Superb

Modern, spacious, and clean throughout. Comfortable beds and sofas. Nice sized Veranda. Peaceful area of the park. Owners of caravan were very prompt and helpful when we had a problem logging into Netflix. Overall, we enjoyed our stay.

Fantastic few days, loved the caravan would definitely book again

the property was fully equipped and was very clean. There was even a bottle of apple juice and biscuits to welcome us. would highly recommend

one negative the silicone on the shower base was coming away, a very minor thing

Amazing

The caravan was so clean it was like being at home. Beautiful sun set must be seen. The site it's self was excellent.

Superb

Where we stayed was excellent, clean and spacious with a comfortable bed. A clean and well kept site.

Having to pay extra if you wanted to use the bar, restaurant and entertainment areas in the evening. Seeing used bedding in pillowcases laying on the grass, In the rain for a couple of days waiting to be collected.

Could have been great, but was spoiled by annoying issues and an indifferent and unapologetic host.

The beds were very comfortable, and so were the sofas. The place generally seemed in good condition and the fixtures and fittings seemed quite new. The holiday park itself is indeed walking distance to the beach, albeit a longish walk if you want to get to the sandy part of the beach. And the part of the site we stayed in was pretty quiet (apart from some guys on quad bikes zooming around one morning), though the many speed bumps you have to traverse to get there are some of the most brutal I've ever encountered, even taken at the slowest possible crawl. You'll need a wheel alignment session after you visit, for sure! The first impressions of the caravan were really good, and our host had left us a nice pack of biscuits and a bottle of local apple juice, which was a nice touch. And he did eventually correct the heating program (see below) to stop it coming on in the middle of the night.

Overall it was a case of an otherwise nice place spoiled by some annoying faults and an unhelpful host. When we arrived we discovered that the dishwasher (which is mentioned in the title of the listing, no less) was out of order, and in its place we were gifted a scouring pad, a dishcloth and a thimble-full of washing up liquid. I realise it's the absolute definition of a first world problem, but unexpectedly having to wash the dishes after every meal didn't make it a more enjoyable holiday. We also arrived to discover one of the toilet door handles covered in a mystery brown substance. It might have been chocolate; it might have been mud.; I didn't fancy sniffing it to find out, so I just cleaned it off. Grim. One the sinks was also blocked, and the shower dripped constantly, meaning we had to lay the shower head down in the shower tray to stop the noise. Finally, the heating was (for reasons I can't understand) set to come on in the middle of the night (maybe 2am?), meaning several nights of broken sleep when we all woke up to find our rooms had become saunas, and it was necessary to go and turn off the heating manually. I think we would have been OK with all of the above if the host had been more helpful, and in any way apologetic. When I first contacted Rob, all we really got were excuses or reasons why we must be wrong, and not one single apology. The muck on the toilet door handle was a mystery because the cleaners had been. The blocked sink must be due to our being too stupid to understand how a plughole works, and in any case the cleaners would have checked it. The part to fix the dishwasher should have arrived by now. No apology All of the above was compounded by the fact that it took Rob a day to get back to our initial message (alleging issues with the Booking.com site), and although a direct email and phone number for Rob were provided in the welcome pack, the email bounced and the phone went straight to voicemail.

The perfect caravan and location.

The caravan was equipped with everything we needed. It was clean throughout and exceeded our expectations. It was homely and cozy. We loved everything about the caravan.

The caravan had a decking so we could sit outside and relax. We had access to Netflix and Internet. The location was perfect. They left a gift for us, juice and biscuits which was so nice of them.

nice little getaway

Nice to have a welcome gift much appreciated, specially touches like washing , cleaning products , good choice of cutlery , modern furniture and accessories, lovely bedding and nice soft towels , caravan in a nice location very quite

My main concern was how the caravan had been left by the last people , they where sticky finger prints on the tv , fire , windows (to which I cleaned the outside off) quite a bit I’d dust on the glass of the tv unit sticky finger prints on the kitchen units , and cobwebs on the kitchen lights , I feel sure that rob is paying for a cleaner but they need to pay more attention to detail ,

Will be back

This was our first visit to the Camber- Rye area and we couldn’t have picked a better place to stay. Very convenient and confortable caravan with all the boys and pieces required for a family to enjoy a break or holidays. We stayed for a week but should definitely stayed longer, wifi is good enough and having two sets of tv was really helpful, especially with the Euro Cup going on… Facilities are great, swimming pool is not massive but kids love it, even though restrictions didn’t let them use it more than twice within the week we were there. Overall a great place for family holidays, highly recommended it!

Despite the weather the property was a good base for our break.

The location on this static caravan was excellent. We travelled to Hastings, Ashford, Port Lympne and Eastbourne from Camber and the beach was walking distance. The property had all the essentials in the kitchen.

Firstly we arrived when it was pouring with rain so we waited in the car until the time we were instructed on the welcome email to call the owner. However we tried for 40mins by calling mobile but the number went to voicemail. In the end the owner answered my email with the key code number. Once the the property there was an awful smell of stale cigarette smell. As a non smoking family it was very unpleasant and no fragrance in the property to disguise the smell. The bedsheets smelt damp too. We also couldn't get the remote control working after numerous battery changes we realised you could only use the remote control if you stood 1 meter from the tv and pointed directly into the sensor. Very impractical if sitting in the sofa. The wifi was exceptionally poor and therefore the Netflix didnt work. All the unique selling points of the property were a let down. We had 2 very disappointed children. The property was also not cleaned to a high standard. Particularly the remote controls were full of dust and dirt and I actually had to clean them myself before I let my family touch them. Which I think in this current situation is just poor.

Very good

Well maintained in a good quiet position, easy parking, comfortable beds and nicely furnished. Owner was very approachable and helpful. Adjacent to beautiful beaches and lots to do and visit in the area.

Internet was not great and the entertainment centre tv etc not marvellous...but then we didn’t go to watch the tv!
