The Boca Grande apartment is a 2nd floor king bed unit with direct access to the two story Tiki Hut and a private garden area including an exclusive right of use for the Hotspring Hot Tub. Decide how warm you would like to have it!
To help you enjoying the warm water under the Florida sun, the apartment is equipped with SPA bathrobes to take full advantage of the Pura Vida.
The tropical garden invites you to discover the seasonal available tropical fruit trees which you can harvest and enjoy during your stay.
Enjoy the BBQ area and the Caribbean Tiki feeling without leaving the country.
All furniture, appliances, bedding are selected to give you maximum of relaxation. Watching a movie in the comfortable recliner guarantees you a relaxed evening.

The apartment is equipped with an hotel safe, hair dryer, iron with ironing board and has access to the laundry area. The self check in/out allows maximum flexibility for your arrival and departure.

Cozy, clean, tropical setting, awesome private spa tub, breezy deck, great owners, and close to Englewood beaches and Boca Grande. Many very good restaurants, tiki bars close to this location.
We took the water taxi (across the street) to Palm Island and had a sunset dinner at Rum Bay. Make sure you take a sunset boat ride…we saw a LOT of dolphins.

This is our second year coming to this wonderful place. Close to golf courses, beaches, restaurants and shopping. The hosts are courteous, friendly and keep the units clean and functional. We love our outdoor personal hot tub! We are returning next year to this gem!

Katja and Alex are beyond amazing hosts! They made sure we made it safely and were able to get into our vacation rental (which was immaculate). Pura Vida is the perfect place to stay for those looking for a relaxing vacation - it’s a short driving distance from Boca Grande and Venice; and it’s directly across from a marina where you can take a water taxi into palm island. The best part is it’s a contactless / keyless checkin which makes it extremely easy to travel. We never had to worry about losing keys as all entries and doors have keypads! 10/10 we will definitely be coming back. Thank you for allowing us to spend our honeymoon in your paradise.

Our stay at the Pura Vida, Boca Grande apartment, was extraordinary. The location is ideal for exploring beaches, trails, and sites. However, once out and about we really just wanted to relax at our apartment. Katja and her husband, have created a paradise not only for couples, but also for those seeking a location for entire group getaways or perhaps a family reunion. The apartment(s) is emasculate, pristine, and a fun place to enjoy. Staying at the Pura Vida is a memorable experience. Cheryl and Woody

I stayed in the Bocha Grande unit and was very happy with how well kept, clean, and decorated it was, inside and out. Even walking around the grounds felt like I was in a private resort on an island somewhere. And the hosts, Katja and Alex, made me feel so welcomed and right at home. Whenever I needed anything, they were right there to accommodate. Also, I sleep on a memory foam mattress at home and was a little worried when I first saw the pillow top bed but wow, I was pleasantly surprised ! It was so comfortable and relaxing, I hardly moved during the night which made it easy to make the bed every morning. I stayed here 7 days and would definitely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone else !

Our apartment was very clean and welcoming - private hot tub in tropical garden. 15 minutes to beautiful Englewood Beach. Covered porch made it cool and convenient for outside dinner and relaxation. This was our second visit and we will most likely return.

I lost all of my groceries as the fridge wasn't working. The owner did offer to allow me to use the fridge in another unit downstairs but that was rather inconvenient. We ended up just having to trash all the food . What a waste. Otherwise the property was nice, however the location itself is pretty remote. Very clean and I enjoyed the outdoor space

Convenient tropical paradise!
We stayed for a month and were very pleased with our apartment. It was spotless and equipped with everything we needed. Alex and Katja were delightful, helpful and provided us with all the information we needed. Close to the ICW and beaches! We will be back.

Pura Vida is a tropical paradise hidden in Placida Florida! We loved our second floor apartment overlooking the palm trees and gardens, and our own private hotub cabana. Owners are super friendly and responded quickly to our requests. Pet friendly, yet quiet and relaxing. Everything was very new and clean, the decor beautifully done. Five Stars!!!

Pura Vida is absolutely amazing. So much thought went into making this property a relaxing tropical retreat.
It’s close to local beaches, restaurants, golf and nightlife, yet is quiet and secluded. With its beautiful seating areas, Pura Vida would be an ideal choice if traveling with other couples.

Pure Florida!
We enjoyed this beautifully decorated apartment. The bed was very comfortable, furnishings, appliances, everything was top notch! It was so nice having a private hot tub, and our own deck area. I just wish Xfinity would not show channels that aren’t “authorized “. But who needs to watch TV anyway when there’s so much to do? We enjoyed hiking the trails just down the street.

Paradise and Ultimate Relaxation
Cannot even put into words how incredible the Pura Vida apartments are. Katya and Alex are AMAZING hosts and made this place the perfect abode during your stay. Every single detail is there, guaranteed. Exceeded our expectations so much that we ended up booking again in May on our third day during our stay. Love this place so so so much!!! Pleasantly surprised by the accommodation of the Villa. It was very updated, clean and spacious. It had everything we needed for the week. Hosts were very informative, friendly, and accommodating. Southern getaway to the sunshine state....
My wife and I were very pleased with the resort and the property owners. The Boca Grande suite was very spacious and extremely well equipped and we loved the beach themed decor. While our vacation was cut short due to the pandemic, we were pleased that the owners have honoured our unused nights for a vacation in 2021. We can’t wait to go back and discover more of the gulf coast and have our wine night with the property owners. Cheers and stay safe!!!!

Pura Vida Pura Heaven
We loved our stay at Pura Vida! Everything about it was first class, We were hesitant about renting because there were no reviews yet, but the accommodations were exceptional. We loved all the fruit and palm trees throughout the property.
Katja and Alek were the perfect hosts. They always got back to us promptly answering all our questions regarding the many beaches and where to find sharks teeth. They gave us some teeth they had found, so we knew what we were looking for.
We loved the area, taking the golf cart to Palm Island and all the great restaurants.
We will be back!

Fantastic gem!
Rented the “Boca Grande” condo with no reviews as this place is newly renovated. We were not disappointed. Went strictly off the pictures on the listing. It was just as shown...but, even better! Sparkling clean with quality furniture, appliances, etc. location is great for visiting Boca Grande Island, Palm Island, and surrounding areas, such as Venice and Sarasota.
The owners are fantastic, and available for directions to local attractions. Bicycles are available to rent, etc.
We had a very nice time, and were totally satisfied with the
accommodations. Only one thing I would have liked, was a blender to make some smoothies/ cocktails/drinks. Otherwise, the kitchen was fully equipped. Would rent here again.
