool and on the roof place to do gymnastics and yoga. This hotel is very good choice, specially for this price.

Lovely place & Great value!

The location was quite convenient to the downtown area; was within walking distance. The rooms were nice & clean. The staff was very friendly. Breakfast was delicious. I especially loved the omelette with ham & cheese. Overall, great value for money. My wife and I would definitely stay there again!

Did not see kid activities. The website had mentioned there was a shuttle from the airport. I think it may be better to say taxi service because the guest could misunderstand to think it’s free.

comfortable place near a paradise beach

amazing location, near a super quiet amazing beach and only 10min walking from Santa Maria touristic centre. staff was very kind and helpful and the room very comfortable! breakfast was very good too with a lot of homemade cakes and savoury pastries.

even if everything was excellent I would suggest have a couple more vegetarian options of the savoury pastries as the meat ones looked delicious

The hotel is located a short walk from the beach. It's located on the outskirts of the main hotels, restaurants and beach area but close enough to walk to. The room is modern and clean.

On my first night there, one staff member was really nice and helpful but throughout the rest of my stay, not so much. Not bad, just sort of lukewarm. Also, the air conditioning in my room could not be adjusted, and stayed at a very cool temperature all night. So I froze all night. I could only turn it off by removing the key card from the slot that controls the electricity in the room.

The person who checked us in was the worst part of this stay, but after that all great.

Good breakfast, excellent location, nice pool and good bar. Staff on the whole were excellent

We booked a transfer from the airport and were told this was confirmed but nobody was at the airport to pick us up. When we checked in we mentioned this to the person at reception and he had no clue. He then showed us to our room and took us to a room that someone was already in.

Bitter Sweet

The hotel is quite new, so the facilities are OK. It’s a pity that the Staff is not customer oriented and neither the owner. Considering the price and what is offered in Sal, it can be a good price/quality, but don’t expect your stay to be super sweet.

Mainly the service. During my stay, There was a fight among the staff in the kitchen, they were shouting very much, and a couple of girls crying, they created a lot of tension in the Breakfast ( big lack of proffesionality) Another day, I asked for 2 fried eggs in the breakfast they came with a invoice of 2€, as they said the clients are allowed only to 1 egg per person. Other 3 days the didn’t have eggs. The shower is changing the pressure every 10 seconds and doesn’t stabilise hot and cold water. I was there for 8 days and I asked several times to change the towels and they said to me they didn’t have, so I stay for 5 or 6 days with the same towel. The hotel is very noisy, dogs barking the whole night. Breakfast is limited. The receptionist wanted to charge 5€ extra to organize a taxi for the airport. If you come here, at least be aware about these things.

Helpful friendly staff, modern clean room,quiet location 15mins walk to the pier and main beach,although other beaches are 5 mins walk.

Very few beds to use by swimming pool, 7 in total I think,obviously due by the limited space.

Would definitely recommend

I honestly don't think the pictures do it justice. It is a beautiful little hotel, very clean, the service from all the staff I came upon were lovely and helpful. The bedroom was a good size with lots of space to store all your belongings, the bed was very comfortable, the shower was nice and powerful. The breakfast was everything that you need for a breakfast, plenty fruit. I will definitely stay here again and recommend it to friends and family

It is about a 10 minute walk from middle point of main strip in Santa Maria. But I am just lazy, it is not really an issue.
