We only had a couple of days to spend in the area and this was a great place to stay. Our 5 year old grandson was thrilled to meet the neighboring donkeys and feed them the treats supplied by the host. The host was very responsive to questions and even adjustments due to flight times. We thoroughly enjoyed our short stay.

Wonderful country home; loved feeding the donkeys. Alo close enough to all the restraunts and about 6 miles from Baylor.

Great location as we toured around different areas of Texas (Waco, Austin, Fort Worth, Arlington, Dallas). House was perfect for our family and we loved visiting the cows and donkeys next door!

This is a cute and roomy farmhouse out in the country but very close to the Baylor campus. The property was clean and had everything we needed. We had six guests and never felt crowded with the various living areas to spread around. The kitchen had all of the necessary appliances and utensils. We appreciated the Christmas tree in the front living room to keep us in the holiday spirit. A great place for a medium size group.

We 5 college roomates from 50 years ago, had a great time! We had lots of space and with 3 1/2 baths, it was very convenient. The grounds were peaceful and relaxing and we enjoyed feeding the donkeys. The house is only about 5 min outside of Waco, but still in the country. The house is very clean and comfortable ensuring a return visit!

We loved our stay at this farmhouse within 10 minutes of Waco! It was nice having the peaceful, country setting and animals right across the street! Perfect for the kids. The only things we encountered were a plethora of birds that seem to love the trees on the property (so many we had to use an umbrella while running to the car to escape being pooped on) and also had to get a car wash. Not sure how you avoid that but just a "heads up" it could be bad depending on the season. It doesn't last all day:) We also encountered 2 cockroaches which the owner said were water bugs and had something to do with how the house was structured/built. They do spray the property and we thought the house was clean. Being this is a farm property, it doesn't go without smells so if you're sensitive to smell, you might want to find something in town, we didn't mind it however.

Since my father’s passing two years ago, we wanted to make sure we celebrated our mother’s birthday with a nice trip. Just her and her girls. It was a great getaway and we all enjoyed the property!

Country setting not far from everything. Easy to locate, spacious property. Wish it would've been warmer weather so we could've enjoyed the outdoor patio area. Everyone loved the house.

Wonderful scenery and unique house. Had a booking problem but the host went above and beyond to make sure we got in.

This house is out in the country where it is quiet at night. We loved being outside around the firepit, even without a fire going. It was also relatively convenient for visiting Silos/Magnolia.
The only "problem" we had was that we couldn't find a phone number for getting in touch with the owners if we had needed to.

The property is easily accessible, in a perfect country setting, remote, yet "out of town visitor" friendly. It was clean and inviting. It was large, yet cozy!! Great home to use as a "base camp" while exploring the surrounding attractions, yet offers a stay-at-home opportunity with all the amenities if so desired. Straight forward booking information and instructions. My two daughters and I absolutely loved every facet of this experience. Thank you !!!

We enjoyed our stay. It was very comfortable. We were only in town for a couple of days and wish we would’ve had more time to use the back patio because it was beautiful.

Clean, relaxing country splendor. I needed a place to unwind in nature and this farm cottage checked all the boxes.
I and my friends had a great time and would recommend and return again. By far much better than staying in an impersonal hotel.

Perfect for some last minute time together as a family before moving our son into Baylor. Close enough to town to be super convenient, but far enough out of town for some peace and quiet. Donkeys were a bonus for our daughter who loves animals.

Great farm house property
The property was great - very clean and spacious. Pam and Keith were very responsive to our requests and clearly take good care of their property.
Feeding the donkeys and cows in the evening was a treat for the whole family. We’ll definitely stay here again.

So Fun!
The house is spacious and the location is lovely. The local farmer invited some visiting children to watch him feed the cows and their babies - so much fun.

This property is charming from the outside but very dirty from the inside. The home needs a professional cleaning company to clean the home. We found blood on the pillowcases and the towels were old. The have old TVs and the AC does not work well. I was very disappointed with this property.

Such a cute house!
We loved our time in Waco. The house was perfect. We cooked the first night we were there. We had so much room to spread out! And we loved feeding the donkeys treats and greeting the horses down the road. We would stay here again!

Blue Silos 5-8 May 2022
Outstanding Mama's Day Weekend with family & friends, six of us. We converged on the farmhouse coming from 3 states: Colorado, Louisiana, & Nevada . SO glad we found it and learned about its dairy farm history. Property felt like home immediately. Very clean, everything you need, and lots of space to unwind in this quiet farmhouse after long but fun days at Magnolia, Texas Ranger Museum, and then Austin. Loved early mornings to walk around the property to see the donkeys, nearby horses, and backyard flowers. Pam was very easy to coordinate stay and answer questions. Don't hesitate to make your stay at Blue Silos. If back in Waco, we will!

PERFECTLY WONDERFUL, AGAIN THIS YEAR!
This was the second year that my girlfriends and I stayed at this lovely property for our girls' weekend. We loved it so much last year, that when we decided to meet again in Waco (from different parts of Texas), it was an absolutely unanimous decision to come back to Blue Silo farmhouse. The house is perfectly appointed and everything you could want for a gathering of family or friends. If only the walls could talk and share the stories of the family homestead that was part of the Rosenfield Dairy!! I could get into specifics, but I'll just say that I can't think of one single thing I would change about the home or our weekend together. We're already thinking ahead to next year, and will very likely stay here again.
