Tiny house which was all we needed for a three night stay. Kitchen was well equipped and a nice touch to leave fresh flowers.
As with nearly all properties in Mousehole, parking was in the public car parks which were quite busy even in September.
Also, shower was functional but not very powerful.
3.5
Good location close to coastal walks and the sea.
Parking is a real issue in the village.
Even if you have a car it will be difficult. Maybe easier out of season?

Cosy little cottage in an amazing location. Has everything you need for a getaway.
The kitchen is well equipped for everything you need to cook, but there are plenty of great places to eat in Mousehole. The Ship Inn and 2 Fore Street were amazing places to eat!
Parking at the main and suggested harbour car park can be difficult, unless you are willing to wait for a space or try the other car park across the harbour.
The bannister is a little wobbly and has been mentioned in previous reviews so probably needs looking at.
The addition of some smaller soup/cereal bowls would be great!

Mousehole is a lovely village to visit and we loved it. Communication from Nicole was timely and helpful. The cottage is well located close to the harbour. The kitchen is quite new and has just about everything you’d need - no dishwasher. The thoughtful gift of fudge and shortbread was really appreciated as were the fresh flowers. Parking was no problem in the street outside, but we visited in early October when things get a lot quieter.
It’s an older property and we found it quite cramped for our 5 night stay. The bed is only a double, and the shower quite small. The stairs are quite steep and narrow. Unfortunately they have an obvious problem with damp, understandable in such an old building.

nice location in mousehole, kitchen well equipped, comfy bed. Nice touches of flowers, Cornish biscuits and juice.
sofa uncomfortable, damp musty smell . Expensive compared to similar stays in similar properties.

All OK

It was in a lovely location close to the harbour.
The cottage has everything we needed including milk in the fridge.
Decor was very good.
Unfortunately the smoke detector started beeping at 3am so we didn’t get back to sleep. They did come and sort it the next day.
It was very humid when we stayed and a Fan would have been amazing.
The banister was very wobbly needs to be tightened.

The cottage was charming, clean, and comfortable. The appliances all worked. The bed was very comfortable. Everything was as it should be for a wonderful stay. I really liked the complimentary biscuits and tea. The setting was idyllic and the decor was lovely.
There was nothing unlikable about this cottage or the people.

Perfect location! In the middle of town with a 2 minute walk to the Ship Inn for a drink and a meal. Easy drive to Lands End, Penzance, St Michael’s Mount and other tourist attraction. Great stop if you’re hiking the Coast Path.
Host was lovely and very responsive.
I imagine in summer parking could be a nightmare but we were lucky and had no issues at all.

Fantastic location, great little cottage bolt hole with everything you would need for a long or short stay. Very clean and comfortable.

cleanliness , everything you needed in the kitchen , comfortable bed , efficient electric radiators and log burner
The front door kept sticking and didn’t feel very secure.
The key box was difficult to reach if you were under 5’6”
Labelling of the towel rail switch would have been helpful .

Amazing location a moments stroll to the water. Quaint and cool. You can get someone to pass you something from downstairs without them having to fulling come up the stairs! Lovely shower as well.
Cold water upstairs has some water pressure issues, but understandable in an old property.

Beautiful cottage located in a small Cornish harbour village with comfortable living space, most mod-cons and walking distance to amenities and beaches. All instructions are well communicated prior to arrivals.
No heating except for a portable one and the one with the humidifier was not heating sufficiently. Also cold water in the bathroom was not always available in the sink.
