Cosy cottage in beautiful Kinsale.

This is a lovely little hideaway. A cosy cottage with everything you need including a beautiful outlook. Even though it is in the garden of the B&B, it felt very private. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here and felt it was great base to explore Kinsale.

Amazing

The breakfast was exceptional and the location was fabulous. The host was very friendly and made us very welcome. Gave good tips on places to visit while staying there. Will definitely go back again.

Superb

Private peaceful location overlooking the river estuary. It was very nice to sit out on the south facing patio in the sunshine.

This cottage exceeded our expectations.

The serene location is delightful. The hosts dog, Poppy is a charmer and the cat, Simba is a lover. The cottage is a perfect get-away for 1-2 people. Plenty of space, especially with the front patio. We hope to return again.

Lovely trip, a real retreat from the city.

Such a lovely hideaway, a little walk into kinsale but not far. John was very hospitable, letting us check in early and keep our bags there before we flew back. The property has everything you could need and gorgeous views over the river (and very friendly cat and dog).

Charming Cottage Stay in Kinsale

Perfect location for anyone looking to stay a little further from the hustle and bustle of Kinsale. Easy 20 minute walk into town, be aware the walk back is uphill but was totally walkable. Great views from both the cottage and the walking route. John was very nice, meeting us upon check in to show us around and give a few instructions. He also popped out to check on us if he happened to see we were outside. Poppy (dog) and Simba (cat) greeted us every morning and loved being pet. I really appreciated the overall charm of the cottage -- the gardens are beautiful and the property itself has a country feel.

The cottage wasn't quite as clean as I expected. There was dirt and debris in some of the corners and dust on the back of the tv which was found when repositioning it.

We had the wee cottage. It was quaint, private and had an amazing view and a great place to relax of a morning and evening. John the owner was an amazing, caring host. He bought us down great tasting home made coffee pots each morning and picked us fresh, delicious cherry tomatoes straight from his green house. Poppy the dog and Simba the cat loved to come and say hello. Very placid and friendly pets. Our little baby girl loved seeing them.

Scenic cottage

Lovely place to stay . Comfortable . Great view . 20 min walk from Kinsale town so easy access to bars/restaurants/ shops etc. John very helpful & accommodating- Thank You

A fabulous place!

A brilliant cottage with everything you need for a wonderful stay in and around Kinsale. With a full kitchen, comfy bed, and divine outdoor area, the cottage ticks all the boxes. John was a wonderful host.

Amazing place!

John the owner was such a great guy and made our stay really enjoyable. He explained everything we needed to know. Even though we did not book breakfast we asked and he was able to accomodate us. The views are amazing.

Great stay in Kinsale.

We had a lovely stay at Rocklands. Every facility if you wanted to make a four course dinner! Plenty of everything in stock. Outdoor furniture aswell to sit and enjoy the views over Kinsale 😎 John is a great host. We would definitely stay again.

All uphill if you're walking up from town.

Late June stay

Everything about the property ticked all the boxes for us, not only is the view from the 1 bed cottage amazing, but the property & surrounding gardens are kept in pristine condition with lots of beautiful flowers. It’s a short walk down the hill to the centre of town which was really handy to have so close. The property itself was spacious & had everything you need to self cater. The bed is extremely comfy & black out blinds are in the room so that your sleep is not disturbed. John was super helpful in recommending where to go to swim & had taxi numbers at the ready if needed. We will definitely be coming back again, especially to see Poppy the dog & Ginger the cat, best highlight of the trip.

I liked the location, the cottage had everything I needed. The host John collected me from the bus station even though he didn't have to, which was lovely.
