Clean, helpful staff, great communal space, great continental breakfast. Quirky building!
Men have to walk through the women’s section of the bathroom to use a toilet or shower.

Very nice location, easy to walk around. The mattress is very comfortable and your bunk bed itself is very big. The locker is not super big but you can store your big luggage in their storage room. The breakfast needs to be cooked from yourself (things are provided for this from the hostel). Staff is super friendly.
Everything costs extra. Not even a towel is included in the price.
I booked the tour from Vientiane to Vang Vieng from them. Staff told me to be in the hostel at 11.30 as the tuk tuk will come at 12. turns out, the pick up is at 11.30 and not 12! Luckily I was in the hostel by that time. They also told me, that the driver will drop us off at our hotel in Vang Vieng. That was a lie! They just dropped us off in the middle of the city center and left. Clearly lack of communication from the staff. Otherwise the ride from Vientiane to VV was ok. Took about 1.5 hours.

Very clean, especially the toilet and shower area, friendly and helpful staff, good breakfast. Very good vegan restaurant just round the corner. Walkable to the main areas but a nice, quiet location.
The double room doesn't have a window.

Good big social area
Friendly staff, especially the man, nothing too much trouble. Bicycles to rent.
Breakfast excellent
Dorm rooms-
Bed design and made of metal so noisy, could feel everyone move.
Lights - each bed light was SO bright and could illuminate whole room. If someone turns on light it wakes you up.
Design - there are holes and gaps so people’s bed lights shine through, if someone turns theirs on at 5am it wakes you.
Curtains - very noisy, just have a manual curtain that people pull without the runners on plastic rod.
Storage - limited or no storage next to bed, put a shelf up at least. Mine was broke. I had belongings fall down bed into one below because of gaps.
Lockers - made of wood so noisy.
Security- no one adhered to security, I stayed 5 nights and dorm rooms never locked you just opened the door and went in very relaxed. I didn’t use my dorm key once!!
General - hotel is open and bathrooms too so anyone could walk in. Security felt weak.
It is a barn so expect noisy floorboards, creaks when people walk, cold breeze and not sound proof.

Good value for money. We staid in the private room for 1 night. The hostel was really chilled with a great self service breakfast.
Nothing.

The hostel itself is totally cute and looks like on the photos.
Scooters and bicycles for rent. You can book your onward travel from here. Lots of information about public busses etc.
Staff is very attentive and helpful.
If you're a vegan/veggie, bonus for you as there's a vegan restaurant just around the corner.
I had better breakfasts for less money, but Vientiane is in general a little bit more pricy.
Room without a window, so pretty dark and the room feels even smaller.

Friendly staff. Clean and comfortable rooms with good Aircon.
Our room with very thin walls was right beside communal bathroom where we could hear everyone making their way by

The beds were large and very comfy. The room was nice and dark as well as being quiet so it was easy to sleep! The breakfast is simple but yum and great to have. I also liked that they had bikes for rental, which I used to get around the city quickly.
The shared bathroom often ran out of toilet paper and was sometimes not so clean.

Der var rent og pænt. God morgenmad. Venligt og hjælpsomt personale
Toiletterne kunne godt være bedre. Man skal selv tage toiletpapir med ind på toilettet, men man kan jo ikke vide, hvor meget man skal bruge..

Clean hostel and facilities with nice staff
The room was a bit hot despite the AC. Very creaky floors with quite a few gaps that should be filled out
5.0 / 10.0
The bed is comfortable and the room is clean.
The bedroom isn't insulated. You hear all the noises from the beside big bathroom and the floor is shaking when the others guests are going there. As it is the only one, you always have People passing along the bedroom. If you want to have a good sleep, bring your earplugs.

the shared space is well furnished, share bathroom is clean. Staffs were very friendly.

Good location. Comfortable beds and working AC. Hot water in the showers.
The toilet paper is kept outside of the bathrooms stalls so that you must guess how much toilet paper you need then take it into the stall. That in itself is absolutely ridiculous. Also, the "women only" section of the bathroom had to be passed through to get to the men's section.

Bed was spacious and was the most comfortable I’ve had over the last 4 months in SE Asia! Great mattress, pillow and duvet. Breakfast is nice - eggs are provided for you to cook. Staff very attentive and kind. Hostel clean and warm showers!

Great social space/lounge. Staff helpful and friendly. Great value with breakfast and tea/coffee/water included.
Air con unit is in a bad place. Right in front of 2 of the top bunks which mean they get too cold but cold air doesn't circulate to rest of room. My bed was boiling
