About this apartment rental
A large and elegant apartment, Sangioveto’s three floors are comprised of a fully equipped kitchen and large living room with fireplace, two bedrooms with en suite baths, a children’s bedroom and a magnificent tower suite with panoramic views of the countryside. A private wine cellar, stocked with a selection of Tuscan wines, is at the exclusive disposition of the guests of this apartment. Outdoor table and chairs in the main central court,
- Thanks to a careful restructuring, the Casale di Villore has remained intact over time. The interior design and rustic exterior combine in perfect harmony with the surrounding countryside. Looking from the windows of the old tower it is clear how the panorama is as it was in the past and the spirit of "old" Tuscany is still there waiting for it to be rediscovered by anyone who spends a holiday period at the Casale.
The village is divided into six apartments of different sizes but can also be rented as a private villa in its entirety. If rented separately, each apartment will have its own entrance, bedrooms, bathrooms, and private kitchen and customers will only share the outdoor spaces, including the swimming pool, with the other guests.
While, rented as a villa, customers will have the opportunity to enjoy the entire property privately and fully enjoy a holiday of relaxation and total independence. In this case the Sangioveto, Prugnolo, Cardisco and Morellino apartments will be unified with each other (with internal doors) and the entire farmhouse can accommodate up to 16 people.
All the apartments, and therefore the villa, have been furnished with great care by the owner, combining the old family furniture with original pieces of modern furniture.

A postcard in Tuscany
What a view from a lovely apartment! It is all like a postcard you might see. The apartment is lovely and good for our family with grandparents, parents, and three children. There is lots to see and do within two hours of a location away from any signs of urban civilization.

Just spectacular!!
The villa's setting is spectacular, the apartment, Sangiovetto was everything we expected and more. Antonio, the owner/manager is perfect; available when we wanted and he also fully respected our privacy. We shared the apartment with another family and all of us would definitely stay there again.

Absolutely beautiful accommodations and surroundings
Our family of 5 (3 generations) stayed in San Gioveto (4 bedroom, 3 bathroom) for a week. It was beautiful, inside and out. The pool and the view there are wonderful. The decor, art, and furniture are gorgeous and the kitchen was fully stocked with utensils and everything you need to cook. We ate all breakfasts, some lunches and one dinner in our villa. The town of Poggibonsi provided all that we needed and we had two great meals there, too. Florence was an hour away by train (easy) and Siena about a half hour away by car (also easy). We enjoyed day trips to both places, plus Castellina in Chianti (beautiful sleepy town with a great tower museum, easy to climb and see the area), Lucca and Pisa. We would come back here for certain. San Gioveto does not have a bedroom nor bath on first floor, so guests need to be able to handle stairs. (Casale Villore has other ground floor options, which we would choose for grandparents next time.) The master suite on the third floor is a climb, but gorgeous - cool stone walls, big breezy windows, just lovely. The weather in June was perfect - 75 - 85 Fahrenheit at all times during daylight. Americans, be prepared for small showers and hard beds (both seem to be ubiquitous in Italy). Our showers all worked very well - good temp and pressure, just very little elbow room. This is a perfect place to relax in place, or as home base for your Tuscan adventures. Thank you to Antonio and Alicia for a wonderful stay!

An idyllic rural and charming Tuscan property
We stayed in the largest apartment of the property, which was over 3 floors, with panoramic views from the stunning master bedroom. We were 8 adults, parents and my brothers and partners all enjoying a family break in late October, and still the weather was warm and sunny everyday. This was an idyllic place in the middle of the Tuscan hills, set in beautiful grounds, to get away from it all, and whilst we were there, we experienced the olive harvest on the estate. Not far from Castellina & Radda in Chianti for good Tuscan cooking. Only 7 km from the nearest town of Poggibonsi which has the Coop offering the most delicious local produce and we enjoyed many evenings cooking, eating and chatting around the large kitchen table. Poggibonsi has a train station and buses that take you in under an hour to Florence, also to San Gimignano & Siena as parking is often a problem in these towns especially high season. The host Antonio was very obliging and never too far away if we needed him, but we has everything we needed, it was a truly wonderful place to stay and I would not hesitate to recommend.

Countryside living
We arrived a little later than we had originally had calculated, but Antonio patiently waited for us, then gave us the tour of our home and the property. The home was very comfortable and our group of 7 never felt cramped. The kitchen was large enough to hold a table for us to eat at, we used that one instead of the formal dining area. We had a cooking class at the home one evening, which was a lot of fun.
The nearest town is Pogibbons, it was 8 winding kilometers away, we'd go there to pick up supplies at the grocery store. Usually we'd have lunch at one of the.small picturesque towns, drive through vineyards and making it home in time for cocktails and to watchthe sun set on the Tuscan hillside
We had a great experience.

What a fabulous stay at Casale Di Villore!
The villa was all we hoped for and more. There were six adults and we stayed in the Sangioveto apartment. The facilities, grounds, and views were superb. Antonio was a great host and made several recommendations about our travel in and around Tuscany including recommending a vineyard for a tour and lunch and arranging for tickets for the Galleria dell'Accademia in Florence. We would enjoy our coffee overlooking the Tuscan countryside in the morning and enjoyed a glass or two of wine while watching the sun set in the evening.
I would definitely recommend Casale Di Villore for anyone wanting a beautiful Tuscan villa experience.

Casale Di Villore Beautiful!
The villa/ property was absolutely beautiful. we rented the 4 bedroom 3 bath villa, We felt so at home and the way he had it decorated you really new you were in Italy. The grounds over looked the Chianti region, the view were magnificent. i high recommend the villa. the location is perfect for where ever you want to go. We went to Florence, Siena, San Gimignano, Gerve ETC. There were wine farms just up the road from where we were. We will most likely stay there again on our return trip, we actually can't wait to go back. It was a vacation the take's top billing..

Stunning location and property by a great family!
Stunning location, beautiful property managed by a great and lovely family!
Excellent private pool between well maintained olive trees with unbelievable views.
Not much negative to say, except perhaps that there is no AC (would have been nice in the bedrooms), which makes you keep the windows open at night causing lots of bugs to enter the rooms, one night we had even a bat flying around in the room which kept us awake untill it flew out of the window again after an hour.
The bathrooms are small in particular the showers (too small), no soap on the sinks, there could have been more eye for detail and luxury to confirm the very luxurous location.
The building (we stayed in the main 3 story appartment) is 800 years old and the top floor bedroom has incredible views which can be enjoyed even lying in bed..
The owner family is super nice and inviting and one night they all baked pizza's in a traditional way in the hundreds years old oven in the courtyard for all the people who stayed at their property, absolutely great party on a hot summer night, thank you Antonio and his nephew who did the baking!!
The location is amazing on the top of a hill surrounded by vineyards and olive groves, many places to visit like San Gimignano, Siena and Casttellina in Chianti, and much more are within 30-45 minutes drives.
Horse riding is also available within 20 minutes, we made a guided tour through the hills and forests which was amazing.
We would highly recommend this property to anyone, and though not cheap we think it is absolutely worth the money.
