Expectations

99% of guests are visiting family, friends, on a work trip, or just exploring town. For anyone who intends to have a party, disturb the neighborhood, or in any other way violate our house rules, we want to make clear that:
We have a zero-tolerance policy for this. We have noise sensors that alert us if decibel levels pass a certain threshold, and we have unfortunately had to ask guests to leave for violating this rule. Being a good neighbor of the city and the block we are on is very important to us.
We have sensors to detect indoor smoking (nicotine and marijuana) and have an automatic $750 fine for violations, and have also had to ask guests to leave early for violating this rule.

House Rules
_____________
We love hosting folks, so we want to be as respectful as possible to our wonderful neighbors. Since we’re in a quiet neighborhood, we do ask that you follow a few easy rules:
- No parties & no overnight guests without prior approval. If you’re looking to host a small gathering, that’s probably ok but please let us know.
- Respectful, quiet volume, particularly after 9 pm.
- Please leave your shoes at the door.
- No pets please, as many of the guests we host have allergies.
- No smoking - also, don't discard your cigarettes in house trash cans. They get stinky.
- If you break or damage something, please let us know and arrange for its replacement or repair.
- Do not leave any food out that will attract uninvited pests. Our home is pest-free and we intend to keep it that way with your help.

What a great location- so close to downtown Ann Arbor, Kerrytown, and the University. The rental was the perfect size for a small group and allowed for some quiet time after the hustle and bustle of the Ann Arbor Art Fair.
We did have a few communications with the property managers- and they were so quick to respond!
The unit was comfortable and clean with air conditioning in each room. Nice shower pressure.
Was it super luxurious? No. But was it super convenient with its own parking space and walkable to downtown? Yes! Would I stay there again or recommend it? Absolutely!

My stay was great. Host was easy to communicate with and the check-in process smooth. The property is close to downtown (I walked to my seminar on 4th each day.)
My only complaint is that the carpet is really stained and yucky looking. We are asked to walk without shoes so bring slippers!

Apartment needs updating to get rid of slight odor. Does
have room a/c but one blocks one of two fire exits since it needs to be vented to deck. Couch next to it blocking
slider. TOASTER burns bread quickly and starts a flame.REMOVE before next guests. One bedroom's queen
bed fits wall to wall and does not allow for reaching other side except to crawl over it. We feel this unit should be
inspected for fire safety exit concerns. Not a true description in VRBO inventory.

Two moms and their sons were in town to check out U of M and attend a football game. We had a comfortable stay in your clean, comfortable rental. Thank you!
