About this house rental
Nicely renovated waterfront home. Property has deep water on the Colorado arm of Lake LBJ. Very close to boat launch. Large covered deck on newer concrete boat dock. Boat lift, jet ski lifts and a private swim area are all there for your ultimate lake enjoyment. You may also fish from the dock or watch the boats go by. The home is 1,400 square feet of interior living space, plus the large covered patio overlooking the waterfront dock. This Lake LBJ location home enjoys morning sunrise views of Lookout Mountain and an Eastern facing tree covered lot to keep you cool in the summer, an outdoor fireplace for cool nights on the patio.
Top of the line amenities throughout this three bedroom three bath home. Huge sectional sofa in the living room with large glass wall for viewing beautiful Lake LBJ. Master sports a King bed with a large sliding glass wall looking out to the Lake and a private bath. Number two bedroom has private bath and a queen bed. Bunk room has two twins and a full size mattress. Living area has a very comfortable futon in addition to the large sectional. This home will sleep 10 comfortably. Very beautiful gradual sloping backyard leads you to over-sized sun deck and dock (covered and non-covered) next to lifted boat hoist that will accommodate most pontoon and V hull boats. Other boats such as Tritoons or larger size boats maybe moored in the swimming area. Please let us know when booking what type of boat you have and we will be glad to let you know if your boat is suitable for the lift. The dock also has two Jetski (PWC) slots on a lifted hoist, Great place to bring the family.

We drove our surf boat from California, looking for a fun Texas adventure (for my wife and I and our 4 teenagers), and this lake house was perfect.
The house was clean, cool and spacious. Huge family room, large kitchen and great size bedrooms with comfortable beds. Fully stocked kitchen. Huge windows overlook the large lawn, leading to a private dock and beautiful lake.
We loved eating breakfast on the large, shaded back porch, eating dinner on the shaded dock (with boat lift for our surf boat), and watching our kids fish, as the stars came out. The dock is white concrete, which keeps it super clean, cool, and stable. Our dog loved the huge, fenced, shaded, grass back yard.
The location is perfect. The position of the house was perfect for (much-needed) afternoon shade. The Colorado river arm is a beautiful part of Lake LBJ, and had it to ourselves during the week. Kingsland was a peaceful town with some fun restaurants (including Boat Town nearby on the water), grocery nearby, boat launch around the corner, and even boarding for our dog 15 minutes away (while we visited other cities). When we got our fill of wake surfing, we took day trips to nearby Caverns, Austin, and MLB games in Houston and Arlington. "The Slab" up the street, was also a fun spot for playing in the water at sunset.
Jeff was very responsive, and a great host. We loved this house, made a lot of family memories, and would be blessed if we can make it back to Texas someday, and stay there again.

The most important thing about a lakehouse is deep water and a great dock to hang out on, this property has both. Nice yard and pretty covered porch with gas grill as well. House was clean and had a great air conditioner, which is important in July! Great communication by host.

Our family and friends had a great time at Classic Bungalow on LBJ. It was the perfect size for 8 of us. The outdoor patio is amazing and ease of boat launch to the house dock was perfect. Thank you Jeff for hosting us. We will definitely book again!

This property was impeccably clean and organized. Linens and towels were great quality. Beds and pillows were super comfortable. Kitchen was full of everything we needed to cook meals and serve dinner on very nice plates, even a good selection of spices and condiments. Smart TV in living area is very large and easy to setup with our own streaming services. Really enjoyed fishing from the covered dock, even when it rained. Yard and patio were well-maintained and fun to use, especially the fireplace. Thanks for a very enjoyable weekend! We would definitely book again.

The house was very nice and clean. The back porch was very enjoyable and gave a great view of the sunrise over the lake with your morning coffee and breakfast. We enjoyed how close this house was to town and the fact that it was on the main Colorado arm. We would stay here again if we are in the area!

This house was perfect for my family’s 4th of July trip. Plenty of room and bathrooms. We loved the back porch and the view. Jeff was awesome! Always available to answer any questions and very easy to work with. Will definitely stay here again.

This house was the best place for our spur of the moment family vacation after we bought our new boat. We loved that the place had adequate parking for our jet ski and boat trailers. The boat dock was set up perfectly! The home was very spacious and well stocked. When we had any questions the owner was directly available to answer which typically isn't the case.
Definitely will be booking this place again in the future!!

This house was clean, comfortable and spacious. All appliances worked well and there was plenty of parking. There is a lot of natural light and great views from the large windows in the living room and the master bedroom. The covered patio is large and has three ceiling fans for comfort.
Like other lakes in Texas, there is hydrilla at this lake (not the owner's fault). So you might want to bring a rake or request one from the owner to clear the jet ski lift area and boat lift area (its easy to clear). You also need to really clean your boats/watercraft after your visit. But this is minor and the lake is still beautiful. Also, the boat dock at this house is really nice and all lifts worked great. We really enjoyed this house!

the house was great from the location on the water, to all the space inside of the the house, plenty of parking, the outdoor patio was spacious and the huge yard for our dog to run around. the dock and boat slip was perfect for my boat. we will definitely come back soon.

5 out of 5 stars for me and my family..... we had an absolute blast at the house and will definitely stay again in years to come... location is great and with the lot across the street the parking was very easy- we had a truck and boat trailer and a van and jet ski trailer and also had various friend stop by and we had plenty of room in the house/back porch/boat dock...

Super clean and spacious. Fantastic location on the Colorado River just north of the 1431 bridge.
Beautiful yard with great patio. Private dock was perfect for our pontoon boat, swimming, and fishing. Check in/out was a breeze. And Jeff is an awesome host.

Spacious Beautiful Lake House
Wonderful lake house for a weekend trip with my husband and adult kids. The Owner was great with communication and even let us bring our 2 dogs! The house was super clean and fully stocked with everything you need to make meals. The backyard and back porch were super accommodating! We were able to grill out and make smores! You can swim and fish right off the dock in the back. We also rented a boat which was close by for pick up. Overall phenomenal place that we will definitely return to again!

Really enjoyed our stay!
The house itself was lovely. Clean, spacious, everything provided that we needed. The view of the lake is just so relaxing. The fans on the porch made a huge difference in this heat! That was nice. The covered dock provided some much needed shade for fishing in this heat as well. Right across the street from the bait shop, close to the little HEB, it was the perfect location for all our needs. We even went down to Mr Gattis one day when it was just a little too hot out(for us personally). The owner is easy to contact should you need to(we didn’t have any issues). I had a great little birthday getaway, no complaints here!

We are long time VRBO renters and let me tell you... this property was one of the best...I am remiss in saying "property" its a getaway beyond getaway. the home is larger than you 1st see. Its a comfortable home that envelops you into the comfort you are looking forward to with a getaway in mind. From when you 1st walk into a glorious view of the river greeting you, to the splendid home you are going to spend the next days, you know you have made the right decision in renting this home. What a wonderful place we found. Home was very spacious and comfortable. Back porch was a hit with the view, BBQ, and cozy fireplace and seating. Beautifully groomed yard, dock and boat lift were great! Communication with owner was excellent. Will most definitely book again.

Thanksgiving getaway
We had an absolutely amazing time at this property! My husband and I wanted to have a week away to just re-connect with our kids and enjoy time outdoors. This house allowed us to have plenty of room, great/welcoming accommodations, great fires at night for S'mores and best of all....fishing right off the dock! The girls loved being able to just walk outside and go fishing! We were able to catch a lot of little crappie but also some sizable crappie, bass and a few catfish! There are basic conveniences nearby for anything you may need and several places nearby to rent boats. We would highly recommend this VRBO to friends!

What a fantastic experience beginning to end. In fact, we didn’t want it to end.
The property is perfectly situated to take advantage of all that the deep waters of the Colorado arm of Lake LBJ has to offer. The house is wonderfully comfortable, tastefully appointed and well equipped with everything you need for an amazing stay.
The host is the cherry on top. Very accommodating, helpful, flexible and truly a pleasure to deal with. Kick back and Enjoy!

A little slice of paradise!
The house was much bigger inside than how it looked outside. This is a true example of the statement, "Don't judge the book by its cover." The back of the house was glorious: grand covered patio, lush grassy backyard that lead to the water. We loved the covered dock with table and chairs because sometimes, you deserve just to sit and watch the people, the boats, and admire the surrounding. The house has 2 boat lifts (one was used for the 2 kayaks). We didn't rent a boat this time but would definitely do it next time. There were a few places to rent boats and other watercraft in Kingsland (and they deliver to your dock). The kitchen was fully stocked with everything you need to cook and eat in. The house was within a mile from a small H.E.B. There were not many dining choices (Kingsland is a small town) within the 2 miles radius. However, there were plenty of choices beyond 8 miles. The beds were comfortable, and the sheets were clean and fresh.
Jeff was a delighted host: responsive, generous, and kind. He left extra life jackets, lily pad, fishing rod, and paddles for the kayak so we could enjoy the lake more.
We enjoyed our stay at Jeff's house and had an awesome time on the lake. We can't wait to come back!

Everything as advertised. The home is perfect for a family getaway on the lake. Convenient to anything you may need and very clean. Jeff is so helpful and responsive. We loved our weekend on the lake and were sad to say goodbye.

Perfect in every way!
Rented this property for a family getaway with our older kids and their SOs and had an amazing time! Once you walk thru the front door, you are completely transitioned into “lake” mode! The property is beautiful and the back porch was our favorite place to hang out when we weren’t playing in the big lush yard or swimming/fishing from the dock! The home was big enough for all us to be comfortable and enjoy our family and lake time. The location is very convenient to grocery store, convenience store, and bait shop. The owner, Jeff, was very accommodating for our questions prior and during our stay. Definitely a super host to share his little slice of lake heaven!!!
