We extremely enjoyed our stay at this house. It is a big, very nice villa with very friendly hosts. It is a bit remote (what we like), placed in the center of the green and lust nature. Okay, the howler might wake you up at 5:30am but that is part of it.
The house is very comfortable, in good shape and you will find all the items you need. Barb and Kile are very lovely people who look after you if you have any need. If you feel like going out into the civilisation, Montezuma, a touristic hotspot with many interesting and good restaurrants, is not far away. And if you want less civilisation and more nature, Reserva Natural Absoluto Cabo Blanca is not far either...Pura Vida!

Brisa del Pacifico was a wonderful place from which to rest, recharge and only 5 minutes to the beach! Montezuma itself is a very wee but incredibly vibrant community along with its neighbouring town Cabuya.
We were easily able to find everything we needed to make lovely seafood meals and enjoy them poolside.
Barb and Kyle (property managers) plus Jaime our neighbour took great care of us. Barb was wonderful at helping us get our bearings and seek out places to see. Kyle was great for those “how does this work questions)!!
I did yoga every day at a nearby resort and loved getting in to the warm ocean at low tide…
The house was perfect and exactly as advertised. Lots of privacy for our guest friends, beautiful pool and fans outside and a/c inside as needed.
All in all it was a great visit with Matt the owners easy to communicate with. We are already planning our return visit!

This is a comfortable, good condition, attractive and well managed pool house in a convenient location between Cobano (groceries) and Montezuma (beach/restaurants). The neighborhood is a little dense so you will hear lots of human noise - voices, engines, occasional dog barking, construction, a mule braying and geese. But the house is surrounded by jungle and completely private otherwise. This is an excellent choice for a "jungle pool house" in the area, especially for the very reasonable cost. We researched dozens of other rentals up and down Nicoya for up to $500/night but felt this had the best combination of amenities, accessibility and attractiveness.

This is a beautiful property. Lots of space, inside and out. The outside area really sells this place as a great relaxing haven. Well set in a calming atmosphere. Absolutely recommend this home to anyone visiting the area.

We really loved the house, it provided us with everything we needed. The property managers were very thorough in their information and description on how to manage the house details. We felt confident in running the lights , air , fans and kitchen appliances .
The yard was amazing . We loved the pool and the deck chairs and spent many hours just feeling spoiled .
The drive to Montezuma was easy and close enough for us to make the trip. We also had recommendations of activities to take park in and the opportunity for the managers to help us with booking.

A well built location which offers a very private stay. Safe, secluded and clean, all we asked for and exactly what we received. Thank you for the wonderful vacation.

Our stay go off to a bumpy start through nobody's fault when the water pump died. However, Barb, the manager, assured us that the plumber would arrive by 5:00 pm (note: this was Christmas eve). Sure enough, he showed up and was on site until about 6:30 pm and installed a new pump. Small hiccup that was handled quickly.
Beautiful house in an ideal location with very cooperative and responsive manager and owner.
We look forward to returning.

Howling good time.
Great pool to come back to after a day out exploring. Location is convenient for trips to Montezuma and Santa Teresa. Home was comfortable and clean. Very nice grill available to use for those grill at home days. It would be wise to get a 4WD vehicle if you plan on doing a lot of exploring . Some of the roads are very steep and rugged. No need to set an alarm, the howler monkeys are sure to wake you up in the morning. Barbara was very helpful with any suggestions and giving help when needed.

Great location
Awesome relaxing property with a convenient location. 6 minute ATV ride to the beaches, restaurants and bars in Montezuma. Also 6 minutes to the bustling little town of Cobano where you can load up on food and beverages for meals at the house. They have added a huge outdoor covered kitchen and seating area on the roof of a portion of the home. Great place to chill in the evenings while preparing meals. New propane grill with side burner, sinks and a small fridge. Beautiful custom bar and dining table as well. Wasn't expecting this but much appreciated. Loved the oversized saltwater pool too! And yes.....you will see monkeys.

This is a beautiful, well-appointed, spacious house on a gorgeous property. It’s also so comfortable you can melt right into it as soon as you put your bags down. Take a dip in the pool and you wonder if you’re still here on earth.
We’ll be back.

Peaceful and Relaxing
We had a great time at Brisa del Pacifico. Everyone was accommodating of our very last minute booking (due to another cancellation). The house was in great shape and well appointed for our trip. It is a little tricky with young children not having all the bedrooms with an interior entrance, but we made it work. Highly recommend.

Lovely home. Comfy beds. Air conditioning was a wonderful relief-it was HOT. Loved the pool. My only complaint would be the road leading to the house-very bad

Close to Montezuma and beautiful house
We truly enjoyed our stay. We traveled with 4 children , age 4 to 12. We just fit. The kitchen is well stocked and it was fun to cook in it. The pool area is very relaxing, the property beautiful. It is a short drive down the hill to Montezuma ( don't miss out on a surf lesson by Manny of Young Vision Surf School). Barb and Kyle took great care of us and Jaime was there quickly when he had an issue with some ants. We hope to be back one day!

Great experience ! from booking to our stay every thing was wonderful,Kyle and Barb stayed late to meet us when we had to change travel plans. The house was great ,it is as beautiful in person as the pictures ,easy cab ride or ATV ride into Montezuma .We were able to see lots of wildlife including monkeys.I love the Montezuma waterfalls and the natural beauty .It was nice to have the choice to prepare meals at home or go into Montezuma .we hope to come back next year if you will have us!! Our favorite place!
We stayed at four other homes during our stay here and all of them were nice, but this was our favorite. It is surrounded by a beautiful tropical garden that brings in monkeys, coatimundi, and tons of birds.
The pool area is private, which allowed our kids to run around in their birthday suits a lot of the time.
Barbara and Kyle were very helpful in getting us situated and offered some fun activities for us to do.
The kitchen is well-appointed. We were not lacking anything, and could cook the majority of our meals there. Beds are comfortable, and the place was very clean.
It is about a four minute drive into Montezuma, and maybe seven minutes to the larger town of Cobano if you are in need of groceries.
You won't regret staying here!

This is an amazing place to go. House is very nice and clean. Spectacular view. Amazing critter visitors each morning. This place is off the beaten path for those who like walks and viewing nature. Outlying towns can be gotten to by taxi. They will provide an English speaking cabby upon request.

Magical Montezuma!
Our family of four enjoyed this home away from home immensely! We had plenty of room to spread out, kitchen was well equipped and beds were comfortable. The pool was absolutely beautiful and crystal clear. Enjoyed having coffee in the morning and watching the critters come and go. In addition, we were warmly welcomed by the house managers, Barb and Kyle. They were both so friendly and helpful. Unfortunately for us, we were only there for 3 nights and we did not have time to take any excursions...but there's always next time! Highly recommend this beautiful home!

Awesome House in Montezuma
We stayed at Brisa del Pacifico for 3 nights. All communication with the owners and property managers was very simple and booking was a breeze. Very attentive and detailed.
We arrived and were greeted by the property managers Barb & Kyle who gave us a quick but thorough run down of the house, the alarm system, and the area.
Description of the home and pictures are accurate. The house looks even better in person.
There are 3 large rooms all with AC and fans for comfort. Each room also has a bathroom (2 en-suite) The main kitchen/living area also had AC but we never used it as there are large sliding doors which provide enough cooling.
Due to the weather at the time of our stay we did not do too many activities.
We did a small hike and enjoyed a swim at the famous Montezuma waterfalls and visited the nearby Santa Teresa beach.
We spent most of our time out on the large terrace enjoying the view of the garden and taking occasional dips in the pool. Recommend bringing lots of repellent and some bug spray. Lot's of bugs around the house but that is expected in the tropics. Don't let them ruin the experience.
We did most of our cooking on the grill outside. It's a bit flimsy... need to be careful when using it but it cooked our steaks and burgers to perfection.
The kitchen is one of the best equipped I've seen in a rental home. Everything you could possibly need. Pots, pans, sharp good quality knives, oven, microwave, etc
I would strongly recommend the home if you are planning to visit the area. kind and attentive service from owners and managers. Great value for money.

Beautiful and private property
The home and grounds are beautiful and well cared for. It has everything you need. It was nice to come home each day and relax in the pool and fix dinner if we wanted to stay in. The air conditioning worked well and the beds were comfortable. The hosts (Barb and Kyle) were very nice and also informative. We would definitely stay here again.

Great place to relax in Montezuma!
My wife and I stayed here with both sets of our parents and it was a very comfortable house for 3 couples. We each had our own comfortable bed and bathroom with A/C in each of the rooms. The house is well equipped for cooking and we enjoyed having meals outside in the picturesque setting around the pool. It was a quick drive to either Montezuma or Cobano for shopping. Barb and Kyle were great hosts and made us feel very welcome. We would definitely stay here again

Fantastic place to plan your getaway !!!
We cannot say enough nice things about this property, the owners or the property managers ! The house was exactly like the photos, (actually better in person) absolutely beautiful, clean, well stocked with everything you need. (kitchen appliances, cookware, utensils, paper towels, TP, pool and bath towels, even bug spray and sun tan lotion !) The rooms give everyone privacy, the beds are comfortable (which can be hard to find in Costa Rica), closet space, a safe, security system and bathrooms for everyone ! Unfortunately, we chose the hottest month of the year to visit ! but the layout, the fans, and the pool made it very pleasant. Having the A/C to cool things down was such a luxury. WIFI worked great and if you need it, they even have cable tv. The owners Siobhan and Hugues were great, answering my way too many questions ! responses were fast, booking was super easy. The property managers Kyle and Barb were fantastic as well. We kept them posted on our travels to the house and they were there waiting for us. They answered our texts and calls immediately for questions and because they live there were very helpful with suggestions for the area, and although we are pretty self sufficient, booked a tour for us with their friends. For check out they were on time to the minute, so when you are on a schedule to catch the ferry, no worries ! Location and property is perfect, just off the main road, easy to find, neighbors for security but the yard is private, animals visited regularly, birds, views, etc were just awesome. The house is minutes from town and an easy commute to the other beach towns. We visited Cabuya and Cemetery Island, took a tour to Tortuga Island (which can be a rough ride ! so if you have neck or back issues you might want to make sure you book with a company who has a large boat ! we were sore for days from the boat smacking the water like we were being dropped 20 feet on cement ! ) but a great tour otherwise. Personally, the brewery was my favorite, sorry I totally forget the name ! but just ask, their beer and food was delicious. You have tons of choices, and lots of neat stores. We found the grocery store in Montezuma to be fine for us (we live in Costa Rica) for others you might have to go into Cobano. My husband got sick not following our own rules-- drink LOTS of water !!!! and Kyle, Barb & Siobhan were great, even messaged us to make sure we made it home ok. I would recommend this property to anyone and everyone !

A fabulous time in Montezuma
I seldom do reviews (even though I appreciate other people's comments in making my decisions,) but I had to do a review for this place. It was absolutely wonderful both in the facilities and working with the managers and owners. They were very accommodating and helped to make our stay even more special. The house is beautiful and very clean. We all commented on how comfortable the rooms and beds were. Since we are from the US, we had nothing with us in terms of linens, towels, kitchen supplies, etc. We had nothing to worry about because they had everything we could possible need and more. The pool is great at any time of the day. and the scenic view of the valley is incredible. The place can't be beat for privacy and quiet outside of the wonderful wild life you will encounter from blue jays, to monkeys to butterflies to agouti. It is an absolutely great place for bird watching. I hope to get back to Costa Rica and will definitely be staying there again as well as highly recommending it to friends. Our experience in Montezuma was definitely enhanced by staying there.

Relaxing Time...
It was our 4-th trip to Costa Rica. Previous trips were intensive, tourist adventures oriented to visit Costa Rica's attractions, geographic phenomenon's and people of this country. This time we chose to relax and celebrate my wife 70th Birthday. We couldn't find better place for our needs as Brise del Pacifico. This place has everything, tranquility, luxury, hospitality and warm welcome from our hosts Barb and Kyle who speaks English, Spanish, French and Polish. The house is very roomy, nicely furnished with fully equipped kitchen. We started our days with cap of coffee at the pool watching the sunrise, birds and animals visiting us every morning. The salt water pool is amazing, you can spend hours at every time of day, but most romantic is night time when you turn the multicolored pool lights on and you sipping good wine.
Thank you Siobhan and Hugues for sharing with us your Paradise !

Wonderful, quiet and surrounded by nature
This is the third time that we have spent a month at Brisa del Pacifico. We happened on it for the first time by chance, but since then we have found nowhere else to compete with it.
We love getting up to hear the Howler moneys leaping past in the trees, to see the amazing array of birds presenting themselves for us to watch, keeping hidden while the white faced coatis check out the water on the way to hunt for papaya.
There is so much to do nearby as well. We explored along the coast again, and still love watching the brown pelicans diving for fish in the bays at Mal Pais and Tambor. We explored along the beach at Montezuma and went waterfall hunting - succesfully! We went back to Cabo Blanco, and Cabuya and our highlight this year was going to see the bioluminescence and swimming in the sparkling night sea.
And, of course, if we don't feel like cooking at home, there are always plenty of places to choose from to eat out in both Montezuma and Cobano. freshly caught fish still taste the best!
We arrive tired and run down. We leave completely refreshed and revitalized.
Thank you again to Siobhan and Hugues for the loan of your wonderful home!

My Most Relaxing Vacation Ever - Paradise!
My wife and I consider this our most relaxing vacation stay ever. The view is fabulous, the privacy priceless, the house is spacious, comfortable, and first rate. We probably spent more time by and in the salt water pool than anywhere else! It was everything we desired when coming here. The property manager, Ginni, is first rate, being very helpful on information for grocery shopping, restaurants, and everything else we needed. We came to think of her as a close friend by the time we left. Siobahn and Hugues were very attentive before, during, and after our stay, wanting to make sure that everything was in order and offering helpful hints such as a good/reliable car rental agency (fyi, most car rental places require but do not quote for liability insurance when making inquiries. Quite a surprise at the airport).
We heard daily and were visited once by the howler monkeys. The katamundi came by daily on their 'food searches', and different kinds of birds were in and out. Very interesting!
Lots of good restaurants in nearby Montezuma. Don't be afraid to try the smaller ones off the main street. Alberto at Zuma Tours is a stand up guy, and was very helpful in arranging my first surfing lesson with Young Vision surf school. I recommend both with no reservation.
We'll most definitely stay here when we book our travel plans for Costa Rica next year. Thanks, again, for your hospitality!

A beautiful home
Brian and I would like to express our gratitude to you. We needed a quiet place to unwind and recharge our batteries. Your home was very private and luxurious. Your kitchen contained everything we needed and more...Wildlife visited us everyday. Montezuma was close for our long walks along the beach. We could have stayed longer! We hope we can return one day.
With kind regards,
Hope and Brian

Beautiful modern house
Excellent property. Our two teens enjoyed each having a private room and we enjoyed that they were well separated from the master suite. House is well maintained with many amenities but is not 5 star luxury. The beds are excellent, kitchen well equipped for real cooking and the pool is wonderful, though not huge. The setting is private and quiet with beautiful view of trees and sky. You will need a 4x4 vehicle. And get the best one you can afford - money well spent. Owners and property manager provide top notch customer service.
