the outside area of the property was fantastic, a nice little get away.
3.5
It was a very nice spacious house with comfortable beds and generally well stocked. It was a great location for not only our coming and going around the area but for walking tracks.
We stayed in winter so it was definitely not cosy or warm. Some extra blankets would have helped. We didn't find the couch very comfortable either and the washing machine needs updating.

Beds not very comfortable
4.0
The area was beautiful , and that my dog was allowed . Plenty of parking for visitors
The beds were not comfortable . My husband and myself are in our 70s expected better beds for the price . Probably be ok for young people The staircase was dangerous with no handrails and bit slippery .
4.0
Great house and location
Only issue was the size of the bed downstairs - just a bit tight for 2 adults to sleep in
4.0
Clean and tidy.
Would have liked more options in terms of utensils in kitchen and tea and coffee and a larger toaster
4.5
Location was ideal as a base to explore the south west.
Wish it had a tumble dryer, we went in winter, my only gripe, otherwise the house had everything you needed.
4.5
great location and perfect to accommodate the family
A number of the door handle locks were not working.

Lovely house with great living and kitchen spaces. Wonderful location if looking for somewhere close to town. Staff are amazing and contactable at every step of the booking process and stay
Beds unfortunately are not very comfortable. Very creaky and are only a double (not a queen), or if in fact a queen they are a very small queen size. Both boys legs hanging off the end of the bed. Other than that all amenities were super.
3.0
Large living/family area and decking. Nice bush/ tranquil atmosphere in a quiet location. Hosts were ok with us taking our dog which was a real bonus. Clean linen. Reasonable access to Dunsborough and a short drive to the beach.
The master bedroom downstairs has only a double bed which is very uncomfortable. I'm unsure if the slats were installed correctly.
Only two split systems in the house - one in the common area upstairs and one in the lounge downstairs. No air conditioning in the bedrooms.
No WIFI - in this day and age this is a given to be automatically provided.
The carpet is stained in the master bedroom and should be cleaned or replaced.
The bathrooms need some attention as they are showing their age and use.
Common items such as dishwashing liquid and dishwasher tabs, and other kitchen and laundry consumables are to be taken by guests otherwise a note in the pre-arrival email that the owner's consumables should be replaced if used. At the price paid basic items such as this should be included.
No tea/ coffee/ sugar is provided but a seemingly odd collection of leftover items from other guests in the pantry - is not acceptable in a COVID world.
Odd and a seemingly random collection of crockery
The BBQ and pizza ovens were not used by us they looked old and dirty.
It's a reasonable walk into Dunsborough so do not think its a 5-minute stroll
The decor within the house is a mixture of bits and pieces
The host contacted us to confirm we had arrived on the first day and no follow-up all was ok thereafter. I messaged concerning the rubbish bins that had been put out for collection and had no response back.

No wifi is not very practical or convenient. Especially given the cost of the property.
Couch pillows also not great or comfortable.
4.5
The location is perfect. It’s set in a leafy, quiet area, a comfortable stroll into Dunsborough. The large windows look out into a sea of green peppermint trees. The rooms are spacious and the outdoor area is delightful. The double garage is very handy.
While this is certainly not a deal-breaker, the double beds were a little small; the spacious bedrooms could easily accommodate queen-sized beds.

location was excellent for the kids to explore
5.0
Great house and value for money. We have small dogs and it was great for them.
3.0
The front door could not lock from the inside so my kids could get outside. The walls are quite thin so I could hear everything downstairs when I was in an upstairs bedroom.
3.5
Location and living areas
The downstairs bed is not comfortable. Needs better mattress and queen bed. A wood fire would be nice for winter holiday.
4.0
Kitchen could be better equipped (eg whisk, measuring cups)
2.0
It is large with two large living rooms.
The facilities are rather run down, it needs a major refurb, and work on the electricals - the power kept shutting down on the power circuit if the washing machine or heaters were on.
All the windows were locked shut, so no fresh air and no sun in most of the house - probably a summer rather than a winter place to stay!
4.0
Location of the house, spacious house.
No wifi. No aircon downstairs, 38 degree days. Fan in lounge area is ineffective! Drinking glasses rather than green plastic tumblers would be a good addition.
3.5
Not enough room for dogs despite being pet friendly
