Excellent insensitive
Refused to offer breakfast and there is no other breakfast option in town. The staff member checked and said no although other guests were having breakfast.

This ryokan or inn exceeded my expectations. I arrived around 12nn and asked if I can leave my luggage so that I can explore the area. They agreed to it. By the time I came back, they gave me all information that I needed about the hotel (ex. Location of the hot springs, time of breakfast, etc.). When I arrive in my room, my luggage is already there. My room was pretty big for Japanese standard. The bed was pretty comfortable.
The inn looks modern yet traditional if that makes sense. I was able to visit the main hotel, Oyado Noshiyu, which is a more luxurious place. I'm glad that I can use their amenities even though I am staying at Inn Noshiyu. Because of that, I think the price for the place is really worth it especially since I'm staying alone. If I had someone with me, I'll probably choose Oyado Noshiyu since they had both Breakfast and Dinner.
Even though this place only offered breakfast, it was delicious and healthy (aside from the pastries but I won't complain about that lol). The quantity is really big and I didn't get to finish it.
As for the amenities, There were at least 3 private onsens to choose from (Oyado Noshiyu). I wasn't able to use the private onsen at my hotel because I really wanted to try the other hotel's private onsens. I was only able to use 2 private onsens. It seems like people often opted for the private onsens so when I used the public onsen, no one was there. I was happy to use it alone. It was really pretty! Using the public onsen at night is such a different vibe compared to the morning. I like it better at night.
The breakfast had too many egg like dishes. It was good but not that good. Aside from that, I loved breakfast! I hope they offer an option to serve dinner though.
One more thing. I wasn't sure where I can wash my hair because the onsens (whether private or public) doesn't really have a wash area. There was no shampoo or body wash too. It's even stated in their guide. I wish they had at least one shower area to do this because I can't live without washing my hair. I had to use an onsen of a different hotel to wash my hair and body.

The hotel bath area is beautiful and has many private baths available. Also men and women separate baths which are outside and are very picturesque.
The baths close at 10pm which is not ideal.

The location is perfect, in Kurokawa Onsen village. The surroundings are gorgeous. The hotel garden seems to come out from a fairytale and th
e onsen is set up with different outdoors or open sky baths. Gorgeous. The room was comfy, calm and quite luxurious. Traditional, mainly wooden made. The room was very clean except one spot. The bathroom is shared (private onsen) but there is a toilet in the room, which is convenient. Though the room was comfy in the evening and the night, I found it a bit dark during the day and not really pleasant. But the fare was so good that I can't really complain. The breakfast was absolutely royal and the service was faultless. I'll remember it. Also, they propose a shuttle service to the bus station though you may walk to it if you wish. This hotel is definitely an amazing place to discover
The room I had was a bit too dark during the day. It was really dusty behind the nightstand, right side of the bed. I cleaned the corner myself. No big deal. But if you (the staff) read this comment, think about it.

it is in a central location but away from the Main Street so it is more exclusive. Breakfast was delicious although it was the same every morning. We were able to use the onsens easily as there were a number to choose from.
Our room was small and we had to climb stairs to get to the room.

Great Breakfast and comfy room
The rooms were located on a satellite site adjacent to the main hotel which has the main onsen.

beautiful property with large rooms and a really nice communal space. to answer a few questions I had before staying: there is no shower in the room, just a toilet and sink. downstairs there is a very nice shared shower (between four rooms, I think) and a private onsen (use the shower before the onsen) and then there are several onsen located across the road that you’ll have access to as well. there are two large shared onsen (one for men and one for women) and about four or five private onsen. some are like huge bathtubs some are a bit smaller for two people and are a bit nicer. there are keys for each, so my advice would be to try whatever’s available (most times I was there there were multiple options) and then decide on which one you like the most.

Staff were very friendly (if a little hard to find at times!) My room was clean and comfortable, with a great view of the autumn leaves from my window. The baths were delightful too! A great location - easy to get to many different onsen. I loved the kettle, fridge and microwave, they were very useful to have!

The cutest little four bedroom B&B with the best open air onsen I've ever been in!! The staff were very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was exceptional and prepared by a chef each morning. Aside from the open air onsen, there were four private onsens at the property for free use if you were a guest. I would definitely recommend to anyone and would love to stay there again myself!

Excellent breakfast with a chef for only three guests
Hotel guests have free access to the public Noshiyu Onsen across the street. This is the most beautiful onsen I have seen in Japan so far
Had to pay by cash. Fortunately I had enough
