Loved the space and the deck and the view through the big windows. Very bright and airy.
Bright and airy. Nice view. Very quiet. Beds were comfortable. Good shower. Great location.
Would prefer to check out a little later than 10am.

Nick knacks, dust and undisclosed insurance charge
The text reminders of the logistics before arriving at the property
The reservation was deceiving. It included a HIDDEN cost of “damage waiver” insurance not disclosed at the time of submitting the booking. It was discovered days later when I haven’t receive the address of the property AND needed to sign a specific leasing contract. It is ilegal in the state of California to “bundle” insurance without the consent of the consumer. It took MANY hours working with the actual property manager of ARCATA house to see if they would REMOVE the “undisclosed” charge. This was never removed, just a $40 courtesy, The damage waiver was more than $80 Last, the house had a lot of ni knacks - the Kira Jen specially, right in front of the sink there were ornaments with LAYERS OF DUST, right at eye level! At the back of the beds there were thick layers of dust covering the carpet. Looks like this hasn’t been clean in years. If something falls behind the bed you wouldn’t want to retrieve it.

I would stay here again.
East check-in. Full access house with everything you need to be comfortable. Close to stores. About an hour from the Avenue of tbe Giants.
The main tv set was not working.
