The house is nice but beds on first floor were not comfortable. Several windows were missing screens. The kitchen definitely needs updating. The backyard is phenomenal though, right on the water with its own beach area!

I love the lake side of Door County so the scenery outside the house and the sound of the lake were wonderful !
Though they are small issues there were 2 things:
1) I think the listing said one of the three bedrooms had 2 beds and it did not. Each bedroom had one bed but we did use the pullout couches
2) since we did pay a sizable cleaning fee, I will mention that the ceiling fans needed dusting.
All in all our group had a great time. Thank you !

Family meet-up
We came from Michigan to meet our cousins from Minnesota, who we hadn’t seen in 3 years due to the pandemic. This space was a perfect fit for our 2 families of 4 with 4 kids between 8-12 years old. There was plenty of space to have private conversations, play different games, divided sleeping quarters, and yet very cozy. The backyard was amazing for the kids to play in. The view was stunning and we could have sat and listened to the waves crashing against the shore for hours. The kitchen was well stocked and we appreciated having wood available for a bonfire. It was a lovely getaway weekend with both convenience and seclusion. We definitely recommend to others!

Beautiful property!
Lovely home. The lake is mesmerizing and definitely enjoyed the fireplace. Sadly the weather was not perfect but the home was. Thank you for sharing this experience.

Awesome!
We had a great time in early September at this beachfront house. The lake was calm and we spent long hours in the water and enjoying the outdoors around the house. One thing to note for the swimmers, once you go past the rocky beach, the lake bottom is sandy and is waist deep for at least 30 yards in. We had an inflatable boat and had lots of fun with the kids jumping off it in the cool water. Will come back!

The perfect spot
We loved nearly everything about this rental! It was clean, well decorated, right on the water, and a great backyard for the kiddos and campfires. The only semi complaint I have is that the king size mattress is very VERY firm. I felt like I was sleeping on the floor.

Great Lake View!
We stayed here with our extended family (7 adults and 3 kids) and all fit comfortably. The house was very clean inside and the view of the lake was OUTSTANDING! We were lucky to have a little bit of a beach the first few days of our stay, but by the end of the week, it had washed away. The only constructive feedback we could offer is having room-darkening shades, especially in the upstairs bedroom. During our stay, the sun was up at 5am which meant we were up pretty early. Other than that, it was fantastic, and we would definitely stay here again.

Not bad but not impressed.
The worst negative point is: This place has serious mosquito problem. I hadn’t ever seen so many mosquitoes in one place and we were not able to use the yards at all.
It was clean but not spotless clean though.
Bedrooms are very small.
Nice view. And early check-in was provided to us. Check-in instruction were good.

Great getaway
We needed a change of scenery due to the pandemic and this property was perfect. There were only 3 of us but there was plenty of room for more. The photos were very accurate and we enjoyed our stay. The beach wasn't very big but there was a public beach nearby where we were able to walk a long way. The sunrise was gorgeous and we loved hearing the sound of the crashing waves. I would highly recommend this property.

Beautiful property
This is a gorgeous house. Place was immaculately clean. Nice big backyard with nice view of the water. One day it was pretty high and choppy and the next day it was calm and we could walk on the sand. Kitchen was fully stocked with anything you could possibly need.

Excellent property with gorgeous views
My husband, our 4 children, and my parents were all in need of a getaway. We were looking for something that instantly relaxed you the minute you walk through the doors. This does exactly that! The views of the lake are stunning! Views are from all over the house. The house itself is clean, spacious, and we'll maintained. The location makes you feel so remote and yet it is just minutes to town. Listening to the sounds of the waves at night when you fall asleep was something we won't forget. We will definitely return to this house.

Beautiful location. A couple of issues
Overall, the group had a really good time. But there were a couple of issues that hindered our enjoyment.
First the picture of the beach included in the listing was misleading. The lake must have been at an historically low level when it was taken. When we were there, the lake came to the bottom of the big rocks. When the water was clear, you could still work your way into the lake without too much risk. But when there were waves, you couldn’t see where there were big, sharp rocks under the surface.
Also, the French doors at the back of the house were broken. Considering that we spent most of our time in the back, walking around to the front of the house any time we needed to go inside became rather inconvenient. There was a sign saying the doors would be replaced soon, but that didn’t do my group any good.
Again, overall we had a nice stay, but I figure pointing out the negatives makes a more useful review.

Beautiful Getaway on the Water
We really enjoyed our stay at this property. When you first walk in, the first thing you'll notice is the gorgeous view of the water. That view is available from the 2 sunrooms, living room, and the master bedroom.
Our kids had a great time playing by the shore and in the large backyard and during the day we took advantage of all the state parks and beaches that are nearby.
The property itself is very beautiful and has a spacious layout. It was super clean and fully equipped.
I highly recommend this place!!!
