We really enjoyed our stay. Property was as advertised. Hot tub on deck was great. We enjoyed watching the Perseid meteor shower with the lights off while sitting in the Jacuzzi. Deer were all around the property, which is always fun. Notccouches or

Maid could do a little better but really enjoyed the place, would stay there again.

The property offered nice views of the surrounding area and the neighborhood was quiet.

Overall good location and nice place to stay with a lot of accommodations. A few disappointments were that the temperature of the hot tub outside was set at 79 degrees and we were unable to use it until the last day of our stay. That should have been ready for guests on the first day of arrival. There was a lot of overgrowth on the outside of the cabin that limited outside use.

Perfect for what we needed.
Really nice neighborhood.

Property manager was polite and fast with responses. The property need a little maintenance but was over all in good shape. The cleanliness of the property was average and everyday items had to be searched for, ie remote for the TV was behind the love seat in the floor. The property was on a gravel road that had numerous speed bumps installed. Made it difficult on motorcycles.

Very nice place to stay. really enjoyed our stay. The only thing that we did not like was it was in the upper 90s and we could not adjust the temp you are locked out of the controls so it was hot for sleeping. Other than that very nice

The cabin at Deer Mountain proved to be pretty much exactly what we had expected based on the vrbo description. The only inconveniences were that we were initially unable to connect to WiFi because the information booklet listed the wrong network name and password (later in the booklet the correct information was printed, but we didn’t see that until Day Three, and neither coffee maker worked.

We had a great stay at your property and the view from the hot tub was amazing!! The property was very clean, only thing would be there wasn't any bathroom amenities (ie shampoo, conditioner, body wash). Otherwise fabulous stay and would stay again!!

The cabin and area were extremely quiet. Some of the furniture (recliners, couch, beds) are a little worn.
All around a good, clean and quiet place to stay.
6.0 / 10.0
The handle on the patio door is loose. The light fixtures are full of bugs. The drain in the bathroom tub needs to be cleaned out, it drains slow. The stopper is moldy. Master towel bar is broken. The coffee pot is only a 4 cup and is super slow. Could use a mixer or potato masher. Knives are dull.

Cabin is in great location for outdoor activities such as skiing, hiking and trail riding. Was very pleased with our stay.

The cabin and location is wonderful. The cabin is located on the backside of Deer Mountain Resort, very easy to get to. Also very quite and peaceful. The cabin has everything you need for an easy, comfortable stay. Oh and the the Hot Tub was super wonderful. Especially on the cooler nights we had! The cabin also has a great 2 stall garage and there is trailer parking. However, if you have a long trailer it will drag a bit when going into the driveway. If you have any questions or concerns our host Curt is very easy to talk to and he responds very quickly.
We love staying in this area. It is close to Lead, Deadwood, Chyenne Crossing and has great access to many trails. We would stay here again!!!

Plenty of room. Lovely place to stay.

Not much privacy here. There are cameras everywhere including by the hot tub. I have a beautiful 17 yr old daughter and didn't feel comfortable with all the cameras. Cant understand this at all...if you dont trust people to stay in your home dont rent it out. This dude may have been watching us the entire time we were there. Very unsettling

The cabin was the perfect place!! It was among other house but separated enough that no one was a bother. The beds were good and the hot tub was excellent!!!
I really appreciated Curt who answered all my questions, got back to me almost immediately and was very nice!!
We were able to relax and enjoy our weekend. I would definitely stay at this place again.
Thank you so much!!!!

The house is located in a great spot, only minutes away from Terry Peak and the town of Lead. The layout of the house is great and the large hot tub was able to fit our whole family. The propane stove was great to have after a day of skiing. All in all, we loved the property, especially being able to use the garage since it snowed several times during our stay. Would absolutely stay there again.

We've stayed in this area before and this place is as good or better than any of the other places around there. Great layout to the house and nice big hot tub to fit the family in after skiing at Terry Peak.

We had a great experience staying here during our ski trip. It was clean. The hot tub was well maintained and perfect after a day on the slopes. Loved the secluded location. Only downside was the internet was very slow, which wasn’t that big a deal for us.

The four of us were astounded ... the cleanliness was beyond description ... the kitchen was equipped better than our own homes. Most of all, our host always responded to our texts immediately. The "booklet" supplied by our hosts was very useful and much appreciated. Needless to say, we would recommend this home to anyone.

The cabin was awesome. It was fully furnished with anything we could possibly need. It did snow while we were there so having a garage to park in was great! The scenery is beautiful. If you are thinking about booking this property don't hesitate, DO IT!!

Our family took our first ever vaycay to South Dakota in July right after the 4th of July holiday. I cannot say enough about this house we stayed in. Very clean, SO SPACIOUS for my little country kids who need room to roam. Fully stocked with all of the kitchen things for Mama to cook after a long day. About 45 minutes from where we spent most of our time but right in the heart of the Black Hills. One night we watched deer from the back door. Curt was always quick to respond & so helpful. My three year old still talks about this place & my eight year old can’t wait to come back. Thank you so much for the top notch stay!!!

Just what we were looking for!
This cabin was perfect for our family of 4. Great to have 2 bathrooms and beds for everyone. The hot tub was just what we needed for a day in the slopes! Nice neighborhood and close to local establishments! We got lots of snow while we we were and snow removal was done timely. Highly recommend and will look to stay again when in the area!

Affordable Christmas Ski Trip
We took our six kids, ages 3-18, on a rare getaway before the oldest goes to college. It was fantastic. They loved the hot tub and Terry Peak was only minutes away. I appreciated the fully equipped kitchen and all the room. It was a great value and we will definitely go back someday.

Girls weekend
We had a bad start, pulled in the driveway and had to shovel in order to get into garage. Keypad at garage would not open garage door, trudged through more snow to get in front door, finally got in, grabbed shovels so we could get into garage. We were tired and ready to relax in hot tub now, but this was also buried in snow, more shoveling. Not how we wanted to start our vacation. But, after all of this was done, we very much enjoyed the cabin. A refund for our work shoveling would have been very nice. Would definitely recommend this cabin, one level was much appreciated, very nice place. Loved the view.
