Lovely, on the Camino de Santiago, but just a bit pricy.

The suite was delightfully provisioned with cooking implements and fresh food stuffs. Lovely! We were able to make our own light dinner and breakfast on site. There was a clothes washer and line for drying, which was timely and worked as well as modern EU "efficient" appliance can be expected. The person greeting us - the son of the owner - was personable and helpful. The site was well maintained, with an excellent view. The chickens were a hoot - literally. We didn't end up using the pool, but it looked wonderful. The patio was well equipped with furniture. The location on the Camino de Santiago was ideal. Only place that had some beer in the fridge, which was much appreciated.

The unit itself only had a view of the parking area, and was on/in the basement level (photo included in this review). There was plenty of light, but for the money no view unless we went up to the pool level, where there was plentiful seating. This was by far the most expensive of our AL stays, topping even a "Grand Hotel" by a beach. For the price, a better "wake up and see the view" window would have been appreciated. Extra hooks or other horizontal landing space in the WC/bath would have been helpful. The WiFi setup was fiddly; the password was slightly wrong, and it required an extra bit of info (our booking.com reservation #) to "log in" fully.

A total treat to stay in this lovely place.

Lovely welcome from our host. Fabulous apartment, really well equipped with everything we needed. Spotlessly clean. Beautiful secluded garden with views to die for … and a swimming pool. Perfect place to relax and unwind after a long walking day.

An exceptional host with her son...very welcoming and so helpful...a very clean and homely place just off the camino...lovely pool. They can organise a meal for you too as we were late coming in after a long day walking...one of the highlight stays on camino

Exceptional

The host was just amazing. She let us check in early because we were rushing to get ready for a wedding. She still managed to clean and prepare toys for our little boy, which was such a sweet touch! She also supplied with essentials, like pasta, bread, pastries etc so we could even eat quickly before we had to rush off. The place is beautiful as well, easy to find, close to other attractions.

This property is exceptionally well run, the attention to detail is incredible, the host ensures you will have everything you could possibly need. Very clean, safe, quiet and lovely hosts. Strongly recommend!

awesome accommodations

Gorgeous property with great amenities such as outdoor pool as well as pool table, foosball table, washer and dryer, fully equipped kitchen stocked with snacks, wine, beer and water. Benicia was a wonderful host. Since no one else was at the property the night we stayed, she upgraded our room and we had access to all the amenities ourselves. Highly recommend staying here. It is located right on the Camino Costal route.

Great place. Nice, clean and comfortable apartment on the Camino. Benicia is a wonderful host. Apartment has everything a tired pilgrim needs. including a salt water swimming pool!!!

Best accomondation ever, we got upgrade fo free because we were pilgrims. :) The lady was super nice, she filled fridge with beersv wine fruits, home eggs and everythomg what we could need.. also she bought for us pastry :) I highly recommend this accomondation if you will be near by... everything was more than awesome

Best accommodation during the Camino portugues

We couldn't desire more! The equipment was high standard and there was literally everything from children plates to toys. You can go swimming and there's a BBQ. Not only do they offer a washing machine, but even also a dryer. Very convenient during the Camino! Also the location directly at the Camino, really perfect stop. A restaurant and supermarket nearby. But the best are the owners. They are extraordinarily nice and helpful... it's almost even better than at home 😅

Best location between Cávado and Lima

Very nice, perfectly designed, comfortable and very well-kept apartment in a modern property with a fantastic view. Incredibly hospitable, attentive and generous landlords (SHE is an experienced pilgrim) who take great care of their guests' needs! We did not miss anything, heavenly!
