Perfect location, safe and comfortable. We enjoyed chatting with the owners and Anri is a wealth of knowledge. Breakfast is delicious and afternoon tea is a real treat.
Absolutely nothing!

The owners are very friendly and made our stay very comfortable! The Guest House is made with lots of love and everywhere you can find special details, for example a very nice key box, a buffet with tea, coffee and cake in the afternoon, a spray of parfume in the bathroom and so much more...
The breakfast was amazing as well, with fresh bread, eggs, fruits etc.
We got for all questions very good explanations. The restaurant Stellenbosch, which you can reach in 5 minutes with the taxi app Yango, was delicious. The nice Craft market was 10 minutes by foot.
Thanks a lot for everything! We enjoyed it very much and would recommend it to everyone. The price peformence ratio is perfect!

The whole setup at this guesthouse is superb, with all the rooms we saw very tastefully decorated. Location very central and landlady extremely helpful and accommodating with early check in or keeping a room longer for late flights.
Nothing i didn't like

Breakfast was outstanding. The owners, Anri and Isaac, were extremely nice and went out of their way to make guests feel at home. The room was fantastic with a great view of Windhoek.
The only recommendation I have is to have the Wi-Fi signal in the rooms boosted.

Run by friendly locals with an easy feel. Lovely breakfast where you can enjoy a good chat with other guests, if you want. Plus it is in a great location with a magnificent view over Windhoek.
I stayed 2 nights and room was not cleaned between nights. No need for fresh towels, linen etc but a quick clean would have been nice given the price - hence not a 10 star revoew. Also, there was unfortunately some very loud music at 6am close by, but I think this was a one-off. It should not put you off booking, this lovely place.

The hosts are very amiable, so ready to assist and support with all forms of request. They were very proactive when there are minor issues. Really helpful. I had my clothes laundered and because of an earlier issue with the hot water, I was not charged for the laundry which was really a magnanimous gesture from the host. When we couldn't get a taxi to go to dinner, the host took us directly himself.
Initially, the hot water was not coming up in my room but the host immediately swung into action to rectify the fault. The issue was immediately resolved.

The host is super friendly.
The location is very central.
The breakfast looked good.
I booked Luxury Family room and ended up in a basement room with very little natural light, no balcony and no en-suite bathroom..

This property exceeded my expectations. I've stayed in over 300 hotels the past 2 years and this property reminded me that smaller guesthouses can provide charm and service that chain hotels lack. Breakfast was excellent! The hosts were an extremely kind family who will interact with guests (or not if they prefer privacy). The home is warm with calm music playing all day but guests have private room areas. There is a comfortable lounging room that doubles as check in and a connected balcony that overlooks the city. I was able to walk around the neighborhood and do some shopping, however Windhoek is better suited for short and inexpensive taxi rides. Still, the location was fantastic.

I only spent 1 night in this wonderful guest house and did appreciate all of it : the kindness of Anri and her husband : they really do their best to make you feel at home , provide advises on the environment and your trip, book some meal if you need some rest upon arrival . The historical house stands in a wondeful setting with great views above the city and the taste for decoration and attention to details is lovely ! I highly recomand the place if you stay in Windhoeck ! Thank you Anri and take care !
