Great place to stay

Clean, super friendly, stylish, comfortable, well thought out - just great.

A few never-ending car alarms in the am, but not the venue's fault!

Don't be hungry or in a hurry!

Room is nice. Staff tries but obviously overstretched and stressed. Cleaning helps are friendly and helpful

Bad start as staff stated the room wasn't paid. Next kitchen is out of steak. The served chicken might be award winning but is certainly dry as toast and meal salad of £15 consists of some lettuce and croutons. Breakfast starts at 10! And is finally at your table way past 11. Means you shorten your day trip. To top it off that evening the kitchen is already closed at 19:30. All in all you feel a nuisance instead of a guest.

Enjoyable Stay

Excellent location, central to all amenities. Situated in the centre of town next to the train station. Plenty of parking available if travelling by car. Taxi rank just outside if needed. Can't fault the service at the Norfolk Arms, the staff are extremely helpful and friendly. There's a good choice of food on the menu, which is delicious.

Just what I wanted

Cooked breakfast too late on Sunday. We left at 0730. However Weatherspoons did open at 0700.

Nice hotel, enjoyed my stay!

Very good room and comfy bed. All facilities are there (including parking), very clean as well.

Price feels a tad high for a room without breakfast. When I first entered the room I was under the impression a window was open as I could feel a slight breeze. This wasn't the case. This makes me think the room might be quite humid/cold during winter, and you can also hear quite a lot of street noise (e.g. bleeping of pedestrian crossing signal). Neither was a problem to me as it was summer and I was fast asleep, but might be a problem to other guests.

Great welcome, excellent friendly staff, very comfortable room.

Didn't realise breakfast wasn't available until 10am and had to leave before then. Just the way things are.

The fact that there was limited food provision on Monday evening and breakfast was not served until 10 am on any day except Sunday. The tv did not work. No reception on any channel.

It's closest to all main routes

Well we were next to filming but they werent filming and. The attendants were annoying telling everytime that parking wasn't allowed and we were staying at the hotel the. Noise was also bad till 5 in the. Morning just rowdy and singing

Great room in a great location.

It was a lovely room right in the centre of Glossup. There was parking right in front. Check in was very easy.

I stayed over the weekend and the only negative is that you can hear the music from the pub below until midnight. It was not an issue for me, but might be if you want a quiet early night.

Terrific value for money and really comfortable.

Clean, comfortable and warm lodgings above a pub with parking that serves IPA and pizza. what’s not to love? Friendly staff and a great location.

wouldn’t stay there again!!

the fish and chips meal were had was good, the pub part seemed good although a bit short staffed although Josh was really nice and helpful.

we had to wait ages at the bar to be served and find out how to book in! the room smelt very musty, pillows and bed were awful! neither of us slept well at all! the flush on the toilet was awful I won’t go into detail! trying to leave in the morning the main doors were locked we were directed to a fire exit! but not forewarned about the height of the step the other side!!!!
