I apologize for the confusion in my previous response. Here is the updated review for the Inkwell Hotel:
If you're looking for a unique and charming getaway that offers a picturesque setting and personalized service, the Inkwell Hotel at the Wynnery is the perfect choice. This boutique hotel is located within a working winery, surrounded by rolling vineyards and stunning countryside views.
The rooms at the Inkwell are cozy and comfortable, with carefully chosen decor that creates a warm and inviting atmosphere. Each room is uniquely designed and features luxurious amenities such as plush bedding, high-quality linens, and modern technology. The real highlight of the Inkwell, however, is the view. Every room offers sweeping views of the surrounding vineyards and countryside, which can be enjoyed from your private balcony or terrace.
While the Inkwell does not offer a pool or gym, there are plenty of other amenities to keep you entertained during your stay. The winery offers tours and tastings, where you can sample the delicious wines produced on-site and learn about the winemaking process. For a truly unique experience, you can even participate in a grape harvest or blending session. The Inkwell also features a cozy lounge area, where you can relax with a glass of wine and a good book, or enjoy the company of other guests.
What really sets the Inkwell apart, however, is the personalized service. The staff goes above and beyond to ensure that your stay is comfortable and enjoyable, whether that means arranging transportation to local attractions, recommending the best restaurants in the area, or simply providing extra towels or pillows.
Overall, if you're looking for a peaceful and charming retreat in a beautiful setting, the Inkwell Hotel at the Wynnery is an excellent choice. With its cozy rooms, breathtaking views, and personalized service, it's the perfect place to unwind and recharge.

it was so beautiful and private surrounded by vineyards and the room was beautiful
nothing it was perfect!

Good breakfast supplies. Yoghurt, fruit, cereal, bread, juice, milk & cheese which were ample. Coffee machine (a must for us).
Microwave would have a good addition but we managed without one.
There was nothing not to like. Location - AMAZING. Room - AMAZING. Views across the vineyards - AMAZING. Double shower and bath tub with a view were a bonus.

Setting was amazing. Right in the middle of the vineyard. Room was a converted container. Really different and great
Greeting was a bit cool. The man was distracted and distant. Felt like we were a bit of a nuisance.

The beautiful styling in the rooms, the setting, the breakfast and the friendly and prompt communication with staff.

it was amazing, we loved the view, the tranquil and space we got. Staff and management were very helpful and efficient. We will definitely return!
we were not permitted to roam around the property due to privacy, also the breakfast spread feels pretty basic for $30 a day.

stylish and relaxing

The room and view were great.
Staff were very rude and unprofessional following a misunderstanding about breakfast payment. Threatening legal action over a 25 dollar breakfast bill when it could have been sorted out with a phone call rather than inappropriate text messages.

beautiful spacious room. great for a romantic getaway.

Bathroom, bed and views are fantastic
Light from air-conditioning unit was very bright and made sleep a little difficult.

Everything.
The small concrete table…little too small!

The facilities are creatively designed to offer maximum privacy, while still looking open and connected. The views through the large floor to ceiling glass windows/ doors into the rows and rows of grapevines and the ranges beyond looked amazing particularly this time of summer when they are all green and lush.
The fittings and décor are beautifully chosen to give a luxurious allure.
The facility doesn't have food options, which would require guests to eat before or drive to Aldinga or Maclaren Vale, so guests would need to be mindful of and plan that.

The structure is amazing, it is really well designed. The highlight is the breathtaking sunset with the trees over the hill creating a natural skyline. A glass of Inkwell Grenache completes the experience.

Super premium feel to the place! It is so comfortable and cosy, absolutely the best getaway if you're escaping the hustle and bustle of life!
Bathtub 11/10 no typo here
Shower 10/10
Environment 10/10
Pillows and the bed is too soft, I would like it to be a little more firm. Check out time at 10 am is way too early! Considering that we're only allowed to check in at 3pm onwards.
Netflix is awesome but why can't we access YouTube?

We loved our overnight stay at Hotel California Road. The rooms are beautifully appointed, comfortable and unique as they are located in re-purposed shipping containers. Views over the vineyards are fantastic. We had a wine tasting at the cellar door and wine is available in rooms for purchase. Continental breakfast in the room was adequate and small snacks appreciated.

Breakfast was average.
Staff could have been friendlier and more helpful
